The film is about a story of South Korean soldier Nambok (Seol Kyung Goo) and North Korean soldier Young Kwang (Yeo Jin Goo) fighting for a confidential document.

Song Yoon Ah and Sul Kyung Gu couple go on family vacation abroad

Actor and actress couple Sul Kyung Gu and Song Yoon Ah went on a family vacation trip abroad.

On February 17th Song Yoon Ah posted a photo of her family including her husband Sul Kyung Gu and their son Seung Yoon. They looked excited with the family trip that came around in a while.

Song Yoon Ah showed off her chic daily style in black jeans accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses. You can feel so much love from the look of the father walking behind their son.

Meanwhile, Song Yoon Ah married Sul Kyung Gu in 2009 and they have one son, Seung Yoon.

Song Yoon-ah offered tvN bodyguard-romance drama K2

No confirmation has been made yet regarding Ji Chang-wook’s (Healer) potential casting in upcoming tvN production K2 (and I assure you I’m keeping an eager eye out for that update), but the show now also has an offer out to Song Yoon-ah (Assembly, Mama), and she is reportedly considering.

 

The drama description is still a bit vague; it’s a love story between a presidential candidate’s hidden daughter and a bodyguard who’s abandoned by his countrymen, with Ji Chang-wook considering the role of the bodyguard. Song Yoon-ah’s potential character will be the presidential candidate’s wife, who’s also the eldest daughter in a chaebol family. She has an approachable image that’s also graceful and elegant, and projects affection and integrity… but on the inside, she’s full of ambition and charisma.

Well, the casting call is pretty appropriate, since Song Yoon-ah has played all of those things at some point in her career, though perhaps not all at once in one character. Considering that the politician’s daughter is a hidden one (I take that to mean illegitimate), I’m thinking Song Yoon-ah won’t be her mother, though we’ll have to wait till more story details are released to get a handle on the plot.

K2 will be written by Jang Hyuk-rin of medical-romance thriller Yong-pal and directed by PD Kwak Jung-hwan of Chuno and Neighborhood Hero. It is currently in consideration for the Friday-Saturday timeslot on tvN to follow The Good Wife, which was until recently slated to go to the time-traveler-and-wife romance Tomorrow With You, which is hoping to score Lee Min-ki and Shin Mina to headline. If K2 wins out, it’ll premiere in September.

10 July Update:  According to several news reports today, it has been reported that both Ji Chang Wook and Song Yoon Ah have met with the production company in charge of “K2” (working title), and that their roles have been "confirmed."  (Song Yoon Ah will be portraying the role of a wife and eldest daughter of a Presidential front-runner candidate; she will not be cast in the “hidden daughter” role that still has yet to be cast.)   Again, there is still no official press release from Glorious Entertainment other than their statement "It's true that this is a project that he's considering, but his appearance is not confirmed yet," so as always, take this with a grain of salt.  But if all the major news portals are reporting the same thing, then it looks like the tvN project is going ahead... with or without Ji Chang Wook.   We will update as more information is known.
