SBS unveiled a “mood” teaser for their upcoming drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” (literal title)!

The drama highlights the many different flavors of love and breakups. Song Hye Kyo plays Ha Young Eun, a manager of the design team at a fashion label who is also a trendy and intelligent realist. Jang Ki Yong plays Yoon Jae Guk, a wealthy and popular freelancer photographer who has both brains and looks.

The teaser begins with the narration, “Here is the last song of this rainy day. Car the Garden’s ‘STAY,'” and the title “Now, We Are Breaking Up” appears on the screen. Car the Garden’s “STAY” proceeds to play, and the screen shows a camera, two black-and-white photos of Ha Young Eun, and a ring on the surface of a table. Another ring rolls into view, and the photos of Ha Young Eun begin to burn from a corner. Though everything on the table suggests that a breakup has taken place, the text on the screen reads, “But our love is still ongoing.”

The drama’s producers revealed that Car the Garden’s new song “STAY” will be part of the drama’s actual OST and has been previewed for the first time through this teaser.

Ki-yong's 'Jihe- jung ' teaser released SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Now, we're breaking up' (play Jane/Director Lee Gil-bok/Creator Line & Kang Eun-kyung/Producer Samhwa Networks, UAA/hereafter 'Jihe-jung') will be released on November 12. first aired 'Jihe-jung' is written as 'farewell' and read as 'love', it is a breakup actually written with sweet, salty, spicy and sour. Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong's two actors met, and it is gathering hot topics even before the broadcast.
In the midst of this, the teaser trailer for 'Jihejung' was released by surprise on October 12, drawing attention. The first teaser for 'Jihejung' is the last song on a rainy day. It begins with the narration of “STAY” by Carder Garden. Then, Car the Garden's sweet song plays, and the screen shows a camera, two black and white photos of Song Hye-kyo (played by Ha Young-eun), and a table with a ring on it. At this point, a ring on the table and another ring that looks like a coupling roll in. Then, Song Hye-kyo's picture is burned, and her smile in the picture slowly disappears. Burning pictures, rolling couplings, etc. are images that remind us of 'farewell' just like the title of the drama. However, a copy of “But our love is in progress” appears on the screen, implying that the breakup in ‘Jihejung’ means love, not just parting.
The harmony of emotional ballads and images that symbolize separation and love color a part of the viewer's heart with vagueness. Next, “Song Hye-kyo X Jang Ki-yong”, “Now, we are breaking up”, “2021. The video ends with the caption of the broadcast notice “First broadcast on Friday, November 12.”
Unlike the teaser trailers of other dramas, in the teaser trailer for 'Jihejung', not a single cut of the video in this drama appeared. It's not like the actors showed up and showed off their acting. However, the title 'Now, we are breaking up', the meaning of parting and love contained in it, and the overall atmosphere and emotion of the drama were shown with an impact. It was like watching a beautiful music video for 30 seconds.
According to the production team, Car the Garden's 'STAY', which was inserted in the first teaser trailer, is one of the OSTs to be inserted into the actual 'Jihejung'. The bold plan of 'Jihe-jung', which exposed the OST through the teaser preview before the broadcast, is also impressive. I am curious and looking forward to what kind of love story 'Jihe-jung' will tell in this drama, which leaves a lingering impression and affection without showing many scenes.
Meanwhile, SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Now, We're Breaking Up' is a collaboration between writer Jane of 'Misty' and director Gil-bok Lee of 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 2'. participated in this 'Now, We're Breaking Up' will premiere on November 12, following 'Wonder Woman'.
