@pixie0622 He does have a very positive and cheerful disposition in and outside of work. I too am surprised he accepted this kind of project when he rarely does reality shows (pro bono too). I admire him more for this ! He went thru some hardships and there were risks involved with this kind of work, especially with the wild animals.. so glad that everything went smoothly. I can't wait to see the whole show.

PD Jo Sung-hyun: during the first shoot, Lee Minho freaked out when he saw a wild boar. But we recently filmed again with the wild boar and Minho won a snowball fight. The boar ran away. Lol.

Didn't pundits estimate him going in March? I do prefer that he goes in quietly without fanfare. The good news is that he's leaving us with the DMZ docu while he's away. Hope either DramaFever or Viki airs the series. @adamfever I will also email both sites to request for LMH's docu.

Who knew Lee Min Ho has been wandering around the world's most dangerous border -Korea's demilitarized zone (DMZ)?
The border between the North and the South Korea isn’t just a line. It’s a strip of land that is 2.5 mi wide on average—hence the name DMZ.
In DMZ The Wild, Lee Min Ho will walk us inside the untouched land that has allowed wildlife to flourish for 64 years.
Lee Min Ho has camped out in a below-20°F weather and seen endangered species like the otters, yellow snakes, seals, and wildcats during his trips to DMZ.
“Lee Min Ho found time to meet with the production team and visit the DMZ in the midst of busy schedule,” his agency said. The actor has devoted a year and a half for this project from October 2015 to March 2017.
Lee Min Ho filmed the MBC documentary pro bono to raise awareness on the endangered wildlife animals in DMZ.
Not anyone can go inside the volatile border, which makes Lee Min Ho’s documentary valuable. The DMZ was built in 1953 after the Korean War Armistice. However, it wasn’t until 2009 when the first civilian photographer could enter the DMZ, according to National Geographic.
DMZ The Wild prologue airs on Apr. 3, 11:10 p.m. KST. The episodes will air in June.

Lee Min Ho graced the cover of the 200th issue of 'Cosmopolitan'.

The actor is the first ever male celebrity to be on the cover of the magazine by himself. Other male celebrities have always been featured as a group or alongside a female model. He went for a dreamy yet chic look for the photoshoot.
In the interview with the magazine, he talked about his recent drama and said, "It's accurate to say my real self is the combination of various characters. According to my mood, I fool around, and sometimes I get more mature than my age. Because I do have a playful side, I was able to act that out naturally by bringing it out."-

Edit: Based on this article, they also counted votes from their Soompi LINE account so I guess that explains why LOTBS didnt get the Bromance award.

Did anyone here watch the whole series on VIKI.com when it was still airing in SK ? Well I was rewatching episode 14 just now --- when HJJ and SC went on their street date. And I noticed that the DDR (dance dance revolution) part of the date was taken out ! I don't know why they did that, but I do remember seeing that part before in VIKI. Good thing ICE uploaded the original video in YT:

Saying that he'll be involved and working with the staff and not just on the narration and that he'll be going in this cold weather it must be harsh. He then said it's with MBC channel and then realized what he just said .. he asked "is it okay to say it?" LOL xD MC Park assured him that it's okay since everyone already knows about the documentary.
I guess he's currently shooting for it. (I thought he's done with it since last May but seems there is more to it) can't wait to see it ^^

I am learning a lot of new things about our boy just by reading your posts. Like I never knew Minomi was LMH's nickname when he was young. And those photos from Sharp -- i think I've never seen those before. Our boy looked so young.
I love seeing old-timers here like @adamfever and @gaeingoh . Hope you guys stick around for the next 2 years when we re-watch LMH's dramas.
@1ouise I loved rereading that DF article on LMH's talk concert in 2016. It sure tells a lot about his character and how humble, charming and appreciative he is when it comes to Minoz. I am proud to be his fan.
@CallieP I haven't seen a video of the whole FM, but here are a couple of long videos from LMH International of the interview and games with fans on Day 1.
