@Kris Coko-wow, things move fast here at times lol... it feels so outdated replying to your lovely post a week later but I'm going to do so anyway lol.
Firstly, in relation to your comments that you personally chose the pic of GD yourself for the "idols with the killer stare" list, it just proved to me that YOU should be in charge of ALL GD pics! You always pick the most scrumptious and enticing GD photos that I can't stop staring at, you go girl!! I love your taste. Thanks for THAT gif too...it is legendary! I am sure I said it before but that's my fave GD from the 2014/2015 era

Secondly, in relation to the story about GD's stylist and TOP's Manager getting married, to be honest for the past few days I've been trying to locate the exact page where I saw the post about this and for the life of me I couldn't find it! I saw it a month or two ago? I reckon it was on the BB thread BUT it could've been a very old post or one of the new ones as I was jumping between pages. I don't remember. The post just said that band members sent a flower wreath to the wedding with a caption that said something hilarious like "Congratulations on your marriage, In the future dating between members of the same company is prohibited" lol.. Boys are known to have a sense of humour. So I don't know if they got married recently OR years ago because it could've been an old post. I would love to know more because I thought it's an adorable story. I wonder if GD's stylist was a woman or a man and same for TOP's Manager. It would've been so cute for GD and TOP to observe the blossoming romance...I can picture already scenarios like TOP's Manager telling TOP "Uhmm we have to visit GD again and discuss the next fashion shoot with his stylist....." and then making googly eyes when they saw each other
which of course GD and TOP would have seen. So cute. @xtlover15-maybe you know more about this story?
Thirdly, OMG, Kris did you see a close up of GD's hands in the latest pics from the fan meet? No nail polish so it was proof that he really stopped chewing his nails!!!! I have never seen him with "normal" fingernails before and I've seen LOTS of his pictures by now. You were right my girl when in one of your recent posts you said you thought those were his real nails! I confess I had my doubts but you were spot on. I just hope he's not like me, for example, I would grow my nails and have pretty hands but then if I was doing something stressful at work I would start biting my nails and they would be gone in a day, ouch!
Does anybody know when the tickets will be released for the rest of the world tour?

@Kris Coko-OH MY! That list of idols with a "piercing gaze" is VERY impressive! I mean, there are some seriously gorgeous men on that list... My eyes hurt after staring at the pics for too long lol
and that pic of GD (from ZUTTER MV) YEEEEESSSSSSS!! LOVE it SO much. I am so glad they picked it because it really does capture perfectly that "dangerous/alluring" stare of his that makes you go weak at the knees... SO happy GD is on the list... I think I would have started a riot if he wasn't on it!
It reminded me of that vid when GD took off his sunglasses at the Chanel show and everyone went gaga lol.. I know this is old but he looks mighty fine here ...
Going back to GD coming to Australia, don't worry Kris, even if I did happen to be at the gallery and by some weird chance GD happened to be there, I swear that I would never approach GD (because I would be dead & hyperventilating on the floor lol). Just kidding, I meant what I said about respecting people's privacy (everyone who knows me from SOOMPI knows that I have been saying this for YEARS), I may fangirl my actors or singers but I don't believe in hounding them like animals and I abhor fans that do it. GD will have such a gruelling schedule that he will need some "alone" time to unwind. BTW I know everyone loves Sydney but Melbourne has a very contemporary feel to it and it will suit GD perfectly (provided he gets at least a day off)!
BTW knowing how much you love GD and his metallic nail polish lol I thought of you recently when I came across a pic of TOP & GD sporting matching metallic nail polish (!). So awesome they did it together! It was an old pic where GD had long blonde hair. I tried my hardest to copy that pic to post it here for you but it didn't work, ouch! Unfortunately, I am not as clever or talented as you when it comes to these things lol
I know this is random, but does anyone here know how old is the BB stylist? I think her name is Ji Eun (she's pictured here with GD in that instagram post and she's at the Chanel show in the YT clip above). I saw somewhere on this thread that GD's stylist married Top's Manager. Is she the one they are referring to? Somehow I don't think so because I think Ji Eun is the entire band's stylist. If GD has his own stylist (maybe his stylist is the one we should shoot for some of his outfits lol) and frankly I was surprised that GD even has a stylist. I thought he makes all the fashion choices himself, although in his case I suspect his stylist would be someone to assist him rather than make all the decisions for him.
@xtlover15-I cannot believe how adorable little Jiyong was (I am referring to that pic of him in a "fresh" singlet), he couldn't have been more than 6 years old in it and he already knew how to strike a pose lol!

@WendyHo-So happy you have the tickets! Wow! You can just relax and wait for the concert! And @shoppingobsession-don't disappear so quickly after just one post lol, we love the company and the excitement of GD's upcoming tour! I'm thrilled for you too that GD is coming to Canada! If you read my previous posts you would see that I also very seriously and crazily contemplated going to SK to see GD in concert lol...
@Kris Coko-your reactions are always so heartwarming!! Sorry about a big post but I wanted to cover your previous comments in this big one lol, here we go in no particular order:
As to travel distance to the concert we are in a similar boat, in that I will also have to travel about 700kms to see GD, BUT that's nothing compared to if I had to travel to South Korea for a concert! I will probably go to the concert in Melbourne (I used to live there but not anymore), I am not sure yet if I will travel by car or fly there. And Jiyong-ssi if you are reading this
Melbourne has got EXCELLENT Art Galleries which you should visit ...I might just accidentally inspect some art while I'm there ummmm .
On a more serious note, do you think GD will fill all these seats internationally? And also Kris you were the first one who pointed this out, will GD cope with such a gruelling schedule?!! I am seriously concerned about our baby's health! Looking at the tour dates he will be "on the road" from June to September and he will only have few days to recover between concerts, and he'll be jet lagged a lot of the times. I know he's a seasoned performer but he is human and these concerts will sap all of his strength. By the time he'll get to my country he'll be burned to a crisp from exhaustion and we all remember his collapse during the Seoul concert. I hope he's eating healthy, working out and building up his stamina. I also hope his other BB cohorts will visit and give him a hand at some concerts!
Now, as to your comments about GD and Jennie Kim and the "That xx" MV. First of all I had NO idea that Jennie was 7-8 younger than GD and that she was 15 in the MV. I was shocked. When you watch the "Black" MV with them they look the same age!!! (At least to me). GD always looks sooo young. I know you were put off by the MV because of Jennie's young age (and rightly so) but I wouldn't be that harsh on GD, I doubt he had that much control in who appeared in the MV. As you know Jennie was a YG trainee at that time and even though GD is not a puppet I am certain that it was "suggested" to him that she should appear in the MV to start promoting her. As you know GD was super popular at that time so they would've used him to start promoting Jennie, well before the official Blackpink debut last year. As you probably also know Rose from Blackpink sang "Without You" with him when she was also 14-15 (which is so hard to believe!).
Ohhh, I am so happy you listened to "Palette" and liked it! Yes, I definitely enjoyed the song, IU has a lovely voice and GD's rap was great. As we discussed earlier GD made me genuinely enjoy rap. My fave songs of his are always a combo of singing and rap. My favourite bit in the song - is at the very end of GD's rap where him & IU sing a verse together (it lasts a second and it's easy to miss but their voices join together and it is to die for...I want MORE of singing like that from him).

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!! I have never before seen something in print that made me lose my balance and almost faint... When my eyes fell upon the Schedule and I saw the Australian cities on the World Tour I felt faint and I had to steady myself!!!! I believe there was screaming involved as well!!! I literally cannot believe it!!!!
I went to the yg-life website but I can't find a link to buy the tickets yet? Does anybody know WHEN they will be released??? Imagine if I went ahead last time and spent thousands of dollars to see GD in Korea and then I would find out he was flying to Australia lol... Mind you, it would have been lovely to see him in his home country too and South Korea is on my bucket list!
@Kris Coko - YOU HAVE TO GO TO HIS CONCERT TOO! An opportunity like this will never ever happen for us like this again!
I am literally the happiest person on the planet right now - Ok... WHEN I have the tickets in my hand I will be the happiest person on the planet lol... !

@Kris Coko-wow, things move so fast at times on this thread (which is good!) that by the time I get to respond to one thing everyone has moved on lol. Ok, firstly I love your passion for GD's painted fingernails lol, I think I confessed once that I also succumbed and started wearing metallic nail polish or similar to work as my secret attribute to GD. Also, I have noticed that when I paint my nails I don't bite them as often so maybe that's GD's secret plan lol. He does have such beautiful slender fingers that it would be nice if he stopped chewing his nails so that his hands would look a bit nicer. Going through all old GD pics and MVs I can see he's been a "biter" forever!
i have definitely checked out pg 754 after your post and YESSSS those Refrigerator pics are soooooo cute! The selfies with the chefs were adorable and that pic you mentioned of GD with his arm around Don just gave me warm fuzzies! I love them both so much! I have bookmarked that page so that I can keep coming back to it :).
Thanks for the info on Jennie Kim (wish I could watch that bit you described of GD & her!). I have first seen Jennie with GD in his "That XX" MV. Jennie is a stunning girl, no doubt about it. I haven't watched any Blacpink vids yet but yes I have heard of them.
I have now listened to IU's song "palette" featuring our boy and I really like it. It's a lovely song, I've been humming it all day. I love GD doing collabs like that. I won't mention more because I remember vaguely you don't like spoilers? So I will just "zip it" until I know you heard it etc.. ;).

@Kris Coko- your comments here always make my day! I have to say that I will NEVER EVER get bored of looking at the pics of GD from the Please Take Care of My Refrigerator show! The pics you posted are sooo adorable!!! (The one with him with his hands folded behind his back like a kid while chatting to Don...so CUTE!) AND may I just say that the link you provided (crediting those pics) is also priceless as I uncovered a whole new BIGBANG site (I haven't come across this one!) with goodies and pics!! BLESS!!!! (So Sorry for being so slack with my PM, it's coming....).
BTW SO happy to see him in a recording studio, maybe that scruffy/manly look is a sign of more serious GD and his album will reflect this? I literally cannot wait for his new songs/song (I am not greedy, I will take anything!). I already decided that even if I won't like the song initially I have hope that it will grow on me. It has been the case with so many of GD's songs now. For example, the song "BLACK"... I have tried to listen to this song on numerous occasions and somehow I couldn't push past the first minute or so and now yes, you guessed it, I love it a lot and it's my "song of the moment". Once again, it were the meaningful, sad and dark lyrics that made me appreciate this song. Also, what made me enjoy this song, once I listened to it in full, was when I heard the very last verse when GD sings "Fade Away" about 4 times. OMG his voice is so different, husky, deep, sleepy-sexy all at the same time that frankly I could have the entire song made up of just that verse lol. I confess that because his voice sounds so different (when he is singing that particular verse) that I was convinced someone else must be singing it! It goes to show that GD's voice IS very versatile and I hope he will use that versatility in his new album.
BTW The Black song has 3 different versions (Korean version feat. Jennie Kim, English version feat. Sky Ferreira and Japanese version feat. Park Bom). At first I was a bit mad that I couldn't buy the Korean version from itunes and only the English version was available but I bought the English version anyway and I totally changed my mind. Sky's voice is so beautiful and mellow and perfectly suited that I enjoy both the Korean and English versions equally. I understand that it was CL from 2NE1 who introduced Sky to GD and suggested she features in the English version. Jennie Kim's voice is also perfect for this song as well.
There are many "live" versions of this song as there is no official MV but this one is probably my fave as he looks delicious in it!
*** I am aware that to long time fans these type of posts are boring as it's old news and old songs lol but but for us newbies discovering GD bit by bit is something I am enjoying very much
. Good example of this is when @KimJongKookiedid a post about BB "Cafe" song and GD's "Window" which maybe I wouldn't have listened to if not for her posts.....it has been weeks now and I'm still enjoying these songs SO MUCH!!!! ***

@Kris Coko- Here's the link for the YT (it's only very short but that's the only vid I know this scene from). The very first time I saw this vid I was actually upset because I didn't want GD looking like he came from the battlefield when he went near his fans! BUT then I realised that probably (hopefully) no one would hurt him on purpose but rather by accident as the fans were reaching out to touch him. Personally, as much as I am fangirling someone I would never "grab" them or be rough with them but perhaps when you have 60,000 crowd it's unavoidable etc....
My friend told me that apparently he does this a lot (goes into the crowd), because he feels that's the least he can do for people who lined up and waited for him and travelled long distances etc...(which makes him such a sweetheart!). You can tell his security people are NOT happy about this lol. Have a look at the bit when GD is "shooshing" someone out of sight, I bet it's probably in response to either his Manager or Security people giving him hand signals to get out of there!
*****I like his latest instagram pic so much more than the previous one! And look at those lips!
BUT yes, he is looking thin, didn't even CL make a comment in her instagram that he should stop losing weight? I think I should share my ice cream with GD he definitely needs to eat some ****

@Kris Coko-I am soooooo happy that GD's tickets sold out so quickly! I know this sounds funny considering I haven't got a ticket myself lol but nevertheless I was super proud that our baby still has "IT"! For the record, on the day when they were selling the tickets I got home at 8.40pm (late night work & shopping) and quickly jumped on the YG site but when I clicked on the section for "foreigners" to buy tickets there was a message that the next release will be on 20 April, which means they obviously sold the first lot of tickets and they are releasing them in batches.
Oh yes @xtlover15 and @Kris Coko-that famous vid of poor GD getting tended to due to scratches sustained from interacting with his fans! I would like to think that he got those scratches by accident as usually girls have longer fingernails so it can happen easily! I agree Kris that his skin looks so "pure" and soft, its enviable!
I love the gif of GD playing with his kitty! It's so cute to see GD happy and relaxed and enjoying some downtime with his pet.
I am pretty sure that in this pic from Elle photoshoot its Iye as a kitten? (how do you pronounce the name?). BTW I confess that this pic is my iphone screensaver lol... I love it so much! I always love GD in coats and jumpers, he always looks amazing and the fact he's cuddling a kitten makes me melt into a puddle of mush! No doubt I will get into trouble for posting the pic (I always worry about credits?).

First of all OMG @xtlover15-I didn't know you went to BB Concerts TWICE!!! I am soooooo jealous and proud of you at the same time!! Do share some stories, did you love it or were you disappointed? (probably not disappointed if you went twice!).
@Kris Cokowelcome back!! I have sent you a PM last night to this account. I hope you won't have any more problems logging in etc. Now, on the subject of the concert tickets, if I am converting the money properly from Won into Australian dollars then the tickets at $128 are really not that expensive. AND may I point out Australian dollar has been really low for a while which makes it more expensive for me if I want to order anything in USD ouch! BTW last year I bought some tickets as a gift for my parents to see Andre Rieu and I paid $300 for 2 tickets, so that's why I think it's probably an average amount at AUSD$128. My friend told me "meet & greet" tickets can range between $500-$800! But I still don't understand how the "auction" works? I have never purchased tickets like this. BUT ticket price is one thing, ticket I can afford easily BUT for me the air fares, accomodation and also taking time off work is another issue....if I had a million dollars then of course I would go there in a heartbeat but the more I think about it the more I painfully realise it might be out of my reach. If I only I had more time to save and to think about this but I only have until Thursday to make a decision ....

BTW Kris did you say you have never been to a concert before? You have to absolutely go next time you have an opportunity!! You never go to a concert to just listen to songs, because the quality will never be as good as the studio version (mind you BB does an amazing job!) you go to a concert to interact with the artist and for them to interact with you. Experienced entertainers will make you feel like you're the only one there (regardless of 60,000 other fans lol). It's an incredible experience and I have fond and unforgettable memories from every concert I went to.
If I do end up going to GD's concert (miracles do happen!) it will be a first concert I won't understand what is spoken as he will speak in Korean lol but I am certain I would never forget the experience! Regardless of whether I go or not I do sincerely hope all tickets will sell out because it will break my heart and his if they don't! With Daesang's concert & Taeyang's concert so close to each other poor VIPs will be broke!
Now as to the above posts, I thought it was so super sweet when GD wrote a letter to himself in the future and imagines that his "wife & baby are lovely", awww shucks, I actually squealed and had a huge smile on my face when I saw the gifs. My mind just about explodes when I think of him as a husband and a father but he is at the right age to start thinking about it. All his interactions with children are so adorable. He sort of looks sad in those gifs or is it just my impression?
Also from the instagram pic of his apartment, is GD into crystals? Or is he just collecting them for fun etc?

OMG!!! What? The tickets go on sale NEXT WEEK already?!!!
Far out... my head is literally spinning... I only started thinking about going to see GD few days ago and now I will have to make an actual decision by next Thursday...eeeekkkkk! The only thing is - I've converted the 110,000 Won (price per ticket) into AUS$ and it shows as approximately $128, that's actually really cheap... that can't be right?! I heard concert tickets are usually like $500! And how does it work when it's an "auction" - I'm a bit confused by this... any idea Kris?
And oh yes... if I saw GD up close (like your friend) I'm sure I would die but at least I would die happy lol...

First of all what a bummer that you're having problems logging in!! My last PM was rather stupid and of no-consequence so maybe it's an opportunity (or a sign!) not to repeat it lol... I will do a new one perhaps!
Now - to the bulldog clips - see the pics above? See the metal thing attached to his hat? In Australia we refer to them as "bulldog clips" and they are used to clip documents together, so basically they are an item of stationery. I haven't considered that they might be called something else in another country lol OR that they might have a different use other than as an office item. GD doesn't just clip them to his hat but to other items. In the Radio Star interview the clip was attached to his shirt (ugh, I'm trying not to be reminded of his outfit there
). So yeah, trust GD to think "outside of the box" .
Well, to be perfectly honest for now it's just a thought (about wanting to go to GD's concert!). I wouldn't have even considered before a trip to another country to see someone BUT all of a sudden I am thinking "Why the hell not"! I am absolutely kicking myself for not listening to my friend back in 2015 when she was telling me about Bigbang and GD...(the Fantastic Baby MV ruined everything...grrrrr) because they came to Australia and it would have been so simple! I doubt that GD would come here on his own so presumably he will just hold concerts in South Korea. Ever since my k-drama love has began I've always wanted to go to South Korea so for the first time I'm thinking that I should just "kill 2 birds with one stone" and seriously think about this and perhaps plan the trip around the concert?! I would have loved to see the entire band but I can DEFINITELY see just GD on his own (YES PLEASE!
). I'm sure the other BB boys (apart from TOP-sob) would pay him a visit during the concert. I know GD does the same for them by way of support (I love this about the BB "brotherhood"...). I have started saving immediately! (I wonder if international fans will have access to the tickets, surely yes as I have heard how fans travel from abroad for these things etc??). For now I just want to buy one of those BB glowsticks! Any idea WHERE to buy them from.... if I don't make it to the concert I want one at home at least lol!
I laughed about your anti-collab comments lol... Fair enough, and in fact I think I agree with you. I am not a particular fan of some of the collabs he's done before. Then again from past experience some songs that I didn't like initially grew on me, so perhaps I haven't given those songs a proper chance. I guess time will tell what GD will present us with! Not long to wait (super excited and super scared in equal shares!).

As to the recent posts...OMG! Is GD really going to do a concert this year... maybe I should start saving?! My passport is up to date lol... gosh, I might never have such an opportunity AGAIN!....I am literally dying to find out what sort of music he will have in his new album. He seems to be a master of re-invention. He likes to collaborate with other artists whenever he does a solo album so I wonder if we will see any known artists joining him (maybe even that DNCE group?!).
As to the "20 Most Beautiful Men of Korea" list - I must be a true VIP at heart because despite all the genuine pretty on the list I still get upset when GD is down at number 8 on the list BUT my heart is mended slightly because at least our gorgeous TOP is at number 2 - and of course TOP is super gorgeous (I miss him!).
On the last note - you know those bulldog clips that GD seems to pin to his hat and other items of clothing? Well, I work in an office and whenever I use them now I am ALWAYS reminded of GD... sneaky GD, who knew that I will be looking fondly at the items of stationery because of him lol!

@Kris Coko- Wow! So many things for me to comment on! I won't repost the same pics so hopefully you'll know what I'm talking about lol...
Firstly, I couldn't agree more that GD should've kept that fashion style from 2014! (airport pics). Secondly, I see that TOP has got a higher placement than GD in "beautiful male faces" lol.. well, they are both gorgeous and I love TOP too so I can live with this lol. YES, GD is definitely a nail-biter! I've noticed this previously (yep, it takes one to know one as I bite my nails too damn it!)... I suspect they did his nails for the Nike photoshoot lol. Oh yes, I actually started wearing the same silver nail polish to work as my secret hommage to GD lol... I work in a very conservative industry so this is my way of sneaking-in my appreciation of GD and getting away with it lol.
Lastly, in relation to the YT vid I posted of GD-focus performance during the LIES song (SEOUL MADE concert). I actually don't think that it's a "fancam". The quality is way too good for it to be a fancam (in my opinion anyway). The vid looks to me like the official camera work (ie. I suspect they have a camera trained on every BB member during the concert but they edit it afterwards to chose best cuts etc.). Let me know what you think after you watched it?

I found this GD-focus vid and fell in love with it (I bet you have all seen it?). I wish I could buy a DVD from the Seoul MADE concert. It looks so good. (I know 0-10 is coming out next week so that will make me feel better)...
@Kris Coko - if you look closely there is one or two moments where he stares straight at the camera.... it only lasts a second (if you blink you may miss it) but even that one second is enough to make you gasp lol......
YES, I'm glad you share my views about his upcoming album. We will BOTH wait nervously & keep our fingers crossed that it's a success!! At least we're in this together!

@Kris Coko- this is indeed EXTREMELY exciting! It will also be my first time in "real time" waiting for GD's solo album. I wonder whether he'll be releasing MVs to go with the singles etc. Part of me is excited and the other part is worried for him I guess (he's probably also a bit apprehensive how his solo work will be received after the success of his Crooked-era. It's always so hard living up to people's expectations). I am also very curious in which music direction he will go. His fans have grown/matured so I imagine he will take his music to another level? Then again, he keeps getting new fans (just look at me). What sort of songs would you like him to do? I've actually really enjoyed listening to his singing voice (ie. in IF YOU etc) but I also love when he raps, so I would like a combo of both. Either way, I'm in for the long haul. Bring it on GD!.

I know I am commenting late on an old post but I was flicking through old pages yesterday and you both @KimJongKookie and @Kris Coko talked about this song so I decided to listen to it last night and OMG!!! How is it that I haven't heard this song before?! It's a great song and GD's voice!!! It's soooo good when he shows off different range. I want more! Thank you so much for putting me onto this song! After listening to it for about ...uhmmm 20 times in a row I decided I had to have it so I jumped on iTunes to add it to my GD collection and...it's not available! Why oh why?!! Is the iTunes content different in Australia than anywhere else (ie. US?). Is that possible?
AND may I just add that I really enjoyed the Countdown live performance with GD looking all snuggly in that coat, jumper & scarf (yes please to snuggly GD!)..and that hairstyle really suited him too.

WHERE did you get that top gif (where GD is staring right in the camera)! I am only too familiar with the "Let's Not Fall In Love" MV and I have watched the making of the MV as well (which was just as exciting to watch as the actual MV!) but I cannot recall that particular moment. Is there another BTS vid?
You asked if I am familiar with GD and him changing his hairstyles (putting aside the fact that on the first few viewings of BB I kept mixing the boys up because of hair colour lol!)....But after spending weeks and weeks of everything "Bigbang and GD" and looking through numerous fashion styles, hairstyles and hair colours, I came to the conclusion that there is a "GD for every type of girl (or boy!)". This was especially evident in the comment section of the many BB Youtube MVs etc, with people commenting through various years "THIS hairstyle is/was MY favourite for him..." because everyone is different and has different tastes. As such, I can only speak for myself (and this will make me boring....) but I really love him "au natural" with black hair (especially in the "Loser" MV, "We like 2 Party" MV, the 2014 MAMA Awards performing Good Boy etc.. and during the MADE World Tour.). Having said that...I also absolutely love him with orange hair (in the Let's Not Fall In Love, Zutter and Sober MVs). I think he kept that orangy-style for a lot of variety shows and for some of the 2015 MADE World tour (judging from some of the tour clips).
I think that a person's choice of GD's fave hair colour or style has a lot to do with the time WHEN you started fangirling him or the band because most likely you will associate that particular stage with a fond memory etc. And as my first exposure to BB was the MADE album and the MVs that went with it, I think it's only natural for me to like him looking like that. I suspect that another reason why I love that "MADE World tour" black hair era for him is because his appearance gave off that mature, masculine, sexy and "grown-up" vibe, making it easier for me to fangirl him than when he looked like a young boy in his earlier work (gosh, I hope that makes sense). AND I am also very mindful that long time VIPs have grown up and evolved with GD and BB so I thought that look also fits well with the natural age/style progression. I think my least favourite fashion/style for GD are the oversized clothes he wore for the Radio Star TV show in December 2016 and the floral outfit and oversized pants he wore for the Weekly Idol show also in December 2016. BUT he is who he is and you have to give him kudos for that. One comment that I found endearing from him is when he said that even HE gets embarrassed by what he wears at times but he rightly commented that "there is no right answer in fashion" which appears to be true! What about your fave looks/styles for him?
Also, another very weird thing for me is that I am not overly fond of men with make up (in fact I cringed a lot when I got into K-dramas 3-4 years ago and most actors wore very visible make-up not just stage make up but the bright lipsticks etc.),... BUT (and I can't believe I'm going to say this...) I love GD in make up (especially the guyliner...) ...EG, Have you seen his Oppo (?) phone promo pics(?)... very swoon-worthy.... I should add that I love GD with or without make-up.
However, if there's one thing I have learned so far about GD (and Bigbang in general) is that I should just accept the fact that probably by next week or month I might change my mind and like a different style for him (from hair/colour to fashion lol). This boy has taught me to continually contradict myself and my taste. Perfect example of this is the "Crooked" MV and song in general. On the very first listen of the song and the first few seconds of the MV-I didn't think anything of it and wasn't interested. In fact, I think I switched it off and shrugged my shoulders with a "Nah...not for me". Fast forward few days later, it became my most favourite song of his (and still is) to listen to and to watch. I looked up the lyrics and finally "got it". When I finally watched the MV to the end - I was astounded how affected I was by it and how perfectly GD portrayed the seemingly arrogant, rebellious yet totally vulnerable and raw young man. I watched the last few seconds of that MV with a lump in my throat. I remember seeing posts from VIPs telling others to stream the MV but I thought to myself that I don't want to "stream it" because I actually wanted to watch it over and over again... What's the lesson from all of this? Never say "never"

@xtlover15- I LOVE that little vid of GD wrapping the little girl in his jacket because he was mindful she was wearing a short skirt and he would be carrying her and running around with her. I am proud of him for thinking ahead (or proud of his legal team of advising him beforehand of scenarios like that).... IF this thoughtfulness came from him personally then I will just gush...

@Kris Coko& @xtlover15- the "Gdoni best couple" compilation is pure gold! I swear I have played it hundreds of times over because I love it so. Being new to K-pop scene I would be grateful if someone could fill me in on who Don is exactly? I think I've seen him hosting the Weekly Idol with BB but the clips abovsuggest he's had a long collaboration with GD?
Also @Kris Coko- I CANNOT think of any other celebrity who can pull off being "girly" so convincingly the way GD can and STILL remain so damn hot and manly in other instances! For example just look at the pics above from the FM in BEIJING....or the ones from the Netmarble games promos ... I can't even...I'm speechless ... AND I hope this won't make me sound shallow because the most appealing thing about GD is his talent but is this thread the appropriate place to finally mention how amazing and beautiful his eyes are lol? I didn't take much notice before until I saw the Netmarble games close-up pics and seeing that intense gaze of his turned me into a puddle of mush lol
@Kris Coko - going back to your posts about GD and his art...can I just say that it makes me fangirl him even more knowing he spends his money on things like that rather than on really stupid things that some celebrities are known for. I am pleased that when I recently purchased a lot of BB and his music that my money will go towards something that brings him happiness. The only thing I probably wish though is that he didn't post it on instagram as those are expensive art pieces and I will worry about him getting robbed BUT I know he likes to "share" his life with us...

Because of your post, I listened to the song yesterday (starting with the vid from 2015 MADE tour) and it was a case of "love at first sight & first listen". The song is so good and unusual may I add. Why does it happen to me all the time with BB lol? I admit I have been listening to their old material (as you rightly pointed out there is A LOT to catch up on) and there's a couple of old songs I really liked (and bought them) but for me personally, MADE album is IT. Probably because it introduced me to the band and I will always associate this album with how I started loving the band. I bet every other VIP has their own "story" and album they cherish best. I take my hat off to the VIPs who have been there from the very beginning...
AND seriously @xtlover15- I know I said it before but I will say this again THANK YOU for giving us new posts everyday. There's nothing nicer than coming home from work and unwinding with a new dose of Bigbang goodies, pics and updates. I am very grateful!

Far out... my head is literally spinning... I only started thinking about going to see GD few days ago and now I will have to make an actual decision by next Thursday...eeeekkkkk! The only thing is - I've converted the 110,000 Won (price per ticket) into AUS$ and it shows as approximately $128, that's actually really cheap... that can't be right?! I heard concert tickets are usually like $500! And how does it work when it's an "auction" - I'm a bit confused by this... any idea Kris?

@Kris Coko_ you summed it up so well when you said he looks "effortlessly cool"!! That's exactly what I thought too lol...just standing there oozing coolness and sex appeal. I miss my GD looking like this. I confess I haven't embraced his latest fashion trend....
AND I so agree about the bracelets! I have noticed that he wears them so well. I remember seeing him in Happy Together in a bathrobe AND bracelets and thinking "God that boy can even pair up a bathrobe AND bracelets AND look SO good lol". Thanks for pointing out the "jingle" effect! I haven't even thought of that but I will pay attention next time I see him in an interview
