i agree with littleloony.... she should not be in the medical field... its not because you are born from a family of doctors that you should be a doctor..... that's when you ruin yourself to destruction trying to fulfill someone's dreams and not your own.....  i guess the incosiderate attitude beame genetic suddenly.... she cannot be content of what she wants and always eyeing what other people have... that is why she is never happy.... as they say dont covet what is not yours.....

I'm not that well-versed enough to know the medical term. But, as far as I understand, there comes a point in the ops that the archer loses her sight and HJ suggested one option while SW asked to wait. JH went ahead with HJ's suggestion after consideration. But SW kept pushing JH to wait instead repeatedly which could make the patient nervous which is why HJ came in and told SW off. The post-ops discussion was also about that behaviour, for not believing in the decision the team has made when the patient can perfectly see and hear her behaviour.

@angelangie yes she really went into panic.  this is her first time to see an awake surgery... but it seems like she hasn't read much on it that is why she panics.  the concerning part other than what the patient will hear is that with her banter she will make JH lose his concentration and put unnecessary pressure at that point.  which can lead to errors and more problems.  you can already see the pressure on JH's face when the patient started to have blurring of vision.. but he took a deep breath to probably calm his own nerves.  That is the problem with brain, esp on this kind of closed surgery, you really don't know much where you are touching and a wrong hit on one nerve can cause grave effects  ive been in neurosurgery icu or a long time... so ive seen and experienced how delicate the brain is... hehehe... even after a successful surgery when family asks, will they move this r that or hows the memory... the only thing we can answer is we will know when the patient wakes up...

it can be one way or another in dealing with this kind of situations.  Most of the time it is shock that will engulf you for a while but there are times that adrenaline will shot through you that you will actually act faster than what you thought you can do.  it varies on how you feel at a moment on how to react.  

in HJ's part, i think because she is still in cloud 9 and very excited reuniting with this person that she cherished in her past.  that she is looking forward and creating more plans in the future... like probably meeting his son, hang out etc.. and then suddenly the inevitable happen.  and the worst thing is... what happens directly relates to her speciality.  Of everything why a trauma? an accident that may cause traumatic brain injury... so her brain must be working too fast on giving possible diagnosis and prognosis... i haven't seen the first part as  woke up late so i really want to see how things went hehehehe but just happy that he lived....

awww thanks for this.... i so loveeeee uri doctor hong!!!!! how can he be so perfect.... well in my view hahahaha what he said on the childishness is so true... and also if you can have that part in a relationship it will be easier to get through many hardships... because you can go back to a part of like an innocent child and just look into something that will make you happy.. my heart

 

and on the second part.... awww he really wants her to depend on him.. he is trying to make HJ understand that bottling things up inside rying to endure will not do her good and sometimes being weak is acceptable.. and is she feels weakened it ok and he will be there to be her strength!!!!! kyaaa!!!! can someone bring me Dr. Hong in real life????!!!

i think unnie even if SW and YD came from same social status.. they have a little different background.  YD also came from broken family.  After having 2  stepmoms, he must have known what HJ felt at some point.  He may not understand fully the complexity of the strained relationship of Hj with his family because he was never abused by his step mom.  He was taken aback when at one point yesterday HJ mentioned about being abused. So, lets really do hope that YD will not turn sour graping out of jealousy.

 but even if he doesn't know anything about the abuse.... he knew that something is wrong with HJ's behavior.. and yet to throw him in a distance away from him... he literally abandones her for the sake of the abuser.  yet he has the nerve to confront HJ because he saw that she is warm towards other families but not him???? he should be the one to have an operation in the head really.... he might have had an amnesia forgetting what he put HJ through and now he and the whole family just crashing into HJ's life as if nothing has happened in the past?????

well you kinda give them the facts of high success rates if there is but then you also have to give the fact that any operation comes with a risk however minimal the chances of it occurring.  but some doctors really take it to heart if they fail and their self confidence sometimes muddle their rationality on treatment.  but i also hope that if the operation is not a success, JH may feel a set back but not dwell on it for long.  we just barely started and thee will be more cases to come hehehe

if SC will die, it will really make a big impact on HJ.  first, seeinh the accident unfolding right before her eyes and more so, if he dies in her hands... in her operating table.  As I was surprised that she chose and allowed to do this battle.  Most of the time, families are not allowed to do the operaiion to their loved one because emotion can get in the way and muddle your rationality or concentration.  

As for JH, I feel bad that the operation on the archer will really make a blow on him, and his confidence.  Because he gave too much assurance to the patient that he will have the tendecy to really take on the full blame
