    omoooo no use for tissues thank goodness... my heart nearly stopped though when he had atrial flutter... but then errr who stops resuscitation before the patient gets back to life hehehehe...

    and what a sweet ending we had.... that 'bed scene' hehehehe what a way to end... the movie date and falling asleep in each other's arms.... now I want in the morning that they wake up and dr song and nurse looking at them ahahaha that will be hilarious!!!!!

    I will try not to think of the preview... its a troll... I'm still hopeful no one dies!!!!!

    supposedly not... because the higher the chance that you can make mistake as you are quite shocked and emotional at this stage.  but....it can happen if the doctor is firm to say that his/her judgement will not be clouded with emotions and can carry on.... and treat the other as just another patient. but should not be but can happen. ofcourse if that decision will be made, the doctor will have a back  who can catch up things when it fails....  MY's character have shown that she can stand high pressure situation even with a gun pointed at her head.  so its feasible.... but its gonna be extremely difficult and the guilt that you will shoulder if something wrong happens will be immense

    if you are in the medical field.... your worst nightmare really will be to have someone u love appear unexpectedly in front of your eyes lifeless and their life is in your hayet you can't do anything.... u will be frozen... much as when that happens, other people has to take over because you are governed with your emotions and may make a critical error that may lead to further mishap....

     

    I know my is aware that thiscan happen anytime but its gonna be different... grab some boxes of tissues tomorrow... my head is still aching just trying t think what has just happened and what I saw on my screen.... :bawling:

    As expected the thread is again on mad fire!  I'm still waiting for the subbed episode but daebak.... its another emotional roller coaster ride for us...Big Boss... uri captain... what are you doing to me... I died in different ways with you today... and I think I'll doe more when I watch the sub.  Everyone in the cast did well.... the four leads has been great with their emotion filled scenes... no words needed just the eyes says it all..... and who swooned   with Dr. Song and the lead nurse??? Awwww I ship this couple... the rain during the draught... the laughter on this painful times.... They are so cute... adorable indeed.... And the golden 3hour.... oh my.... my heart was thumping hardly at the end of the episode like I want t shout whyyyy end now???  well I guess all of us have the same thoughts....anyway... I need to wait now for the subs before I fully express my thoughts... just really dropping by ou guys in here :) :heart:

    It happens a lot of times and not only on operating tables.  The transmission of infection through body flyids to a mucous membrane.  If we are splashed on any body fluids in the eyes, we immediately wash off and we have to take blood tests or sometimes even take antibiotics as prophylaxis.

     

    ive just watched ep10... So its influenze... Also known as flu virus.  There is no real M type... So its a made up clssification.... The worst type of flu virus is the h1n1 or avian/bird's flu... They are transmitted im air droplets or direct contact but not blood though.  Rhey classified M3 to nearly similar to ebola but lesser evil... So i ferl like their M3 type is a mutated virus of influenza and ebola... Ebola on the other hand can be transmitted with any body fluids which includes bloods.. Thus it goes with the squirting into the eyes... Looking at the manager's symptoms its more i clined to the ebola virus strain but will present symptoms of severe influenza

    I dont think that the virus came vron the diamonds... As mentioned  by @staygold fter a clamiry an epidemic is feasible to rise.  And there is already a measles virus going around as shown i the camp of the kids.   Now the diamond is not the source... There is a possible port of entry for the ,anager. Last weeks episode when he got wounded on his ankle after facing argus.. That wound is a port of entry.  We just dont know where was he exposed to get the virus... And afterthe earthquake the licing conditins has not been great really.  I me tioned abt the measles virus from kids... It can be that kind of virus that he acquired  that could have been mutated to a new type of virus.  Now the role of the diamond... Diamond is the hardest rock... Now the swallowed diamonds might have caused perforation n his stomach or intestines. The perforatio. Will result to bleeding thus he presented himself with abdominal pain and vomiting.  Npw as i have explained above... The viral infection that he ight have cRried might have cause his blood to get too thin and not clotting  and cause the bleeding.

    in regards to mj being splashed in the eyes... Its the same danger as when ypu have an open wound.  The eye mucosa is very open and with a good blood supply and if its a blood to blood transmission, its quicker to infiltrate the body.  The mucosa became the port of entry for mj... She do t need to have wound becAuse her eyes is an open port of entry and splash of blood or any infected body fluids is very high risk. Ihope the explanation helps

The most common cause of it in the USA is stomach virus but for Uruk here the cause is the Varicella zoster virus. It only affects humans.     Like I said this info could not pertain to the show but this could be the disease that they are talking about. However, looking at the symptoms and the presence of a tumor I believe that the virus in the drama is fake.     Don't know if anyone thinks this is helpful but I'm just putting this out for general knowledge!

    Im in health scuences and inhavent heard m3 virus so i tried to researchabt it.. And really cant find much significnt other than it is like a recombinant mutant gene ot something of the sort.. Anyways, whilst watching the stream i thought i caught the word ebolA virus.... The. When MY operating onthe mnager she noticed something about the blood  thAt is unusual thus she predicted a possible infection asking everyone to step back.  I am not sure if its The blood is too thin or is it DIC, at which the blood lots quicker than normal.  In ebola, it is known to have hemirrhagic symptoms, which is profuse bleeding in layman's term.... Dic on the other hand can be caused by a few things and one if these can be an infection, but more inclined to bacterial or fungal rather than viral.  I need the sub at the least to eratand the symptoms...

    i dont think this is viral meningitis though.... Since meningitis affects the meninges of the brain, his symptoms doesn't correlate much to what viral meningitis it.  He doesnt show much of  signs of irritated brain... Which is fever, vomiting, malIs, fatigue, neck rigidity...  Presented with abdominal pain and internal bleeding...

     

    i hope the writer has a good explanation of the illness.  I dont ask to be too realistic but if one is writing a medicl drAma then it has to be backed up with good research as well....

     

    in a different note..... Congratulations teAm dots for keeping it above 30% woohoo!!!!  And i agree that sjk and shk hAve delivered their english lines well.  And well done to everyine here in the thread... I reLly cNt crch up with the raging speed of you guys burning the pages here hahahaha..... And apologies that i wasnt qble to do recaps now because my soompi thread lags a lot recently....

    another great episode....we had everything and kore than what we Asked for.... At the star they made us giggly with sj and my and also dy and mj... Sweet moments on both couples... Love it!  Sheer hapiness!  Then they made us laugh with those two me. Trying to prevent the misunderatndings with the girls... Ahahaha it cracks me up seeing them run for their dear lives.... This is a different level of aaving their heads as compared to how they risk their life during wars hahaha... Ohhh it still makes me laugh imagining it hahaha!  And then the excitement when sj and my sa unf the girl... My giggling so much after driving th car forward to save sj and the girl haha... Whilst sj at the back is still cqtching his breath and stunned as to what his wiman just did lol! And then another wxcitement when alpha team raided argus... Sj looked so hotttttttt... He looks so hot i almost died out of breath.... jOong ki in black clothes... Super sexy.... What. Pre cn i say to that lol.... Then the sadness that they left us with to wait for another week... Sigh!  That hug that dy gave mj.. With no words being uttered us just sooo sad.... My heart was broken to pieces and that is no words from him... And just a phrase of realization from mj that it was her who got the infection... Awww im still tearing up with the scene!,,,,

     

    oh my... dots is really making me feel the emotions in one sitting and never failed to leave us hanging until next week.... Suc a torment.... If last week we have been giggling all the way whilst waiting... Now its a different emotion... Writernim.... What are u ding to us.... And now the countdiw s starts.... Sigh still feels heavy though with that ending....

    they did a guerrilla date (star date) with joong ki a long time ago near a women's university and they have to abandon the street walk and has to ust film ide a café because there is just too much crown hahahaha.....

    as much as I'm exited for Wednesday to come... I'm a bit sad because I wont be able to stream live because f some appointment.. so at this early, I am already thaning the recappers, screencappers, videocappers who will help me get through tomorrow!!!! and I'm soo anticipating the lipstick tasting... hmm should I look into laneige now??? hahahahahaha  and the swoon worthy smile of yoo jin and the priceless reaction of dr kang if they meet ahahahaha....

    Im sooo happy!!!!! Yes, it dipped down buut so glad that its not a uge percentage... minute in fact! And i felt so relieved.... Yesterday when friends are talking about naver trends i got afraid and felt really worried... Aww im so happy for DOTS team!!! fighting!!! And fighting for all of us in here!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :heart::heart::heart:

     

    cross fingers for today's episode and i bet they will give us a true cliff hanger!!! and torment us for another week.... but really i can have a good sleep tonight!!! my heart is soooo happy!!!.... and i can't wait for the subs!!!!!

    have u guys enjoyed the episode???? im sorry i wasnt ableto recap but i know loads of our chingus are hee... and thanks for your efforts!!!! fighting!!!!  this episode gave a deeper meaning on our story line... its not all about the romance, bromance or the sweet bickering of the couple.... it not just about wars, and cute guys in uniforms... nor doctors that gets their nice safe area in the hospital..... this is a realistic calamity situation that touches our humane hearts.... that lets us connect to the deeper meaning and understanding of life... of the decisions we make... for the benefit not of ourselves but of others in this dire situation.... the frustration and stress that makes us appreciate what we have, what we can do and the others around us.... this episode is a roller coaster ride for my emotions earlier... one minute u wanted to cry, u will be touched, in pain and smile and swoon and laugh.....what more can i ask really?

     

    but then ofcourse i will forever swoon on joong ki's chiseled face, his lips...oh my god! and his commanding presence...

    i squealed when DY nd MJ scene... and that beautiful hug made me teary!!!!!!!

    the talk of uri capt Yoo and Dr Kang... that now they are understanding more each other's job... the depth of it.... the responsibity on their shoulders...and im hoping that in this situation they will feel more that they need each other... to be each other's stregth...

     

    and let's be each other's stregth and hoping dramagod will be good to DOTS on tomorrows ratings!!!! hope it just stays the same or if it will drop... may it be just a little that it will not be felt much...im kind of nervous...

    THank goodness its wednesday... it has been a long week but the wait was worth because of all the pics shared... and with uri joong ki winning in SIA!!!!

    Two things that made me laugh though... one... the news on the chinese media about dots dangerous for you ahahahhaa!!! Oh my god... honestly I cant believe it will come up to that... and we are only on episode 6... what more will they do when we get halfway (whoops its this week) ahaha or a few more episodes??? They will not ban dots right???? d they want to flip millions of their citizens hahahaha!!!!!  BUt then i am one of the crazy but responsible fanatic hahahaha!!!!!

    Second, I'm being summoned to another thread that goes up against DOTS.... i dont mind really but then when i read it they are bashing DOTS and i feel sort of annoyed why do they have to do that.  I almost put on a response but then i restrained myself as i dont want a problem that may arise and it will be quite immature... why do people just get out of the thread silently if they are not pleased with the drama... its out own choice... no one else decides but us... so puhleezeeee...ive heard from a few that dots are overrated that is why they dont want to watch it... but why bother saying anything against it right?? well...I'm probably for something this good that can be overrated... well lets admit its overly popular...yes maybe because of Joong Ki or any of the other main leads.... but then people should try not just the first two eps to generalise.... anyway for me... im loving the story to bits... im loving the charcters to bits...im loving the actors to bits.... AND IM LOING JOONG KI TO THE MOON AND BACK!!!!!! OH YES I WILL SAY ON THIS SHIP BECAUSE MY CAPTAIN IS HERE AND IM LOVING EVERY MINUTE!!!!

     

    anyways..... hope we have a good stream later guys.... lemme back read some pages... this thread never sleeps... ahahahaha i cant catch up much because of work but im thankful to all who keeps this thread burning pages!!!!!!

    Awwww feeling so happy with the rating!! Congrats to dots!!!oubwell deserve it!!! Guys even though uri couple will be separated for a short while think about the reunion of the bromance!!! Ahahaha am so happy for this! Havent seen the subs yet as i am still at work!!! But im all excited already and hoping that my streaming later will be good!!! Chaebal!!!!!!!! Anyways gotta go back...     Hello dear comrades.... its just one more hour to wait beofre episode 5!!!! thank goodness!!!! it has been a long wait....

    Woooh... its nice to see that you have joined the ship and this thread dear chingus @Ahpheng @moodypie  @bebebisous33

    when they say that time fly quick...well not recently though as its still tues :(  but then the comrades here are quick and the thread pages kept on flying whewww!!!!!!

    before anything else...errrmmm to the comrade who said to swap the otp midway ahmmm pls dont even think about going that line of thought... i want the otps 1 & 2 stay as they are... the only one i can accept is my bromance otp hehehe... just the thought SJK might have another broamnce couple award after YAI!!!! ahahahahaha oh my that will be a good one :)

    after 4 episodes, i am rewatching all over again hahahah... just because im tired waiting and i need some does of medicine to get me through.  The plot so far has been solid and running at a very good phase.  Like no kidding and running around senseless.  We get a good movement of the show.  Not too much introduction nor excessive flashbacks.  Evrything is handled at the right amount at the right time needed.  We have seen some established facts about our characters and yet i believe that as the drama goes there will be development and discovery that is waiting to be unveiled.

    KMY is a good experienced cardiothoracic surgeon who strives to reach the top because she got no familial connections.  \And no matter how much talented she is, success is just too far for her.  I dont think though that she is too naive, she just developed her pesonality based on what the world showed her.  Her belief is simple from a doctor's point of view, if she can save a life with her skills then she would in contrast to what SJ's role where he needs to save lives by risking his own life.  ANd it may mean eliminating some to keep the greater population's safety.  SHe is one stubborn lady who stands up for what she thinks is right, but hen too late to realise what is happening around.  But i guess she will come around soon as she sees the other r=side of reality.  That not every day is filled with roses bloom... that reality can be harsh and it can put you on a spot to make the hardest decision of your life.   There are times that i get annoyed with her character really.  Whn she kept saying that SJ's secrecy is a lie.  Her emotions are eating her up making her not make a sound judgement.  WHen one soldier deleted pictures from her colleague's camera she gave a rough comment.  I was a bit upset about her reactions to this military secrecy when she shuld have understood for someone  who keeps a lot confidential matters in the hspital.  Every profession has to keep a certain level of confidentiality and she shoudl understand that.  But i guess her emotions is on top of her head clouding he judgement when it comes to SJ.

    YSJ is a soldier to every word of it.  He is a leader so he do things straight forward, no running in circles.  What you see is what you get for him.  SOme people don't believe in love at first sight. i neve expereinced it myself but i know that it can happen.  its like fatal attraction that whatever you do, you are drawn to that person. But as much as he is attracted to her he knos when to stop when she said so... very respectful.  Then fate gae him another chance and oh man he knows how to use it esp he is the lead of the camp hahahaha....  the stone i hope as well they both got each to go back to the beach... goodness we are just ep 4 and we are all anticipating the ending... andawe.. we need to enjoy th ride first..

    The OST is really heart tugging.... but i was wishing that it has new stills rather than the previous episodes but ohhhh myyyy goddddd!!! the extended version of the kiss and another kisssss!!!!!!! my heart needs reviving now!!!!! ottoke... im so excited for the next episode...

     

    Hang in there all of you chingus.. we are near to bliss!!!!!  awww im so excited:heart::heart::heart:   :wub::wub::dizzy:

    I liked SJK before when I was watching SKC.  Now I think I love him.  I know I will get in line way behind all you folks.  But his acting has been stellar.  And a cutie to boot.

    he is now talking to her and is quite upset, MY is getting teary eyed.

    SJ really not happy that MY went to the camp and had an argument with his sunbae.

    (I guess because it is part of his work that she should not meddle with)

    MY said sorry to him and took the car and drove away, crying

    SJ left by the cliff and he is walking when DY rang him

    He asked about MJ. 

    SJ ended the call.

     

    SJ got back to the camp in the evening after he was picked up by one of the men.

    He went to the kitchen and looked for something to drink, alcohol.

    MY also entered the kitchen and was about to leave but SJ called her and asked why she was there.

    He then invited her to stay and have a drink with him.

    Sj is taking a glass to give to her, but she drank on the bottle (lol)

    They got back to the camp and SJ feeling down and not opening up to MY.

    Morning comes, MY came out and saw the naked army jogging.  he called them and asked for SJ.

    THe ead spoke to her and told her that Sj went to the base camp to talk to the superiors in regards of what happened.

    SJ now being grilled by three higher commanders.  As he is walking out, MJ tripped him

    They exchanged pleasantries and talked.

    (Goodness me, Jookngki looks so hot in this formal military attire... not the combat uniform hahaha...)

    Then he noticed that MY came to the base camp and she went to see the commander of SJ.  She is upset and trying to reason out of what happened.

    The commande spoke to her but SJ runs and tooke her out and saying sorry to his leader.

    They drove off and they stopped in a cliff to talk.
