I can`t wait to see So yeon on screen again. It was a long time for me. This time she worked on a action fantasy drama. I like that it is somehow a new genre for her after so long. There were 12 episodes but they filmed long like a drama with 50 episodes.  Action, fantasy.... not very easy to do. Everyone worked really hard. Visually, I am not worried. 1938 era, folcklore stories, colorful characters, cool actions/ effects, but what really makes a good drama is the script. Fingers crossed that So yeon`s next project is succesful/good drama.

From the description, it looks like Hong Joo is the main antagonist to Lee Yeon and not Choi Mu Young like it was the first  described. She has a crush on him but she hates him because she was rejected. I like that she is a grey character and I am looking forward to see  what she has to show. Her animal is an Eurasian eagle-owl. It`s cute. I am praying the writer won`t reduce Hong joo as the obsesive woman who can`t get over the rejection. Please.... Don`t waste this female character potential. I want a powerful, confident, with a sense of humor lady, with her own agenda. To mope only for an unrequited love in the drama is lame.

 

Both Hong Joo and Mu Myeong likes to drink?  I could see them bonding.

The story will also cover: - How Lee Yeon became a mountain god

- Lee Yeon and Lee Rang's father

- Lee Rang's short but passionate love story

Looks good on paper for everything else. Let see the story. I am kind of worry about So yeon`s character but let`s trust the writer this time.

About the description of her character....

 

I know she has lots of action scenes and that`s why I am optimistic that somehow she plays a character with her own agenda in the drama but I don`t have high hopes. I don`t want to be very disappointed.

I am sure Ha Do Kwon will play a high ranking officer or a  rich man who is smitten with Hong joo. So Yeon plays a woman with an unrequited love two times in the row and I hope it is less pathetic than the last one.

 

She just finished filming for Tale of The Nine Tailed 1938 and I wish there are news for a new drama.

I wish a romantic melodrama for her. I don`t wish for a rom com unless it is a good script which I doubt there will be one.

 

I haven`t watched anything for a month or two. I don`t remember exactly when I watch the last episode of a  kdrama.

I am still here at Soompi but I don`t know if I will continue for long. I feel sad to the thought that  no one will continue to update So yeon page.
