JYJ's Jaejoong is featured in a thrilling motor cycle scene in the first video teaser for the MBC family drama Triangle. The teaser showcases Jaejoong with Lee Bum Soo and ZE:A's Siwan, as three brothers who have reunited after embarking on completely different paths in life.

Jaejoong joins the growing list of acting idols such as Kim Hyun Joong and Taecyeon, who are embracing a tougher image, as the once favored flower boy concept has started to wane in popularity. Prior to Triangle, Jaejoong starred as the uptight corporate leader Cha Mu Won in the 2011 drama Protect The Boss, followed by his performance as Kim Myung Tak in the 2012 fantasy time travel drama Dr. Jin. For his gangster role of Jang Dong-chul in Triangle, Jaejoong has mastered skills such as learning to become a casino dealer, alongside castmate Siwan.

Jaejoong takes on a tougher image, with stunning results.

ZE:A's Siwan portrays Yoon Yang Ha, the privileged younger brother, who has gained the most from the brothers separating. Yoon Yang Ha maintains a harsh flower boy image, which clashes with his siblings. The role of eldest brother in the family, Jang Dong Soo, is portrayed by actor Lee Bum Soo. Lee Bum Soo most recently starred opposite Girls' Generation member YoonA in the KBS2 drama Prime Minister and I. Lee Beom Soo maintains a commanding image in Triangle, alluding to what will undoubtedly be an interesting personality dynamic between the different personalities of the brothers.

Triangle is scheduled to follow Empress Ki in the Monday-Tuesday 21:55 time slot.

Translation:

 In Sabuk, Jeongseon, if you don’t know Huh Youngdal, you can be easily treated as a spy. Even the strangers who visit Jeongseon casino will quickly get to know the name of Huh Youngdal. It’s because he lives a scumbag life, just like rubbish. His main job is to collect private loans for the casino. He’s a human being who has no sense of shame and a disgrace in this world. Even the scoundrels detest that he’s identified as the same kind as them.

When he was 10 years old, his brother who lived with him in an orphanage told him that he would be back soon, then left the orphanage. He wanted to protect his newborn brother Dongjun until his big brother comes back, but his brother was adopted. Dongchul, who couldn’t protect his baby brother, ran away from the orphanage. After several times being in and out of Youth Detention Center, he got the name of Huh Youngdal instead of Jang Dongchul.

When he was around 20 years old, he came back to Sabuk.  After that, did anything for a living. Just like the word “Effrontery", he has no shame.  The only one person who could make him feel ashamed is Oh Jeong-hee.  She’s a casino dealer that Dongchul has fallen (in love) for at the first sight.  She’s like the fruit of good and evil that taught him about shame for the first time in his life. Just looking at her from a distance can take his breath away. And then, Jang Dongsu appears in front of him. He’s investigating Dongchul’s boss Go Boktae on charges of corruption.

As a detective for 10 years, he handled a number of cases and renders distinguished services. But he hasn’t been treated as such nor promoted. It’s all because of his anger control disorder that makes numerous incidents. Only Hwang Shin Hye, a psychiatrist-turned-forensic-profiler knows of his psychiatric problem in police department. Dong Soo had two younger brothers. Two year younger Dong Cheol and a baby Dong Joon. They were called ‘ugly three brothers’ in the town. Their father died when Dong Soo was merely twelve years old, and later they were deserted by their mother who was economically distressed, which made the three brothers become orphans overnight. While having a tough life in the orphanage, he loses Dong Cheol and Dong Joon. Though 30 years passed after that, he can’t still trace his two brothers’ whereabouts. Im Siwan as Jang Dong Joon / Yoon Yang Ha

Youngest brother of Jang Dong Soo. He as a newborn baby is adopted to Yoon Tae Joon’s , a rich family who has run a mining company from Grandfather.  Thanks to that, Dong Joon grows up in comfort and well cared for. During his adolescence, a stormy period, he happens to know that he is an adopted child and was adrift. It doesn’t last long but changes him into a cynical and glacial person.  It plants desperation in his heart that his parents could dissolve the adoption any time.  The more he wants to cover his trauma, the more he gives people the cold shoulder. A lot of girls are tantalized by this stunningly handsome him with such cold personality. He never dates with anyone, even to be thought as a misogynist. The more he makes spiteful remarks about girls, the bigger love and interest they plants in their hearts. But his tightly shut heart opens after he meets a casino dealer Oh Jeong Hee. As his cold and disinterested heart opens for the first time in his life, the way he courts her can’t be quiet. Dong Joon gets to know that Jeong Hee has a gangster hovering around her and he can’t stand the fact that such guy likes her.

Oh Yeon Soo as Hwang Shin Hye

When in high school, her father Hwang Jeong Man brings an ugly boy home. He is Jang Dong Soo, known to be an orphan and a juvenile delinquent coming in and out of youth detention center. As time goes by, she becomes friends with Dong Soo and calls him ‘oppa’, but their relationship could not develop any further as he first cuts out. After graduating from a prestigious college of medicine, she marries to Oh Sang Pil but is separated later because of their troubled relationship. And she goes to United Kingdom to study and also to have a fresh start to a new life. She studied forensic profiling there, returns home and enters the National Police Agency as a profiler. She meets Dong Soo again and knows that Dong Soo is still seeing herself. She decides to finish their stifled love that they keep away from each other although they have each other in mind. However, the moment she confesses her love to Dong Joon, they meet a crisis which is fatal to their relationship.

IDK but I think I can see the resemblance of the brothers. The drama has to cast good looking parents to make it believable! Jaejoong looks awesome in the teaser! He has always had a slim frame. Kim Jae-joong to star in new drama

Kim Jae-joong of the K-pop group JYJ will return to the small screen in “Triangle.”

The new drama is expected to air after the current MBC drama “Empress Ki” ends in May.

The first official teaser for “Triangle” was released showing Kim, who plays one of the three brothers, along with actors Lee Bum-soo and Im Si-wan. The drama depicts the story of the three who meet each other again 20 years after being separated at a young age. Kim’s character is depicted as a third-rate gambler in the drama. His last drama, “Doctor Jin” in 2012.

Co-starring actresses include Baek Jin-hee, who recently concluded her role “Empress Ki.”
