Actor Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Now, We're Breaking Up' (hereinafter 'Jihe-jung') is unveiled.
On the 18th, 'Jihejung' side released three teaser posters.
In the released poster, the exciting melodramatic chemistry of the two main characters, Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong, catches the eye. In addition, the love process is arranged in reverse order, maximizing the happiness of love, and showing the charm of the melodrama 'Jihejung'. The first teaser poster reminds me of 'break up'. A black-and-white photo of Song Hye-kyo as if someone was on it, and two couplings lying around. All of them are images of 'parting'. However, the copy on the poster reads, “Our love is in progress.” Through this, it can be guessed that the parting in 'Jihejung' is not a 'parting' of turning around, but one of 'the process of love'.

SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” (literal title) released three new posters starring Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong!

The upcoming drama highlights the many different flavors of love and breakups. Song Hye Kyo plays Ha Young Eun, a manager of the design team at a fashion label who is also a trendy and intelligent realist. Jang Ki Yong plays Yoon Jae Guk, a wealthy and popular freelancer photographer who has both brains and looks.

The new poster captures the heart-fluttering romantic chemistry between Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk and highlights the process of love and breakups in reverse order. The first poster makes viewers think of breakups with a black-and white-photo of Ha Young Eun, which has been burned by someone, and two abandoned couple rings. Although these remnants remind people of farewells, the text on the poster reads, “Our love is still ongoing,” signifying how breakups are just another part of the process of loving.

Through a photo of Yoon Jae Guk and Ha Young Eun, the second poster depicts how couples create memories together. The couple smiles brightly as they hold hands while exuding a comfortable and affectionate vibe, portraying how every moment spent with a significant other becomes a happy memory. The heartwarming photo builds anticipation for the beauty of their romance.

In the final poster, Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk convey the heart-fluttering beginnings of love. Yoon Jae Guk is full of excitement as he holds up a camera, and Ha Young Eun shyly reciprocates with similar feelings in front of the lens, drawing anticipation for how their romance begins.

Although most dramas go through the typical route of starting love, building memories, and breaking up, “Now, We Are Breaking Up” takes on a unique perspective by discussing breakups and going through the normal process in reverse order. This method only seems to further emphasize the happiness from the loving moments even more, focusing on the beauty of the process of loving and not just its end.

On October 19, the drama released a new teaser for the drama with the two leads Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong. The teaser begins with Ha Young Eun and Yoon Jae Guk locking eyes in the rain. Sharing one umbrella together, the two exchange feelings of affection and ardent passion. Viewers become breathless the moment Ha Young Eun’s and Yoon Jae Guk’s gazes meet. The text reads, “Let’s at least love while we’re breaking up.” The teaser highlights the message that breaking up is just another part of the process of loving rather than saying farewell.

The teaser focuses once more on Ha Young Eun, who is misty-eyed and about to burst into tears. She fades away, and Yoon Jae Guk appears standing alone with the umbrella they once used together. Eventually, he stops looking at where Ha Young Eun once stood and turns around.
