  1. @irilight ---Thank you for the photos of JJH (p.727).  Here it is so obviously the actor himself, NOT Choi Jin Eun!   How marvelously well he uses his face to express  so very many different emotions in this drama, IHAL.  His face, in repose, while still extremely handsome, looks friendly, warm, and very approachable. What fun it must be for such a nice person to have opportunities to "act out" the entire range of human emotions!

And thank you again for being a gracious host here in this forum.  Your posts include responses to each of us!  I have tried it, and it's NOT so easily done!  And NOT as entertaining as when you do it! --- I gave up trying to comment on each post I enjoyed & chose different ways to respond.

When I see how you conduct this forum, I'm reminded of the "Salons" where people were invited to discuss literature, politics, etc.   Sort of like "Book Clubs", but with a "difference". I wanted to mention this, before we are all dispersed.  It's been so much fun!     B)  Comparable to the informal gatherings in "Coffee Houses" of the last century, too.

I liked this definition of "SALON":

"A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste & increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation".

The "Inspiring Host" here has been YOU!             :glasses:                  Thank You!

  2. Hi, Guys!

Just popping back to read posts. I'll probably keep checking in & out for  quite some time ---Based on my prior experience with SLA.  Often members come back to write about an event or a new project of some oh the actors, Writer, Director, etc.  Maybe a connection with the drama and new BTS information about scenes, episodes, all kinds of interesting things.  I'm curious to see each of our actors' NEXT projects.

I think some actors' official (or unofficial) Fan Site can be more informative than I had realised. Depends of the Actor, the fans, & the site!        Yeah, I'm slow to pick up on somethings!  I found that interesting interview with actress on Lee Seung Gi's fan site.  Yoo Ah In's International Fan site was informative, too.  I may start to check out some fan sites from now on!  As long as there not just "Idol fangirl sites"!

    Spoiler

      1.   Lee Seung Gi's "resume" at 29 years of age! --- https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Lee_Seung-gi

      2.   Repeat of interview article: --- https://lsgfan.wordpress.com/2012/05/13/yoon-yeo-jung-talks-well-mannered-actors-and-lee-seung-gi/  Mainly just as an example of how meaningful some actors' "fan pages/sites" can really be! Especially when they have news about projects with other actors.  News about the writers & directors, too.

      3.  http://www.hancinema.net/dear-my-friends-ko-hyeon-jeong-jo-in-seong-to-go-to-europe-91907.html   Just the sheer number of Senior actors gives me hope for a good drama --- & maybe a good forum!  Not yet sure what the drama is about!

      4.   Yoo Ah In --- https://yooahinsikseekland.wordpress.com/    Often articlesabout  the actor's current project are translated on fan sites --- just as we got Eng subs from a JJH fan!

I find that I think about the characters & the drama (& the forum) more often when I'm driving!   A little scary, Hmmm?  No accidents so far!  But I've got to be thinking about something, Right?   Like some of the issues talked about in the forum --- forgiveness, lots of thoughts about love & marriage & divorce & all the ways to communicate!    Really an endless stream of ideas that keep  rolling  around in my head.  Picturing how the characters behaved, how they reacted in each situation , and to each choice in their life (long past, present, & future).

I'm hoping to find a few dramas that I'll like.  Looks like there are more interesting ones soon to come.  Liked several from that blogger's article & made a note to watch for them. Here is one NEW to me & with a few different &  very interesting angles & ways of looking at Korean drama & the entire country!

    Spoiler

      1.  "  "A British woman living and working in Seoul." -- No other information given."   I like the clock & the weather posted on every page! And the feature  teaching some Korean language via short scenes from dramas.

         http://www.dramasrok.com/

Culture & History via a look at various Kings in historical dramas!  http://www.dramasrok.com/category/korean-history-2/

Seriously, this seemed like a very fresh and different approach to "studying" and talking about Korea & Korean dramas/films.  A new approach IMHO.

  3. Saturday --- March 5, 2016 -  Noon.

    Hello, Everybody!

Getting over the "pain" of the drama having ended.  But still reading the forum for all the posts --- Tying together so many of the feelings we have from the total experience.  Talking about some of the questions we've all had  about the storyline and the characters.   http://www.deathreference.com/Vi-Z/Wake.html

So similar to what went on in the "wakes" at funerals in the past ---when people still lived close to the places they were born & raised. See beneath the SPOILER for more info. about a "wake".  Most cultures had something like this to comfort the family.

WOW!... Did I ever get carried away with this topic!

I am enjoying so many posts here , most recently those of @jadecloud --- amazing how you pulled it all together --- Our concerns for different aspects of story, character, & relationships,  as well as our interest in how BTS issues in the "Drama Industry" have effects on a drama's ongoing, live filming as it is. still airing on TV.   And Thank You for your really insightful posts @irilight  &   @lover7         :)

  4. @hibiscus23 --- I was so curious about the drama you mentioned --- And OF COURSE i had to Google it!   Looks very interesting & WHAT A CAST!  I put a bit about them beneath theSPOILER. Need to keep a good supply of drama recommendations t fill the vacuum left from IHAL.

    Spoiler

PS:--- I learned in a different Soompi forum that  "OnDemandKorea.com" is another legal site for dramas, variety shows, etc. ---When the topic of who is doing "legal" subbing of dramas --- Legal subs (KBS on Youtube, Viki, DramaFever) were "lagging behind subs easily seen on many other sites.  Seems very good --- Free with ads =, I haven't decided if they do enough Eng. subbing for me to get the Paid membership yet.

  5. March 3, 20 10:30 AM EST.

    Hi, Guys!

I'm about to rush out to a dental appointment. But so hard to break this "forum habit" --- I'm sure you  all understand, too.   See so many great posts (p.724) but will read them later.

I watched an episode of the drama, "Glamorous Temptation", while having my cup of coffee.  Love it for the actors, the costumes (clothes!), sets (the house is amazing!), all the set accessories, ----ALL the "extras".    "Eye Candy!!!"  And really enjoy seeing the actors do "makjang" drama  --- and they give it all they've got!  And this cast is full of talented actors.   The Plot---Not so great!

Remember Jin Eon's "weasel" secretary --- sits at the desk outside his office, right?  Wonderful "character actor", Jang Won Young (Looked him up in cast list).Steady working actor --- I rarely know their names, but see them with pleasure in many shows.  Working in the media visuals are important.  That's the reality.  I 'm always curious how they find their satisfaction during their careers

So it was fun to see this actor finally playing a role that is a "lead, romantic, admirable hero" ---or at least, "a good 2nd leading man" type in "GT". If you'd like to "compare & contrast",take a fast peep at "Glamorous Temptation" (on Viki), Epi. 39 & start at 20:19 min. --- "Father" gets a background report on the guy his "crazy, wild, but good" daughter is dating.   NOT A WEASEL!

Sorry! --- Gotta run.  Just wanted to share a look at this versatile actor's other roles.  Really. the actors are my main reason for watching this drama.

  6. Just for the fun of it, I Googled "Best Kdrama kisses of the Month".  Where did they all go?  Used to be a regulars feature on some site (forgot which one).

But I found a site with a pretty good list of "Dramas to Watch for in March, 2016).  Yeah! I need help. Still looking around.  Nice short synopsis plus a photo for each drama. And I see some actors and some them that interest me!

For example, "Memory" with the actor, Lee Sung Min,  the senior manager from Misaeng.   Also, Lee Seo Jin, Lee Jin Wook, Rain, and a "baby" but I like him anyway, Jang Geung Suk  (Wonder how he's growing up?)

The end of IHAL left a real vacuum in my Drama viewing.  And It's really not that easy to fill that gap!

  7. as @deandraHow long will this "Post -IHAL" Syndrome last?  I'm asking myself that question.   I 've seen the last episode once .--- And that was long time after it was subbed on Viki. Delaying tactics  --- feared I'd been in tears too much, hated that I wouldn't see them again. They were familiar, like friends and I knew what they'd both been through all this time.

Almost All I know about Epi. 50 is from the forum  -- recaps, photos, video clips,  wonderful Instagrams (videos, stills, English translations,  & LOTS of very brief videos).  Plus all the posts with reactions, quotes, discussions, etc. Spent a few hours going over the Instagrams shared by wonderful  "jijinhee___holic---" --- better than stop-starting with Viki video even!  Then playing the OST.   Most moving for me was Lee Eun Mi singing "The Two of Us",  but the entire album takes me back there again.

Because the video clips in the Instagram are so very brief, I seem to see everything!  And it feels as if  It's all "close-ups"..(My PC is "freezing" --- I'll be brief!)  KHJ & JJH made it "so damn real" I felt like I was seeing a real husband & wife, on any regular day, happy just to be there together --- a sincerely loving couple --- how I would like reality to be for me & others.  And an  "ideal" worth trying to achieve --- and a demonstration of lots  ways to treat each other more kindly and lovingly each hour of the day!

I think it was @deandraluv who suggested the analogy of a roaring campfire, settled down to the glowing embers near the end of an evening. Kind of like the first burning passionate love that settles down to the warmth of a long, happy marriage.  And that's what I think I'll see now in the last episode.  Thank you KHJ & JJH.   (if this video is "too much", I'll fix it!)

EDIT:--- Tried to find a "fire" video with steady, strong embers and intermittent, but pretty frequents, flare-ups of shooting flames (of loving passion, of course!) --- representing the loving warmth of a long, happy marriage!

AND KISSES?     WOW>... OMG... I've been paying close attention since the December "Cabin Kiss".  We saw several BTS videos of the making of that scene. I have been convinced that the GENIUS behind the kisses is the Director.  He is very clear & precise in directing KHJ & JJH. Wish I knew what he said and what he was advising from the background!  But I think he is a real "Romantic" and an Artist when it comes to directing loving scenes between a couple.  He set the mood as well,Telling KHJ how beautiful she was  (Wow!), crew kept low, quiet, very respectful of the actors getting into character, etc.

But he had 2  very talented, mature actors who were exceptionally capable of giving him the scene he asked for!  Actors who worked as an experienced team, too.  Just a "perfect storm" of 3 gifted artists meeting in one drama. kind of event --- And the kisses were truly amazing!

And all done in the very best of taste.       (Lucky Mrs JJH! )

Doesn't any site still post a "Best Kisses of the Week" any more?

  8. @Lmangla --- You should hear Hyun Woo "anti-love/marriage" rant in the very first couple minutes of Episode 2 --- Which played right after  @a15t3's MV (if you "click" into Youtube to watch).   Hyun Woo says "Those who marry for love, die from resentment."   I posted the YT video, instead of writing it out.  But try to watch soon --- my posted YT videos seem to "go to black" after a period of time!  JE teases him about his dating history.

    Spoiler

Hyun Woo talking against marriage and love, etc.  ---all  in the first  2 minutes! ---

  9. @gerrytan8063 --- Thank you so much for clearing up the meaning of "aein", plus the other relationship terms.  "Sweetheart', for example, sounds more like a term I would imagine hearing couples call each other in a TV drama!

It was strange imagining very modest, refined men & women going around using a rather "suggestive" word  --- at least, it is to my "ear".

@jadecloud ---Another lovely, interesting post. Thank you.  And about that "message" --- Administrators never got back to me about it. You may be right---I'm impatient and hit the button a few times, thinking I tapped too lightly! Hope your friend's spirits are improving!  Lucky she has you there to save her a 720 page trip in the forum for "background info."--- Sort of like  having her personal "Siri" ( See SPOILER, ) who can answer all her questions as  she goes throught the drama. (A joke!).

EDIT:--- @Lmangla --- On p.721 you mentioned a few quotes from JE's buddy, Hyun Woo,  reflecting a very negative view of marriage.   He hasn't changed at all since his days pre-SR/JE affair, when he was very vocal on his views about dating, marriage, and love!  I remember he basically stated the marriage was the death of love & romantic feelings.  It would have been interesting to learn what his family was like  &  why did he feel that way.  Maybe just as simple as a failed romance & a major broken heart!   :tears:

  10. @lclarakl ---  Just seeing your post r/t   a post by @ayselluna.    I read the post over a few times.  Can easily be read as a simple statement of how things are.  "Folks just agree to disagree."  Listen to my tale of woe first, please ---My recent  personal online "social blunder".

I am reminded of a post I made in the comment section of IHAL on Viki's site.   I have been remorseful ever since but finally gave up making attempts to apologize.

I agreed completely with a lengthy post about IHAL. So far, so good, right!   Then I decided to be "Oh, So Clever & Funny!"     EX., "You must be Writer Bae!  Visiting us in the comment section!...... blah, blah, blah!   (I think it was funnier than that?). Went over like a ton of bricks!  THUD!    The person interpreted my comment as  an insolent public attempt to make fun of that post.  I felt terrible about it. Others reprimanded the poster for calling me out for my "rudeness". It was awful!  I re-read my post & could see how it looked bad, too.

WHAT DID I LEARN? --- OMG.... I re-learned PLENTY!   Actually, let me read from some notes I made (HONEST!):   From an article about differences between communication online vs in person:  Communication depends on many non-verbal

    communications signals:

    facial expressions

    tone of voice

    gestures

    body language

    eye contact

even the physical distance between us.

Can't find the article now!   Just wrote notes reinforcing to myself how humor doesn't always translate well in print with all those added "signal" missing. I just stopped making matters worse with further apologies.

  11. Before I read p.720 (which looks great!!!), I want to make a few comments regarding some post by our dear @lclarakl.  I could agree with a lot of the views she expressed --- Yes, I thought, that does make a lot of sense and could be actually what happened.  And I felt those first 9 episodes were extremely harsh.  I never fully got over the cruel Jin Eon from those episodes --- no acceptable excuse.

EXCEPT FOR THIS FACT:--- "I Have A Lover" is a made-for-TV-drama written by a Writer acknowledged to very successful in that genre.  So, after those episodes, I accepted that as a reality. and decided to enjoy the drama she would write to develop the themes of "Love, Reset, etc".   Then it worked well for me!   Thinking of it almost as 2 separate dramas ---that's the reality! Another reality is the way most TV dramas are made ---That is, ongoing as they are being shown on TV.  Everybody complains about how hard that is on everyone.  AND everyone realises that changes CAN & WILL be made in response to viewers responses to the most recent Episode.  Scripts HAVE been changed to please the viewers --- and "2nd Lead" suddenly wins the Lady!

Change is coming.  But even dramas filmed prior to being on TV, as was the drama, "Cheese In The Trap",  still problems.can occur.   But CITT cast a lot of light on the way viewer response affects a TV drama's production. The Lead Actor is already exceedingly popular in China (due to other dramas aired). China will only purchase the TV rights if the drama is completed already.  I read all this stuff ---no way I knew it on my own! (See Spoiler)

OK, not a specific example of ongoing changes to a drama still "live on-air",  but I've no time to get a really good example ---Plus, how do you prove that's why changes were made.   But many times a   "2nd lead"  has been changed into the Main Lead & become part of the OTP because that's what viewers wanted!

    Spoiler

The actor receive much criticism for violating the "unspoken" rules of proper behavior among Korean celebrities/Stars.

       1)   http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/113936/20160226/park-hae-jin-is-not-satisfied-with-his-drama-cheese-in-the-trap.htm

      2)    http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/114003/20160229/cheese-in-the-trap-producer-apologizes-to-webtoon-writer-soonkki.htm

More detailed articles have been written --- but I didn't put them in here.

Personally, I think if the Writer had taken the first 9 episodes and continued in that vein --- What would that drama look like, I wondered?   Well, we will never know!  I don't think she could have sold it to a regular major network.   Maybe a cable channel?  Depends how "dark" she would go, wouldn't it.  HK & JE were becoming very violent, lots of  "acting out", the suicide attempt, several attempted murders, one successful murder, etc.  Seol Ri was exceedingly provoking in her behavior towards HK.  We are already looking into bedroom scenes and adulterous behaviors onscreen.    I sincerely think the story would have to be done in a movie.

Bottom line is that I don't know what happened.  @lclarakl made very reasonable  arguments that the Writer may have made changes.  But, in the end, I enjoyed the drama she put on TV.  And loved the actors & the characters as they developed!   THE END.   B)

  12. Tuesday --- March 1, 2016 --- Afternoon.

    Hello, Everyone!

Back again & doing better coping with major, persistent case of  "Withdrawal-From-IHAL Syndrome"!     Stunned !  Was it 6 months? Out into the cold world again?  Not even any tofu?  More like  something richer, chocolate, frosted and very decadent --- Maybe I should buy  a pound box of hand-dipped Buttercreams!!

Picking up with posts from p.718 --- Enjoying your final appraisals and applauses for the Writer, Actors, the entire gang that brought us this drama.  Still sharing interesting insights here, thank you all.

The meaning of the word,  "LOVER".   I saw it translated once as "boyfriend" in Viki  (Hope that's right ---rarely looked to other sites for IHAL). I'm always curious about the differences between languages ( & always a bit embarrassed to "complain" because I only speaks English).   Korean separates "like you" & "love you", right?   I agree with the Eng. def. of "lover" describing an intimate sexual relationship (in or out of marriage) --- does "aein" mean the same ---i.e., the person you love & have intimate sex relationship with?  I see that in @gerrytan8063 's post, the "lover" is also the marriage partner.

My reason for asking all this is because , for me, the word, "LOVER", is just something I could never even imagine tossing around as lightly as this Writer and others have done with dialogue in Korean dramas.Maybe it's because of my generation.  While I'm still here among friends, I thought I would ask and get it cleared up, finally.

@a15t3 --- I'm so disappointed not being able to see your MV!  Blocked here & on YT darn it!  Makes me think SBS plans  a DVD set for later sale!  So stingy of them!     :(

@lover7 --- (Sorry for editing your post)---- In your post (p.719). you speak of Writer Bae's fondness for making parallel scenes. I liked that technique.   and enjoyed finding examples in the drama. But as I read of one scene from Epi. 50 in your post, I was overcome with emotion, as I recalled the scene in my mind's eye! A sweet, tender moment --- so like a moment between a long-married, loving couple!  Suddenly I was all teary eyed!    :tears:    Hit me all of a sudden.  Reminding me of a time I came suddenly upon part of an episode when Min Tae Seok had the phone conversation with his brother --- And Dr. Min asked him "When was the last time you were happy?"        I'm giving credit to Writer Bae's talent for writing dialogue that touches the heart!    Within the drama she made, even a single scene out of context, can still be so powerful.

BS character is not so realistic. JJH tasks to act JE are much difficult (mixture of good, kind, passionate, harsh, bad and naughty) . I said he is bad because HG called him bad. HG loves JE despite him bad . Women likes man to have a sense of humour ,  passionate and bad boy a bit.

In real life, I see my own dad will say he hate or dislike my mum for her stubbornness and my mum will say or criticise abt my dad weakness. in real life, I see couple will despise certain part of each other. yet, the love for each other and commitment to love, spouse and couple overcome all this imperfectness.  "I like the part that JE told HG, he was wrong  (twice) when HG told Je to forget it, not to mention, erase it. HG loves JE and understand him and kiss him to tell that she loves him despite those hurting words. This script writer enjoy parallel so much even in argument. I remember HG said to JE that I will sleep with you tomorrow, JE replied " who said so" & Hg said "I" and in the scene of exchanging rings, while JE dried HG hair, the same is spoken like JE said why do you close off yr dress and it will be open anyway (since he intend to made love with HG). HG said to him "who said so". Je said "I" ..so much parallel ..

I put "I Have A Lover" on my mydramalist.com site this afternoon, finally.  "Hmmm....9.5 or 10.0 ?"   Was going to deduct .5 for "gaps"/"holes" ---- But went for the whole "10" because I really liked it.     I rate everything I really like and want to find easily  a "9" or above --- my personal rating system!   I'm an "easy marker".    Part of my "withdrawal from IHAL" plan.

What does this message mean/ --- YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE REPUTATION TO THIS USER.

Sometimes it is only for some posts on the very same page.  I try changing to a new page & sometimes that works.  So annoying not to know where it comes from.  But I can just keep on living with it --- But so darned curious!

  14. Thank you so much, @deandraluv, for that video clip!  I  noticed that KHJ was still wearing Hae Gang's old wedding band (the first one JE gave her!).   Sweet!   So they must have wrapped everything up very soon after finishing those last scenes.  Very helpful in moving on from a very emotional weekend!

The Writer's beautiful dialogue and the skills of actors KHJ & JJH, as well as the entire cast & crew, are what really made this a drama I loved. The themes of love, caring for others properly, forgiveness and possibility of redirecting the course of one's life --- no matter how late it is --- came through very clearly & beautifully for me.

Writing a drama for TV is a special talent --- The media itself sets certain limits that MUST really be met or else there is never going to be an opportunity  for the writer to share new ideas and provoke thoughtful conversations.  TV audiences are made up of people from so many different areas of a society.  And a good drama  really should have something to appeal to each of them. If a viewer ignores the writer's deeper messages, that is their choice --- Not a problem. The writer of a TV drama makes their ideas available to the public ---A really successful, as well as talented, writer will be reaching the widest audience --- perhaps stimulating lots of people to change their viewpoints on many important issues if the current era!  Slowly some changes may be encouraged!

Like Hae Gang said she loved Jin Eon ---with all his "wounds" --- I've really loved this drama with all the "flaws" or "holes" we have  "moaned  & groaned" over!    ^_^  We even learned while  talking about THEM!

Made it through the first viewing without falling apart at all.  Thank you for that, Writer Bae --- and all by who recapped, translated, discussed, and laughed over it. I was so well prepared and ready for the fullest experience.  Beautifully done by Writer, Director, & each & every actor---especially Kim Hyun Joo & Ji Jin Hee.

Happy to see everyone starting on a path leading to better lives for each of them. Marking the ordinary passing hours of the day --- each with its own small happiness. Writer Bae painted a picture of the lasting kind of love.---with a few rough spots, easily worked out with good will & some effort --- and a little passion sprinkle around to keep things interesting!

I wonder if the Writer, Director, Producer, production crew, the entire crew realised what a great job they did?  I hope they find out!   :)

  17. @seungshin -- You are so right when you said sometimes it's best just to watch the drama and enjoy the actors and the story.   A good forum, like IHAL,  takes a lot of energy to follow along, I think.

And you remarked that Yoo Ah In "seems to be everywhere these day"s (paraphrasing a bit).  And it's true!  I read that Yoo Ah In will do a cameo appearance in his friend, Song Joong Ki' s drama "The Descendants of the Sun". They have a drama history together --- Won Best Couple in KBS, 2010 drama, "Sungkyunkwon Scandal"  along with the drama's  OTP .

I have especially liked actor SJK  since I saw his performance in "Nice Guy"(aka "the Innocent Man")  and also in the film, "A Werewolf Boy" (2012) --- a tender love story over 20 years --- no werewolves involved!    Already 30 years old --- and  always gives a good performance in every drama/film

. The 2010  KBS Couple Award:

Have to give everyone a quick look at the them as the "couple" in the drama.  Great good fun, if you haven't seen this drama yet!

  18. @deandraluv --- Thank you for 2 wonderful post (p.716).  Each was so meaningful to me. The first, about Writer Bae, the drama , and love.  She is a great writer, especially creating characters so real that I soon care deeply about their "lives & problems" and find them interesting in every way. She may have focused on love between a man & a woman --- But she demonstrated how that love flows outward and around the couple as well. And her themes of "reset" & "second chance" --- We all need them as long as we live and live among others ---As Jin Eon has the wisdom to advise Hae Gang when they first separated!  You expressed so well what a great drama Writer Bae delivered.  Any flaws or faults we claimed made it even more human and real.

Your second post describes so very well what being with the people in this forum has meant to me, also.  Sharing the story of Our OTP as they were hurt, separated, suffered, learned, and grew over 6 years (2011 to 2017 for them) felt like membership in a really close  & special group.  So much honesty and generous sharing of insights and information.  I am so sorry it's over now.I will miss all of you. But I'm thankful this experience came at this time.  :) You were always a very good writer here, IMHO, @deandraluv !  This entire weekend is an unexpected  mix of happiness & sadness, facing the end of one of the best dramas I have enjoyed in a long time.

  19. @gerrytan8063 --- Thank you for all your wonderful & informative posts.  I've always looked forward to hearing what you will say next. And special thanks for your summary post of Episode 50, here on p.715. about the final greeting to Eun Sol. Now I can be prepared for the tears.  Writer Bae h given so many parallels  and this is so healing, too.  And we have all the questions answered that really matter now.  Thank you for putting them together so neatly for us!   :)

I am so impressed with the dialogue she has given us in this drama. And counting off the ordinary hours of a shared life!  Such a beautiful image to  illustrate how grand and transformative a thing love is and yet how we experience it in sharing such ordinary things every day.   Something worth remembering.  And a theme well demonstrated in her drama.  Hoping to see her next drama soon.

  20. @irilight -- Thank you for being such a very gracious moderator!  Always enjoy your posts, too.  About "Mrs. Cop S2" --- I "assumed" wrongly again ---Never seem to learn!  I thought that woman in the previews was the 2nd lead lady detective!  Should have known a big star wouldn't do a series!  I just wanted it to be like that!

@seungshin --- Thank you for pointing out Hae Gang's "voice overs" as she counts off the hours of the day! The Writer showing us how love is in the ordinary times we share with the ones we love --- so simple but so extraordinary!  I'll be sure not to miss that now.  And how funny that Jin Eun was "jealous" of Hae gang's attention for YAI.   ^_^  So cute & so like Jin Eun!

  21. Hoped to see a photo of Park Han Byul, catching the Bride's bouquet!  But alas, only a photo of the flowers in this article.  Maybe later articles will cover it!  The actress was such a good sport playing the Seol Ri, the woman we "loved to hate"!  Always felt bad about fans maybe treating her badly!     ^_^

How long can I stay away from Viki? (16%subs at 7:30 PM EST).      :(

  22. February 28, 2016 --- Sunday ---LATE Afternoon.

I'm in serious "denial"!   :(  Read only p.708.  Went away. Now starting with p.715.  Only because I don't want to miss all the "farewell Posts".  I have a general idea how it all plays out in the end.  We have had hints. Viki at 8% ---Don't think I can take seeing it "raw" first this time!

I'll read from p.715 onwards --- saving Episode 50 until the very end!  Like I save up the dessert for last!  Then it will really be over!

@seungshin --- Hello! and already Goodbye!     Yoo Ah In? Really?  Our "Seon Jae"! ---"Be still, my heart"!    I always remember them & can never can forget "Seon Jae" ---Keeping  an eye on Yoo Ah In's works, but decided to take a "pass" on the 50 episode drama, "Six Flying Dragons" until later! But looking forward to seeing Kim Hee Ae (aka "Hye Won") in "Mrs. Cop, Season 2" following IHAL on SBS.  Not a "deep" drama but very enjoyable!  I knew she'd make a great Detective--- Thought YAI would do well being with her in such a drama.  Oh, well --- maybe far ahead, a future reunion project!  Thank you for all the "previews" in your post ---Now I'll enjoy them even more later.

Had to smile at the photo of  MTS actor and JR actress --- striking that famous "sharing the music at the wall" pose!

And when Hae Gang sprayed Jin Eon with "Febreze" (?) --- I remembered how once he did the same thing to remove her fragrance!!!  I quess Writer Bae put lots of little "parallels" into the last episode!

My Goodbye to Everyone who followed this forum together. Thank you to all of you!  It's been a       wonderful and memorable experience.  I didn't realize it' been 6 months!   Time passed so quickly.

:cold_sweat:    :fearful:    :frown:    :flushed:        :glasses:

  23. @gerrytan8063 ---Appreciate your translations, as always. Thank you!   :)

Two Comments after my second viewing of Epi. 49:

First of all, Jin Eon told Hae Gang (paraphrasing, "You only had to wait 2 years & 2 (or 3?) months".   Anyone can help me with this math? You know I loved to calculate within the drama --- But I'm a little lost with this one. Is he starting with the date of her "accident'/amnesia --- So round it up to "Oct. 2011" and count up to "Dec. 2015"? When her amnesia was resolving or completely gone?  When he expected to receive that "special birthday gift" from her?---- He lost me with his reasoning here!   B)

Secondly, I hope HK & JE will give that orphanage a fresh supply of more appropriate girls' books --- With worthy heroines for the 21st Century young girls!  Save the classic fairy tales for later when they can be better explained as examples of old style classics!   Avoid the "Candy" stereotypes, please?

Except for those minor, minor points --- LOVED this episode!  I know the dialogue will "flow" even better after Viki Editors have more time to work on it!  Always seems that way to me, at least. Maybe just a week will "refine it even more!  Thank you, Viki subbers for being so very fast today!

EDIT:  ---3 AM EST  Feb. 28 --- I didn't stay up to watch "live on-air" last night  (8 AM here!)  to reduce any crying over scenes I might not fully understand.  And  I've decided to wait until tomorrow to MAXIMIZE the enjoyment of this last episode.--- Expecting a wonderful  & happy conclusion with a possible "partial" time jump into the characters' futures.   So I'll say Goodnight now.  And to all the Recappers ---Enjoy the finale!    :D    And "Thank You" for all the hard work and for the photos & translations all this time!

  24. Hmmm!  The 2 boys in the photos (P.704 --- @irilight)  are ...???  Family of cast or production members?   JJH's real son(s)?  (about the right ages) ... But not likely, he is protective of his family's privacy.  Could be one of the 3 Baek boys?

Thank you for the video of the Preview, @Misstwilightfan1416.   and @jyfan88 Thank you for the translation!

So thoughtful of the Writer to lift the audience up before they leave!  It seems so much like the right thing to do in "the theater" --- Wouldn't those ancient Greek drama writers be so proud of her!

    Spoiler
