  1. @xtlover15-thank you again! OMG please tell me where is this clip from (GD in blue shirt, black hair) with your caption "this look" (is this GD acting in something?).  It was my understanding he's not keen on acting...Mind you I saw the Secret Garden parody by BB and I never laughed so hard in my life. Adorable.

@KimJongKookie- I'm also dying to know the story behind your gif with the caption "GD Falsetto."...and "I know we all agreed not to discuss 2011 again..." I can barely make out what's happening in that gif lol.. I need it in slo mo lol.  Is it during a concert?  I'm dying to know the story behind it... That's what happens when you get into a band 10 years too late ha ha... AND thank you for  posting the Cafe clips ... I haven't listened to them yet but tonight I'm curling up on the couch with my ipad and will give it my proper attention... please suggest anything and everything I should be watching and listening to! I'm always grateful for any suggestions from long time fans. :)

  2. Hello everyone, NEW VIP from Australia reporting for duty!

I don't even know if anyone reads anything here anymore but I'm going to have my say anyway.

@xtlover15- THANK YOU for all your magnificent posts.  Someone like me who is new to Big Bang REALLY appreciates all your efforts.

I'm fairly new to k-pop in general (although you cannot classify BB as just "k-pop" as they are SOOO MUCH more) and the only k-songs I've known so far were the OSTs from k-dramas that I've enjoyed for the past few years.

I know it sounds crazy but it wasn't until this January that I listened for the first time to BB's "Bang Bang Bang" and IMMEDIATELY fell in love lol.... I think I listened to that song and watched that MV (and Dance Practice) about 300 times and I couldn't get enough.  The next day I listened to Bae Bae and fell in love in again.... then to Loser and fell in love again...etc etc.... Every single day I would discover another song that I loved and I couldn't believe what I have been missing all this time.  It helped that I was on holidays from work and I could devote pretty much most of my holidays to watching MVs and listening to their new songs.

A wonderful friend from here tried to tell me few years back how great they are but I watched the beginning of Fantastic Baby MV and I don't think I was ready for them yet lol.... Fast forward few years and I am totally and utterly obsessed now lol.

On one hand I know I am 10 years too late to join the fandom BUT I don't think all is lost as the MADE Album was just released in December 2016 so there's hope for me yet!  I have now bought the MADE album on itunes (it's safe to say it's been a long time since I bought any band's ENTIRE album) and I cannot get enough.  They are SO SO good. The songs are interesting, melodic, I love the musical arrangements and how varied the songs are.  Generally I am not a huge fan of just rap or just hip hop on their own BUT the way BB have done it, the mixture of different musical genres is pure gold.  I don't think I can even pick a favourite song from MADE because every time I think I have a favourite I become crazy about another song.  One day I listened to "Girlfriend" entire day alone (I LOVE this song!) before I moved onto Zutter which is so awesome.  The MV was just hilariously crazy and so brave lol.

Then of course I discovered "IF YOU" which just killed me because it's so beautiful (seeing them sing it live just made me whimper as it's so heartbreakingly beautiful).  Only this weekend I discovered "Good Boy" and once again I've been listening to it non-stop.  The way GD and Taeyang dance OMG!!!!

I will slowly add to my collection of their songs by listening to their older material.

I love the entire band... although I better just confess straight away to GDragon stealing my heart  BUT all the boys are so wonderful and watching them in Happy Together 2015 made me a fan for life.  Each band member has got a unique voice and personality and together they create magic.  Here's my personal take on them so far but please don't hate me if I got things wrong, I'm only slowly getting to know them (I have 10 years to catch up!):

GD - he is just an enigma, on one hand he is this confident, super talented, daring, professional and boundary-breaking individual with a smile that makes you go weak at the knees!  On the other hand he is serious, very insightful, intelligent and surprisingly shy.  When I watch him in Happy Together and then I see some of his daring Instagram pics I cannot believe it's the same person.

TOP - just slays at whatever he does. He raps like a god but sings with such amazing tenderness.  And yes, I was lurking here when he enlisted and I lost it and teared up when I saw the pic of GD snuggled into his shoulder and TOP's eyes so sad.  It was heartbreaking.  I couldn't believe that I joined the fandom a month before TOP's enlistment! I am counting the days already until he comes back!

TAEYANG - I just LOVE him.  He is such a total sweetheart! He is so professional and dedicated with the voice (and body!) to die for. I've been reading such nice things about him that it makes me gush... I can't wait to discover more about him.

DAESUNG - not only does he have this angelic, incredible voice BUT he is such a peacemaker! That moment in Happy Together when Seungri was jokingly paying out Taeyang for "stripping" his shirt off during performances and Taeyang got annoyed a little and Daesung just peacefully patted Taeyang's arm so that he wouldn't get upset at Seungri and I thought to myself Oh my Lord, you are so gorgeous Dae! And Dae is so humble!

SEUNGRI - Seungri is just hilarious! He deserves his own talk-show and he would slay it! He knows not to take himself too seriously and he's just a hoot.

I'm just in awe of them all :).  They keep on re-inventing themselves all the time and you never know what to expect. I can totally see why they are THE Kings :D

And just for the record - I am the type of VIP who totally believes in the band's right to privacy and private lives.  I want them to be genuinely happy, to have girlfriends, to love whoever they want and to be loved in return and to have some semblance of normal lives the way we all enjoy. They all deserve such support from us.:).

  3. I am SOOOOOO delighted that LJK & IU won the Best Couple award!  Considering how much bad rap this show had received I didn't expect them to get anything, so this was a lovely bonus.  In fact, I was so happy that I didn't even care that they had to share the award with other "best" couples, I'll take what I can get :).  LJK & IU were such good sports by how excited they were to receive it.

AND I have to agree with @shamelessmiss- that in a strange way I got my sense of closure seeing "Wang So & Hae Soo" together in modern times on the red carpet.  They looked so beautiful together!  AND thanks @briseis for the BTS footage and pics.  It just proved to me that they shared such lovely chemistry on and off the show. In fact seeing the whole "gang" from Scarlet Heart together was heartwarming! YAY!!!

@antoniaclamens- thank you for such a devine compilation of Wang So pics.... I have bookmarked that post!

  4. Hello everyone! @cedarwood- where are you my girl, I don't think I've seen you around lately... mind you, I've been really slack and just lurking here and there and not posting stuff!  BTW - I thought of you when I saw further pics of LJG with the baby and my heart melted again....

@Lampel- THANK YOU for posting that Instagram pic of LJG (in casual wear in shorts etc). that casual look fits him perfectly! He looks fresh and masculine!

Perhaps @lisethvr or @patoi- you can help me with this query.  Not long ago I saw a post that LJG was nominated for a Daesang...I became really excited about this and I was just about to start jumping up and down with joy but then I immediately saw that it wasn't true, I think they were just speculating.   Where can I see a legitimate list of nominees?  I saw that as a small consolation at least Wang So & Hae Soo have been nominated for "best couple" in the SBS Awards (but I'm not even dreaming that they will win, because most likely they will give this award to the power couple - LMH & JJH from LOTBS).  Don't get me wrong I started watching LOTBS and it's lovely and I like LMH & JJH but WS & HS will always have a special place in my heart.

I would die of happiness if LJG was at least nominated for a Daesang, even if he didn't win. I just want him to feel validated for his acting because he always puts himself down and thinks it's his fault when a drama doesn't succeed... We'll always support you LJG!!!

  5. @akinahana89- OMO OMO!!!!  I only saw last night the video Fan Project you prepared! How did I miss THAT before?! What an incredible and awesome job you have done! I am in total awe! It is PERFECT! Thank YOU so much and I am so so grateful for your efforts and a huge thank you to all the people that sent their pics in.  I was so happy that the Australian contingent was represented too!

I teared up watching that video and it totally warmed my heart. Has it really been posted on the SBS website????  I have to check it out!  I just pray that the actors have seen it by now and feel somewhat vindicated.

By the way - I am NOT surprised that I missed the post about this before - this thread moves so quickly lol.  I logged in last night, went to sleep, went to work and when I checked it after work - it had 5 new pages lol!

  6. @MAROSA_JIN- OMO - I literally choked on my coffee this morning when I logged in and had to catch my breath when I saw that first shirtless pic you posted ...be still my heart! WHOA!!  You have to give us a warning lol... poor @cedarwood also "died" because of the same pic... ;)!

@patoi- that pic with the baby... I died again but this time from cuteness overload... he's holding that baby so expertly! I also like his hands, they are very manly, I melted into a puddle of mush...

Reading the comments on LJG's hair and clothes... Yes... I do want to shoot LJG's stylist at times.  I am not crazy about some of the things I've seen LJG wear (mind you, this could be his own style too).  My absolute favourite outfit for him is from the Cosmopolitan photoshoot they did for  SHR - the one where he's wearing a black shirt, grey pants and just a stylish watch (I am referring to promo pics with IU when he's holding her to him).  I am a firm believer in "less is more" when it comes to clothes, for both men and women.  He looks amazing and stylish in that.  I would post that pic but I am always panicking about breaching copyright and what I can and can't post...This is what I wanted "Wang So" to wear when he met up with Hae Soo in the future... but we all know how that went...

In relation to his hair I agree that longer hair suits his face so much better (seriously, the "Wang So hair" is  my all time favourite...) but I don't mind him with short hair either, for example, the style in @patoi's avatar and I totally loved his hairstyle in the Moon Lovers Press Conference.  Perfect.

I imagine that LJG probably hates it when we discuss his looks or clothes lol (forgive us LJG-ssi! - but we can't help ourselves and we promise that just because we talk about your hair/clothes/looks - it does not detract in any way how we feel about your awesome acting)!

On a more serious note, putting his looks and clothes aside, I read the article that @lisethvrposted (thank you!)  about our boy blaming himself for the SHR low ratings. I know I've seen the same article few times and people have discussed this already but I  really wish the poor boy would stop beating himself up about it. I wish I could meet him JUST to tell him how much he is loved and appreciated for his role in it. One comment that really impressed me in that article is when they asked him what he would do if he was involved in a "real life love triangle" and he said he would step back because "what's yours is yours".. OMG, I died again... this is exactly my philosophy in life as well.  It's comments like these that makes me like him even more.  On a side note and as a bonus - I was chuffed to discover we share the same blood type... (LJG - anytime you need a blood transfusion:D!).

  7. Thanks @lisethvr - for these cute pics of LJG with his doggies!!  A man that loves animals gets an instant approval from me!

Also....I know this is a totally inappropriate comment for me to make because I'm fairly new here and to LJG but gosh, I really wish I could swap places with Kabi in that instagram pic. Lucky Kabi ... @cedarwoodand @antoniaclamens- I am sure you won't think badly of me for saying this (I hope!) :P.

@antoniaclamens - you are in good company!  I was really impressed with LJG in Moon Lovers and plan to watch some of his other dramas. My biggest surprise was that when you watch LJG in BTS - he is so bubbly and so much fun BUT when you watch him act - he has this incredible presence and intensity about him that just mesmerised me.  I was very impressed with his acting (apart from just swooning :D!).

@willenette- hello my girl!!!!  So nice to see you here! You really know everything about everyone!  As you can see I have found a way to appreciate many k-actors and many kdramas (since my introduction to kdramas 3 years ago!).  I am still not bored of watching them and love discovering new dramas to love.  It's so lovely to know you are still around :D

  8. WHOA! This thread really does move at a breakneck speed and so many pages YAY!! Which pleases me enormously - I hope all the actors are aware of this and feel a bit more vindicated!

You have probably all talked about the final episode but I have only watched it this Sunday (trouble with internet AGAIN!) so I have to have my vent lol. Firstly, let me say that I have noticed a trend in all of the kdramas that no matter how the show ends people will always be unhappy.  So far I have been very lucky in that every drama that I have seen has given me some sort of closure and despite people's complaints etc I have always personally found comfort in the finales...that is, until now when I watched ep20 of SHR.

I know I will sound totally childish and I accept this lol... but I desperately needed to have a satisfying ending, something comforting and to give me closure.  And yes for me that meant I REALLY REALLY needed for Wang So and Hae Soo to meet in the future to wipe away all the trauma they have gone through during their entire relationship in the Goryeo era.   Their love was tragic and doomed in so many ways because of the circumstances and time they found themselves in.  So many events that have occurred resulting in tragic events were beyond their control.  As the saying goes, sometimes you have to be "In the right time at the right place".....

The continued comments from Hae Soo that she wished she could have met Wang So at another time without all the other complications and just be free to love him gave me so much hope that they will give us this and of course Wang So's last comment that he will "find her".   I wasn't greedy, I just needed 5-10 seconds of them meeting and looking at each other without speaking a word and I would have been so happy.  Instead the last scene we got was of WS giving HS a piggyback ride which was cute but so missplaced, it didn't belong there.  I would have been happy for it to serve as another flashback but not to end the show.  In fact, for me the time between WS & HS once he became the King is not the time I want to remember.  Both of them had to endure so much, for different reasons.

You should have seen me staring at my TV in disbelief when the show ended. I was in such denial and I was so sulky that I immediately thought that surely the international version will have a proper ending of them meeting... it was 3.30am but I sat and watched the whole episode again (the international version) but it ended the same and my heart was not appeased...

What made me furious was when I read some comments that apparently LJG filmed some scenes wearing modern clothing (or was that just LJG teasing us lol...). If that's really the case, if they really filmed it and the PD or Producer decided not to show it.... then I will have truly murderous intentions towards them lol...

Also, when I logged in today I saw some pics of "missing scenes" (ie. "someone" handing a crying HS a handkerchief?) - is this for real? Honestly, I need to see an ending like this more than I need oxygen lol....

BTW - I'll have not choice but to write some fanfic to give myself some closure lol... It could go along the lines of HS bumping into WS in the gallery who happens to be visiting there with some members of his family on a family outing.  They didn't know why but they were  all drawn to the Goryeo exhibit.......WS (he could be a kindergarten teacher in this lifetime for something totally different lol...) introduces HS to his mum and dad (King Taejo & Court Lady Oh.  Court Lady Oh would smother WS with affection and fuss over him).  We could have Eun with Soon Deok and their kids giggling and running around the museum being totally naughty....Baek-ah with his wife Woo-Hee.... Jung with a girlfriend who'll be crazy about him .....etc.... etc....lol....  I would have loved to seen them all looking modern and trendy.  Even the "evil" characters could be re-invented to show that if they were living in another century with different opportunities they could've stayed decent and kind.  I know that an ending like that would have been totally unrealistic, pathetic and cliched lol but I don't care I'm a sucker for happy endings, pathetic as they may be lol...

Just to end this rant - let me say that I've read a lot of your comments and to people who have enjoyed the ending we got, I really admire you all for being good sports and for accepting this ending as open-ended. Good on you for not being a whinger like me lol...my only hope is to buy the DVD Director's cut and pray I will find some closure in some deleted scenes!

On a last note - thank you to all the actors for all of their hard work on this drama.  We loved this show, with flaws and all...and it will be a long time before we forget about WS & HS....

  9. Hello everyone! It is my first time on this thread :). I am doing a post to show my support for this amazing drama! I don't care what anybody says in Korea or that ratings are low. I am watching this show from Australia and I am crazy about it! Lee Joon Ki has blown my socks off with his portrayal of Wang So and IU has grown on me as Hae Soo. I am totally invested in all characters. This is probably my first tragic drama where I know I will cry buckets at the end :tears: but I'm in for the long haul!  I've been a SoSoo shipper from beginning. I love the OST and even the instrumental music is so beautiful and fitting.

I confess I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the PD, I've seen his "The Winter The Wind Blows" and "It's Ok, That's Love".  I will always love the PD for giving me some incredible memorable scenes from SHR like Wang So unmasked in the bathing scene in Ep2 (I died!), the jail scene and the rain scene in Ep11 (OMG - my heart was in my throat!), but sometimes his scenes look a bit "over-acted"? (I've noticed that in TWTWB and IOTL as well, but hey, nobody is perfect!).

I only felt brave enough to venture on the last page of the thread as I just caught up to Episode 18. Otherwise the people who know me, know how much I hate spoilers and to see stills of upcoming episodes lol.  Because I never watch previews or read spoilers I was probably the only person on the planet who was genuinely surprised that Yo was alive lol AND I didn't know when the kissing scenes were coming which made for some amazing surprises and experiences for me! Every scene unfolds before your eyes, it's amazing to watch a drama that way :D.  However, I loved checking out old pages of this thread and feasting my eyes on amazing gifs you have all created (thank you @briseis!).

I hope that after the show has ended we can all post a list of our most memorable/fave scenes.. I have never watched a drama before as it's airing so I would love an opportunity to do that once.

  10. Hello everyone! This is my first time on this thread! I had to post something to show my support for Lee Joon Ki and Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Maybe it wasn't successful in Korean but it is a true international success.  I am watching this show from Australia and I totally LOVE IT!

I have never watched any of LJK's dramas before and I can't believe what I have been missing.  He is an excellent actor.  He is so nuanced. I have A LOT of favourite scenes from SHR but one that really impressed me (I have rewatched it hundreds of times) is in SHR in Episode 2 when Wang So is bathing without his mask and Hae Soo sees him for the first time [@MonaYs your Avatar!!]. The way LJK portrayed being vulnerable just before lashing out at HS was absolutely mesmerising. He was so powerful in that scene. I was a goner after that lol and unable to turn away since then. And of course THAT jail scene and rain scene... I can go on and on lol...

He is so beautiful - @Rose34 that photo you posted of him from the Singles photoshoot, wearing a coat, pink jumper and with his eyes closed, OMG , I can stare at him all day!

And @cedarwood- I really loved him in that mask and with that hair!! Your banner reminded me how much I miss that hair and that mask. I know that's very shallow of me to say lol (I just finished watching Episode 18 of SHR).... And is it wrong that I was swooning when watching him ride horses, galloping and just holding on with one hand....I don't have words!

Have you been following LJK for long? Should I watch him next in "Arang and the Magistrate" or the "Gunman in Joseon"?

  11. @ilwoo_aein- thank you so much for starting this thread! If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have even known that LMH and JJH are going to star in this drama!

Everything about this drama is exciting and worth waiting for - both actors whom I love (they already look so beautiful together!), the writer whose work I am familiar with and enjoyed and the Director who directed LMH so brilliantly in City Hunter!!  I will try not to have too many expectations but I know myself well enough to know that I will be counting the months until the show starts.

And it's so good that both LMH and JJH are experienced actors and I am sure they will be able to deliver an amazing TV show for us and support each other during filming. It will be a first drama for JJH since her baby and the last drama for LMH before his army duty. The story of the Little Mermaid (not the Disney version but the original story by Hans Christian Andersen) had a profound effect on me when I was a little girl because of its tragic ending so I am really curious how they will tackle this version.

I understand the show will premiere in November - well my birthday is in November and I cannot think of a better birthday present lol :D

  12. I realise that probably no one visits this thread anymore which is understandable as the show finished so long ago BUT nevertheless I have to leave my mark here! I just finished watching City Hunter last week for the first time and totally fell in love with it! The action, the mystery, the romance, the OTP & OST - all amazing!  And how adorable was the bromance between YS and Ajusshi! So heartwarming! Even if the show wasn't perfect I don't care. I liked it immensely.

I have only seen Lee Min Ho in Faith before (which I really enjoyed) BUT it wasn't until I saw him in City Hunter that I finally understood what all the fuss was about and why he is so popular.  He was fantastic in it.  The PD brought out the best in him here.

It's one of those dramas that will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks @leeminhosny for all these cute gifs - when I looked at he earlier pages of this thread a lot of the links and pics don't work anymore so it was a treat for me to see these ones! As somebody once said here "this show deserves to be gifed!".

  13. @elenskivios38- thank you!! I am so sorry! I meant to reply to you after I read your post few weeks back but I obviously got distracted and forgot all about it! Park Se Young! YES!!! She was brilliant! I absolutely loved her portrayal of Noguk and in fact... please don't shoot me but in the first episodes I would have gladly shipped Choi Young and the Queen - they looked so beautiful together! But before anybody starts yelling at me - of course I absolutely loved the Choi Young & Eun Soo relationship as much as Gongmin and Noguk.

@leeminhosny- thank you for the gifs - very cool! Whenever I start watching a drama (few years after everybody has finished lol!) I am always appreciative of people still posting pics and gifs for us newcomers :):)!

  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM SOO HYUN SSI !!!!!!

I will be the Australian representative today!!!  On behalf of your Aussie fans wishing you, health, joy, success and love!!

I know KSH is always very busy with work but I hope he has a special person in his life that he can share all of his success with.  I hope our KSH will never feel lonely and will always stay happy (I love seeing him smile!). :D

  15. @ilwoo_aein- thank you! You know I cannot stay away from this thread too long lol... Thank you for the Beanpole Lunar New Year message vid. I just love listening to him talk! He looks so youthful and I love him in blue colour ....and even though he doesn't have DMJ hair I don't mind him looking like that.  I wonder how he will transform his appearance for REAL.

@willenette- I obviously missed some previous posts so please forgive me for asking about something that you have probably already covered but what do you mean they are restructuring YFAS episodes (is it for Chinese viewing?).

@yangxu- looking through the last few pages of the thread thank you for posting some old pics of KSH - even though they have been posted before - it's nice for new fans to see them.  I've only started liking KSH last year so it's always lovely for me to see old pics and vids of our golden boy!

  16. Hello again everyone!  Thank you everyone for the great posts and pictures.  I always enjoy coming here and seeing the beautifulness that is our KSH!  And I agree that KSH lost some weight (from the recent pictures!) and his face looked a bit gaunt - I wonder if it's due to the stress of filming (long hours on the REAL set etc) OR it's part of his character?   I hope they are looking after him well on the set!

  17. Hello! I'm not sure if anyone still reads this thread but I have only just finished watching FAITH (the last episode) yesterday! OMO!  This is the first time I've seen this show and I'm not even sure what made me watch it in the first place but I am so glad I did!  I was shocked when I came to this thread to see that it is over 4,500 pages long!!  Wow! The series finished so long ago so it obviously left  an impression on a lot of fans for the thread to continue for so long despite the series ending in 2012!

Because I only saw the final episode yesterday I'm still under the impression of the ending! I can't stop thinking about the series.  OMG! I was sooooooo happy it was a happy ending!!!!!  What a lovely surprise because I expected the worst!  I never read any spoilers about the show (I never do) so I had no idea what was in store but I was so delighted that Eun Soo and Choi Young were not separated or killed off but were reunited in the end! Woo Hoo! What a beautiful love story!! I finished watching the episode at 4.00am and I had the biggest smile on my face lol.

I admit that I wasn't very impressed about the directing in the show  (but I only found out now that the Director has died in 2013 so out of respect I will not criticise him).  I loved a lot of characters in the series - obviously Choi Young and Eun Soo and their love story but I also loved Gongmin and Noguk and shipped them as well!  Lady Choi was phenomenal and I loved all the Woodalchi! OST was great as well and I can't wait to watch all the MVs from the show!  I love reading recaps and reviews as well. And even though I have other favourite dramas this one will be very special to me as well!!  Has anybody bought the Director's Cut DVDs?  Were there any important deleted scenes that I can find out about?  For example in You From Another Star (which I LOVED) apart from the ending shown on TV there was an extended ending which was fantastic so I was wondering if there were some important scenes in FAITH that were deleted etc?  I guess all the answers about the show are in this thread but I think it would take me a couple of years to read it all it is so huge lol...

  18. Happy New Year everyone!

Congratulations to Soohyun for winning the Daesang! :D He has won so many awards now - that I wonder where he keeps them all!

By the way - I love baby in that military style cap (during the REAL script reading)!  Maybe it's his "lucky" hat? He always wears it to script readings and then wins a lot of acting awards so maybe it really does bring him good luck lol... :D

  19. @swingbaby- I could kiss you! You captured exactly what I was thinking! Especially the comments that KSH is "not blinded by fame or money" and that's why he is willing to take on the role of a villain unlike a lot of the "pretty boys" actors who would never risk tarnishing their "perfect" image.  That's exactly what I was trying to say (but you said it better lol) when I said in my post that "risk taking" is baby's best quality (which I love immensly) because it proves he cares more about acting than just making money from CFs and  hero-type roles (even if we do love him in those roles, myself included).  I thought it was adorable when you said you want him to play a "cold hearted villain to the end" lol. Good on you for being so supportive of KSH and in believing in his acting abilities.  I remember in "Secretly, Greatly" there are scenes where Ryu-Hwan is cruel and cold hearted with Hae-Jin when he was a child (the scene when he stabs him in the leg), I remember thinking that KSH was SO GOOD in that scene  that I had goosebumps so I agree that he will play a villain very well.  Thank you for making me feel better about the Director. I hope you are right and that he will make KSH shine in that role. Whatever happens with that movie and however it turns out KSH has my support :D

  20. @yangxu- I still don't think that we need to worry about this.  I think when they said they needed an actress "to reveal more than normal" - I think they were just referring to nudity (some actresses are never prepared for any nude scenes etc) and not because they were planning to do a "rape" scene.

My personal opinion is that KSH will play a character in the beginning who is ambitious, ruthless and unscrupulous (I wouldn't be surprised if his character even beats up some other gangsters) but in the end I think Jang Tae Young (his character in REAL) will become someone we like. KSH has a way of "inhabiting" his characters in such a way that we end up loving them.

Thanks Moniw 18. I am/was having difficulties again in posting his pictures since yesterday. Will try again later.

I am actually quite worried about REAL. Will that show affect his image? To me he is an honest and upright gentleman with wicked jokes now and than. He is perfect in my eyes. How if in the movie, he raped somebody? For sure he can act out the raping scene realistically. How am I to take that? I probably will wait for feed back from you friends before deciding whether to watch that movie"

lately all other movies are doing well in the country. I am nervous for him now. Will REAL be up to expectations? What can we fans do?

Hi @yangxu- can I just ask you something first? I know that English is not your first language so I think this was an innocent mistake - you used the word "rape" in your post.  The word "rape" is mostly used to describe a very violent sexual act without consent against a person.  I am pretty certain (like 100%) that KSH will NOT be making a movie where he is "raping" somebody.  I think you probably meant the possibility of KSH being in a "bed scene"? (it's probably a better more "gentle" description).  It's true that we don't know yet what the script will be like and what the movie will be about and whether KSH will have a "bed scene" or not.  I understand that you might feel uncomfortable about it and perhaps you should wait to decide if you want to see it.  We are all different in that regard.

I trust KSH and I'm very proud of our boy that he likes to take on different challenges and different roles because he wants to become a better actor. To me that's his best quality and I love this about him.  I mean if it was up to me I would only have KSH play romantic roles but this way he would would never improve his acting if he always did the same thing lol. I am excited for KSH because no one is forcing him to make this sort of a movie (playing a "villain") and HE is the one who wanted to do it.  KSH wants to be a serious good actor and doesn't want to be considered as "just a pretty boy" who does romantic roles. I am sure KSH hopes that we, as his fans, will accept this.  I hope the general public in Korea will also accept this.

I am more worried about the Director who will direct REAL - because script and actors are very important BUT if the Director is not good he can ruin the entire movie. Good Directors are vital because they can either bring out the best in an actor or waste their talent. I would give anything for Jang Tae-Yoo (who did You From Another Star) to direct REAL - because this way - even if KSH would have a "bed scene" I would trust him to do it tastefully and beautifully.  I don't know anything about the Director who will do REAL so that worries me the most because he better not waste KSH's talent! :tears: AND also I don't want the "investors" pushing their products and having too much control over the script. Those are my main concerns.
