I've been watching him in Bad Family and White Tower and I loveeee how he's so versatile. Him as Dal Gun in Bad Family is so spot on, he really personfies Dal Gun when he does Dal Gun's little walk and expressions. In White Tower, he's so cool and restrained, he's quite different to Dal Gun so I really respect him for his versatility as an actor. Looking forward to more of his projects. It's a shame he's not greatly appreciated on soompi.

'2007 Korean Television Directors of Photography Association Grime Award'

MBC drama [White Tower]'s Kim Myung-min & SBS drama [Lobbyist]'s Jang Jin-young are chosen as this year's best actor and actress. '2007 Grime Award' will be held on December 14th at 6:30pm.

KBS Doc Wins Cinematography Award

Cinematographer Baek Hong-jong, who shot the KBS documentary "Chamagodo," will be recognized by his peers in the industry with the Grand Prize in the Grime Awards.

Top honors in the drama category went to Lee Young-cheol and Jeong Gi-hyeon of the SBS drama "Lobbyist." For documentaries, Kim Yong-nam of the MBC program "The DMZ is Alive" also received recognition.

Established in 1993 by the Korean Television Directors of Photography Association, the Grime Award recognizes excellence in camera work and lighting. The awards ceremony will be held Friday at the Broadcasting Center in Mokdong.

Interesting to see Kim Myung Min and Jang Jin Young winning an award together. One of my most vivid Korean movie experiences is Sorum, in which they both starred. Kim Myung Min is not a good guy in that movie, and it's tough to watch what happens to Jang Jin Young's character. Very convincing acting by both of them.

They are both wonderfully talented actors, even though I personally hated Lobbyist.

Kim Myung Min is definitely one of the best Korean actors out there. I only watch his performance in White Tower but it is enough to blow me away completely. He's probably one of the few actors who can turn a villain into a likeable character. To be honest, his role as the prodigal surgeon Jang Jun Hyuk is not the most kind-hearted doctor I'd expect to love. But strangely, I hate him while loving him at the same time. When he's competing with Noh Min Guk for the chief of surgery position, despite seeing all his deceitful measures to win the title, deep inside I want to see him win. I feel very sorry when he fell sick. There are many sides to Jang Jun Hyuk's character, and Kim Myung Min brings them alive. It makes me think that Jang Jun Hyuk is overall, only a human, with ambition, greed, pride, but also vulnerability.

He's a natural talent, no doubt about it, and that's why everyone should go watch White Tower now. The drama is excellent on its account, but merely watching Kim Myung Min transforms into Jang Jun Hyuk alone is, I think, worth the time.

I look forward to seeing more high-quality projects from him in the future. Kim Myung Min fighting!
