***  I read that during the 11th and 12th episodes of the drama aired last March 21, color bars appeared at the beginning, unedited sequences with production notes were visible and scenes without computer graphics inserted were aired without proper editing prior to broadcasting. As the accident became controversial, SBS officially announced it will suspend the show temporarily this week to secure enough time for shooting and editing. For this Wednesday and Thursday, previous episodes will be aired instead. As far as I remember some years back, tvN drama series "A Korean Odyssey" (Hwayugi) also exposed a green screen before computer graphics were added. Such accidents are often blamed on poor production environment and tight schedules of the Korean drama industry, where script pieces often aren't ready until the day of shooting and filming is continuous with overnight shifts and extremely long working hours. "Item" adopted the pre-produced format and was scheduled to film from September 2018 to January of this year, but completion was delayed till this month, March, causing scheduling troubles. Sigh...............

*** I heard that Joo Jin-mo announced yesterday (April 9) his plans to tie the knot with his medical doctor GF & family doctor, Min Hye-yeon early this year, mid June in Jeju Island. JJM is already 45-years-old & he should now settle down.  While she's 10 years younger than him. I heard that she appeared on a number of TV shows in a panel of medical advisers, so she's widely known in entertainment circles.

Actor Joo Jin-mo to Marry Doctor in June

 

 

Actor Joo Jin-mo will tie the knot with a doctor in June, his agency said on Tuesday.

 

In January, Joo admitted to his relationship with family physician Min Hye-yeon, who has made herself known through TV appearances as a medical adviser.

 

"Joo is planning a private wedding and wants to make the date and location unknown," his agency said. "Joo is currently devoting his time to shooting the TV series 'Big Issue,' so the couple will decide the details of the wedding later."

*** Time flies so fast that his drama, "Big Issue" has wrapped-up now. The drama has ended its run and I enjoyed the series despite that I wasn't able to watch it continuously due to lack of time. I plan to catch-up on this when the DVD copy is available in the market soon. This will be his last drama being a single man.

*** Wahhh..............JJM is not single anymore - he's married already. Many of his celebrity friends attended to celebrate with the couple, like Song Joong Ki, Jang Dong Gun & many others............. How come I don't see Hyun Bin? I've seen one video where many of the guests are taking photos with the bride and groom. When they’re about to take a shot, Jang Dong Gun suddenly pushes Joo Jin Mo from behind, making everyone laugh. Too bad the pictures & videos are all gone! Joo Jin Mo got married on Jeju Island.
