I will go crazy if it's her spirit wandering around rrrrrr

why must OG loss his memory ? Because it's too painful? It's unfair!!

I think that's precisely why. I think he might choose to, hmm amnesia might be too strong a term... he might choose to wall off his memories or rather his heart because he just can't handle a world without her. It doesn't appear to be doing the trick too well considering he willingly imprisons himself in his home, I bet because even in his walled-off state he still can't stand a world without her. :bawling:

Edited to Add:  His home is also where she died, so... yeah, we can also look at it as he's refusing to leave her side even after her death. I'm not crying!  Gah, why do I keep making myself so sad!  Tomorrow's episode better not be as sad as I just made myself.

As usual.. who wanna bet that MW will be the one telling Sunmi about OG's plan?

these demons want the points but don't want to do anything. I'm 100% serious here, what has Mawang done other than putting Sunmi at risk all the time?

People seem to put shield on his character because he is funny but him and PK sre quite bad actually. Yes, Mawang hidden love for OG is cute but i really wanna see OG gets angry at him for doing that to Sunmi.

Sunmi has been saint to him all the time. Sigh.. it's weird how her character received flak  few eps ago for being sincere and kind? But being evil is okay because they are funny?

I clapped so hard reading this. Thank you!

Thank you! I found the post that suggested it might be a male. But if it's still open as to whether it's son/daughter it'll be interesting how this plotline develops.

At first when I read that MW's child is a son my immediate thought is ASN will mislead MW into thinking that the Candidate/Kang Dae-sung is his son so that MW will help him. Part of her twisted plan to create havoc for the world!

It also finally made sense to me why MW didn't go searching for his child.. If he has been made to believe he/she is dead.

Strange also that the previous protector to previous SJ is only introduced now. Why only now? And if she's immortal & protector, I hope she's not just a messenger now but will be useful character. Oh dear writers, please don't introduce characters just for the sake of getting different actors/actresses in!

    :wacko::huh:

This came to me just: ASN's reason for taking over SJM's body was cos BJ's a zombie and she can't have her full power as the priestess. Of course she also desires SOG but she's a priestess with bad intentions. Yet her first few tasks after taking over SJM's body was to seduce SOG and to go shopping. Ermmm... Can't really figure her out!!

I think your idea about ASN telling MW the Candidate is his obviously reborn child makes sense whether or not the child is a boy or a girl. MW has proved time and time again he is ripe for conning when it comes to anything associated with Nachal. Honestly, every one of these monsters and demi-gods have shown themselves to be this way, but in MW's case, his actions tend to kickstart larger story actions. Sending SM into OG's mystical prison... giving SM the GGG... awakening ASN, then agreeing to ASN's plan, etc. Since this seems to be the purpose of his story, it makes a scary sense to have ASN convince MW the Candidate is his in order to raise her dragon and crown her chosen king with relative breathing room.

The sudden appearance of the protector might be linked to the sword we see in the preview. Perhaps the sword's appearance is a sign to this still living Sam Jang protector that another Sam Jang has been called and the protector wants to impart some wisdom?  Whatever the case, I am interested in knowing about what it all entails and how deep Heavens' games go.

LOL, over ASN's priorities.  Let's keep in mind she also changed BJ's wardrobe, hair and makeup as soon as possible, too.  She is a consummate fashionista. I would imagine being able to enchant and possess souls, yet never have the real love and real devotion would be quite frustrating for ASN. Might explain why she's obsessed with having OG - he's powerful, bound to love the GGG owner and has shown himself to be quite devoted. I guess I can't blame her for wanting to seduce OG... oh wait, I can because it was gross. The chemistry is real, don't get me wrong, but all enjoyment was doused seeing OG's stifled reactions. Our poor monkey was tortured, scared, angry and full of loathing; he hated every moment so much. What was delicious was his palpable longing and fear for JSM. LSG and OYS really played so well against each other as they bounced from enemies to lovers.  Fantastic work!

Maintaining a zombie body is hard work, I know I forgot how many energy balls it took just to keep BJ this side of functional, let alone lively and energetic. ASN was apparently using a lot of her might to do that on her own and still had to supplement by eating living flesh in order to maintain even a tenth of her powers.  No wonder she felt unleashed in SM's body only to discover that being a modern human with obligations is also quite energy draining, , if in a different sense. Maybe it's just me but I thought we saw ASN fully relaxed; she thought she had won, discovering OG knew she wasn't SM was a setback but she still felt she had the upperhand as she demonstrated in the glass bottle scene.  Brilliant, brilliant scene by the way.  It really illustrated how she is, despite her protests, very much like the bookseller - a very evil spirit.  Playing with lives, moving souls around like game pieces, it was really quite sick. This and dragon-raising/crowning a king is her nature.

  4. @40somethingahjumma  Oh, I hope I didn't come off as shouting you down for a different opinion. :(  Reading your points just made me think of the ones I wrote, that's all.  I don't think I expressed myself well because I also wanted to indicate that while I share some of those listed frustrations I channel their focus on other characters, specifically MW, who I have the most problematic relationship with.  The bull frustrates me, but you are right in that he is acting according to their nature.  It has taken me a while to wrap my head around the ways in which they snipe and take shots at each other.  They can pull stuff on each other which among humans would mean you are the bitterest of enemies but since they are immortal, they take it in stride and will likely share a bear in a century or so and laugh over good times. I try to keep that in mind but I am admittedly protective of SM, :D

I think SM doesn't share with HJ because experience has taught her regular humans don't want to know and I think she fears losing him, not so much because she doesn't trust him. Perhaps for me it is a matter of semantics. I feel like SM fears losing what she has, so initially it makes her hesitant to risk (like how she initially resisted actively giving her heart to OG) but she does long to experience and have close relationships with people who won't shun her.  I think of that moment when she told Summer Fairy that if she could find humans who wanted to be around her, then she'd be around humans and not monsters, or something like that. I still think about she and OG's heartbreaking tour through "Friendship-Family-and-Lover" event. How prior to engaging OG as one of the three, SM took a moment to look with longing at people who actually living those moments, but then how sincerely happy she was to be sharing those moments with OG even under a false pretext.  She's always been a curious mixture of caution and the untempered, a very odd girl. But to your point, if only to address what others in the audience feels she lacks, it's likely time to readjust her reactions and actions. Ultimately, if the audience isn't reading what's being sold well, the fault lies with the storyteller.

@aunniek  Nice catch about Nachal's daughter being killed in this life! To that point, didn't Nachal in the 1930's film say her daughter and husband were murdered?  If so, two examples are a very small sample size to be basing anything on but it is curious... LOL, well, what else do we have but to endlessly speculate since this drama is so difficult to precisely pin down how the next event will play out.

The monk is also supposed to be a boy and yet here we are... :D  Unless official drama material has specifically called the child a boy, I don't think we can eliminate the possibility that JSM is an incarnation of MW and Nachal's child just yet; at least not exclusively based on gender. Personally I agree with another poster that it is more an outside chance than either a guarantee or a strong possibility. I"m torn because I really like the idea of a fully human being confronting hellish gates, (quietly or not so quietly) saving the world and being rewarded for her efforts.  But it's not a deal breaker for me or anything.  Really what intrigues me about the theory is watching that bull freak out to realize he's responsible for putting his kid together with OG and that he can never be rid of him since he'll be his son-in-law, :D:tongue:

@40somethingahjumma  I do get frustrated with how she trusts MW, although I admit most of my frustration is aimed at how shady MW continues to be and I'm really just <_<.  But as much as SM has grown more emotional because of OG and also more relaxed because she's socializing more (with monsters), she still has a lot of the same instincts she's developed over a lifetime of solitude and rejection. One of them is a tendency to forgive offenses, a necessary skill when dealing with spirits that she may be able to convince through kindness to move on or to maintain even the barest familial ties. IMO, SM reacts to the dubious nature of MW, for example, exactly the way she reacted to her family - he's done/doing something that hurts me but he has his reasons and I sympathize. It's not an instinctive reaction we've seen her kick yet because if she kicked it too soon, she might never have let herself fall for OG. I do wonder if MW's action of letting ASN not only live but hang around after what she's done will mark a change in her attitude towards him?  I'm not expecting bitter or even angry but maybe the same firmness she displayed with her cousin because really, at this point, MW has no strong sympathetic position. Nachal has been freed from eternal torment, if not her rebirth cycle, and that was thanks to SM, OG and even SBR. If he can't show a little loyalty even in the face of that, it likely is time for SM to let MW know he's reached his limit.

i'm curious about the ending actually.. all this time when KS tell a story about his past moreover about WY, i always thought he understand that WY just a puppet who act according what park scholar said, but now he seems still mad and hold his resentment toward WY.

he even have WY name plat (i don't know what it call) in the temple, i think pray for decedent wasn't something that someone with grudge will do.... really waiting for next week will be longer this week :vicx:.

KS has prayed every year to meet the Queen and King but his reasons for wanting these meetings differed according to the person. He wanted to meet the Queen, his sister, because he loved her and wanted a chance to do better by her. He wanted to meet the King in order to have this very confrontation he's having with GR at the end of ep 12. It certainly wasn't meant to be a nice meeting, not with the amount of pain and rage (KS's word when describing his feelings towards the past) he's been carrying around. Also, understanding/knowing someone's mindset or motives or thought processes objectively doesn't mean a person on a personal level automatically forgives it or is okay with it.  I'm sure you can think of people in your personal life or in the context of history whose motives or thought process you could objectively reason out but personally had issues with or couldn't/shouldn't forgive? I certainly can, lol. Of course, I hope and pray KS forgives GR but this moment, this confrontation was deserved and a long time coming. Finally he can complete his approach to the King, it's what happens next that has me biting my nails. No matter what, KS must remember he needs GR to help him safeguard ET. He can't do it without the advance warning of a reaper and now that a second reaper might enter the fray with nefarious motives, KS needs GR's support more than ever.

Question: does GR actually remember or does he just objectively know he must be the King in this scenario?

  7. The goblin fire didn't destroy him?! What kind of boss level richard simmons is that?! And I mean that in the best possible way! The guy is pure evil, he might be literally beyond redemption. Also, grim reaper lady is barely on this side of atonement, it would be wise not to screw it up now but now that I think about it, she was always iffy as a grim reaper. I mean, when the bus accident didn't happen all the reapers were stunned and flustered and confused, but I noticed she was the only one to openly suggest/ask they cause the accident to happen since it didn't happen on its own. At the time I chalked it up to her being a newly minted reaper but with what we know now (great catch by everyone on it being the same actress in Goryeo!!!!), I'm more inclined to think it says something about her nature. But she also made grim reaper status, so I'm hoping that also speaks to ,her ability to make better choices. Freaking hell, the evil minister is laying the groundwork for so many bad things, clearly he hasn't lost his evil manipulation skills.

Hopefully this ep has put to rest any doubts as to who is who. It was great to have Sunny finally remember through GR's kiss but her last conversation with the King as the Queen was so sad and full of pain. His willingness to throw her and her brother away hurt her quite badly but she never lost her love for him. The true reunion between brother and sister was so great. Her thanking him for all the stuff and apologizing (I guess for not recognizing him???) and their hug was so sweet. For real, I want no amnesia because this moment was so sweet and I don't want it to disappear. I have never been more grateful for our beautiful ShinTak couple - their joyous sweetness was a welcome balm as I watched everything intensely come to a head.

Speaking of intense, the DH-is-otherworldly realization, the confrontation with the All-Powerful and the reveal that DH was really only possessed was whew! Stole my breath. I loved how they chose to pair that confrontation with the All-Powerful with a great moment of levity where KS wanted to fight the depossessed DH, lol.

I cried so much this ep - grandpa dying, KS sobbing, DH grieving, KS and Sun hugging, KS repaying his former military buddy with a great job, home, etc. But that ending though!!!! I knew KS's confrontation with GR would be rough when I saw that moment in the kitchen where he briefly recognized GR was the King. The look in his eye was dead-serious, cold, for a second there was no kindness there. Bless this show for paralleling KS's failed approach to the King with this final one! So well done, these two men are once more in the same position - King on high, warrior approaching from below - and for all the differences in their situations (not a king, but a reaper; not a warrior but a goblin) so much is veering towards similarity if not sameness. All the major players are back and in play and once more everything is riding on the decisions GR and KS respectively will make. These last four eps will be amazing!

Then how to explain ghosts? Aren't they missing souls as well?

"Missing Soul" is likely an umbrella term. Other subs have translated the term as "Special Case" which might be a better term as a key to understanding it as a catchall phrase. Under that all-purpose designation, there are other branch terms like "miracles" which would apply to ET and the people in the bus-accident-that-wasn't. They would still count as "missing souls" technically because they were issued name cards much like any of the dead we've seen throughout the show but didn't die. Moving onto the wandering ghosts - ghost girl squad, evil minister, etc. - they actually died but have actively? avoided the reaper's teahouse. This doesn't seem to ring alarms for the reapers in general the way an ET or the bus people or even the evil minister has, probably because once a task of significance has been completed, these ghosts seek out the teahouse on their own. Seeing the evil minister it makes me wonder if ghosts, whether they satisfy a lingering task or not, eventually choose to enter the teahouse for the sake of their own spiritual health? Way back in ep 1, ET warned KS when she thought he was a ghost not to linger too long because it's not good for him. Looking at the evil minister, maybe she wasn't speaking abstractly or philosophically?

I think the very age of evil minister's wandering soul is what is abnormal and troubling to a reaper and why he'd sort of be upgraded as a special case on the level of ET, who, let's not forget, is a special case even within "miracles" (born instead of unborn, named instead of unnamed). Looks like he's been wandering for such a long time they lost track of his name even; of course, KS and GR know his name and history, so we'll see how all that plays out. Well, anyway, that's my two cents.

ETA: the school girl ghost offers an interesting contrast to evil minister (totally forgot). She lingered for over twenty years but didn't seem warped by the experience. She was likely a good person in life when she died vs. the minister who was awful. She was also actively accomplishing her lingering task (protecting ET and the legacy of ET's mom) which was a positive task (protection). The minister, not a good person in life, if his lingering task is to hurt KS by hurting his bride then wouldn't intention and action matter to the overall health of his soul? In the palm of time, one is buoyed by her (probable) goodness in life and kindness in death, the other twisted by his wickedness in life and resentment in death.

This question suddenly popped in my mind.  How did we know Grim Reapers were big sinners in their past lives? Was it when KS told GR in the earlier episodes? Is there a possibility KS was just teasing GR to make him feel bad?

Nope, because in a later episode one of the reapers - the one that seems to be directly under GR - said the same thing and he wasn't part of KS's convo with GR and DH and he wasn't parroting back something GR told him. That reaper mentioned it conversationally as they were talking about another reaper suddenly remembering his past life.

Yes, I knew about the sun mirror. :)

I should have brought it up. But the reason I didn’t was because back in Episode 1, when the Reaper was moving in, DH told him that the rental house was fully furnished. “All the furniture that you see is included so you just needed to move.” Therefore, the mirror belonged to Shin, and to me, the king symbolism attached to mirror cannot be attributed to the Reaper.

As for your interpretation of the mirror, yes, that’s certainly one way of looking at mirrors in general. However, the mirror did NOT function like that in the other instance it was used in the kdrama – with the cabbage grandmother at the bridge. In that instance, the mirror wasn’t at all a “window” but the real reflection of reality. On it, we saw who the pretty street vendor really was. The mirror showed the real identity of the grandmother. That’s why I wrote that the sun mirror reflects their identity, too. I was trying to be consistent.

Interestingly enough, the mirror could have been used on the Reaper there too. But the reflected sunlight blinded him and he closed his eyes. When he opened them, the spotlight was on the ring. I guess he wasn't ready for the truth then either.

--- ooops, I almost forgot! In Episode 8, when ET was walking with that pretty dead student, they both walked in front of the mirror, and the student's real and horrible condition was shown too.

As for DH’s loyalty to both the Reaper and Shin, I’m glad you brought that up. If the Reaper is the Queen/sister, then it is only natural that DH will serve the whole family, both the Reaper and Shin equally. He won’t have divided loyalties.

What’s more important for me, however, is the Hanja text that DH read in Shin’s diary. I don’t know what’s written but Shin has been going on and on about this for the last two episodes, lol. He'll probably write something like:  After a 100 years, on a good enough day, let me confess my first love, I ask the gods to listen to me.

If so, then I can see how it is both a love confession and a death wish at the same time. It means: his LAST wish before dying is to confess his FIRST love to her.

Somebody as young (he's only 25, right?) and relatively untried-and-untested as DH will probably be confused whether to emphasize the "death wish" part or the "love confession" part. DH is only going by with what (little) he knows, so I'm cutting him slack. For now.

For me, though, the word LISTEN will probably critical. That’s the one act he did when ET’s mom prayed for help when she was dying: LISTEN to her plea, and because he did so, he changed his life.  That’s also the word ET drew on his palm: LISTEN. And that’s one thing he thought the deities failed to do when he laid dying, and when he buried those grandsons in a foreign land: LISTEN to him.

Now, he’s beseeching the gods to LISTEN to him one more time. I wonder what he’ll do if they turn deaf ears to him again....

I love your post. Particularly your point on the word "listen". Shin made that the cornerstone of his life as a goblin, didn't he? He listened to people and chose if and when to steer a life, to enter a moment of their despair and let them know they were heard. Aw, this "listen" really gives even more fantastic layers to Shin for me.

Btw, i still don't understand why KS should came back to the palace while before the king asked him to go far away when he gave KS the sword

When he told him not to come back, he meant for KS to die. According to the sub I watched he specifically tells KS to send word of his death, and he'll reply with his sorrow or something similar.  He was telling him to die on the battlefield.

@drmjs  Yay, more familiar names!!!!!  Lurk no more! Great to see you here. :)

@selenette  Aw, thank you for the compliment on my username! The moment I read it, I knew I had to use it!  Also, thank you for confirming the girl was always a ghost. I did wonder in the earlier eps why ET remarked that she had no friends but this girl was clearly her friend. Really I thought maybe the girl was one of those people who is only your friend when no one "important" is looking, lol.  I really maligned the poor girl!

I don't think is set in stone that she's gonna die at 29, depends of which grim reaper is gonna come for her, she was supposed to die at 19 years too. If Wang Yo "Kim Woo Bin" is gonna be sent for her, then without a doubt he's not gonna kill her and there is a possibility that the GR can't find her.

I don't think we know much about her dying if she doesn't pull the sword, could be a lie or a exageration or the true but with some conditions. We need to see a few eps for the whole true because i don't think ET is gonna pull that sword no matter what, especially after finding that he's gonna die if she pulls that sword.

Are we really so sure GR won't reap her, if he's sent her card or stumbles across her at a Quebec restaurant? Today he was (rightfully) upset with KS's wanton interference in death matters. GR's counter to KS about ET dying was "That's her fate then!" I'm not saying he'll enjoy it and I'm not saying he's not actively trying to avoid it - making sure to never say her name (that three times rule, I think), putting off the paperwork, and he looked super-concerned someone had her namecard - but right now he's arguing on the side of letting her be taken. Personally I think once he fully remembers everything, if push comes to shove, he'll try to save her from being reaped for her sake as well as for KS's, but I think that's in the future.

This is the first time I felt like KS did something wrong with his powers. I can't imagine him not saving ET (and I desperately wanted him to save her), no matter the cost to himself, but there are now a lot of people walking who need to be reaped. Also, it was neither a selfless act nor a benevolent gesture by a passing god, his action to stop the accident was deeply personal and wholly emotional. Yeah, someone's getting punished.

Lady in Red isn't telling the full truth to KS but she's probably not lying that ET is officially in imminent danger.

From what I see from TVN short clip, GR/KWB actually didn't say anything to confirm ET's suspicion. I might be wrong of course, need SUB asap.

My understanding from watching it live was he told her off-screen and we only got to watch her reactions. Of course, subs could prove me wrong but that was my impression from watching it.

@jellybellymonster  We were explicitly told in ep 1 by the god voice as KS was resurrected that while his servant's devotion saved his soul, he would be punished for killing so many of god's creations on the battlefield. Of course, in the course of many kdramas things are added, nuances and the like, but the base of his punishment was the blood on his hands. Personally I feel like it's that combined with all those terrible feelings - regret, sorrow, anger, resentment, vengeance - that weigh him down.

But while he has done good by many people while a goblin, he was given a bride because the higher-ups have pretty much decided his time as a goblin has reached its end. Here I am thinking to pull the sword or to not pull the sword, it's all optional but it's not. The game has been rigged. I know he interfered with ET being born, but let's not forget Lady in Red urged  the mother to specifically call out to a god in a time between life and death. The Lady in Red knew KS would be there and wouldn't be able to ignore a plea directed at a god and that once he heard the fetal heartbeat, he'd definitely save mother and child. The game was rigged. He was given a bride who could not survive as long as he remained alive, or however this new wrinkle works. ET gets put on a bus that was always going to crash in order to force KS's hand, etc. We are looking at this in a skewed way - KS, ET, GR and Sunny are being tied into surrounding events to create a desired result. What the ultimate desired result will be is hard to say from the vantage of ep 8. What a ride though, huh?

I can't even remember if this episode was as funny as it usually is. That last scene is so heavy and weighty that I can't remember the early parts of the episode... :sweatingbullets::cry:

Also, don't we have that BTS of the Red Lady meeting both KS and GR on some street? Wasn't in this episode so sometime next week? But I'm pretty sure KS will be meeting Sunny soon now that the show has clearly identified who she is what they were to each other. I'm hoping he meets her with the GR and JET being present.

By the way, would Sunny still be considered KS's sister when the body is different? Biologically they aren't related but since their souls are, are they still related?

Biologically unrelated but KS will have warm feelings for her, he'll want to protect and help her as a way of redeeming the ways in which he thinks he failed her. That's the thing about having all those memories, he won't be able to see her as "Sunny", as long as he has these memories he'll always see her as his sister.

This is really adding to whatever conflict is coming down the pike between KS and GR. The sword that is KS's blessing and his curse... the sword that pains him yet must remain if he wants to live to love ET... the sword that must be removed if he wants ET to live... was a gift given to him by the King he served, the King for whom he bloodied his hands, the King who would betray him. And now that King is living under his roof and (coincidentally?) has told the woman KS loves that to pull the sword is to kill KS. How could KS's resentment and pain towards GR not once more reach a boiling point? Any normal person would be furious or bitter or extremely hurt in this situation, let alone someone who is literally magically bound to an object stamped with those emotions and more!

  15. Regarding live shoots and previews (lack thereof), Goblin did pretty well. Many times previews stop coming around ep 5 or 6. They made it to midway through before not having one.

Wow. So was KS about to confess his feelings to ET when Lady in Red stopped him? Literally blocked with books. Whatever she told him matched the gravity of what GR revealed to ET, which is that pulling the sword equals KS's death. God, I'm dying, what is this? Why? Why?

@bgcldxx Ugh, that's what I was afraid of! That she was saying the attacks on ET's life would increase if she didn't pull KS's sword.

Haters are still haters, haters will find other things to rant against ET. just let them be.

One thought, its time ET must know of the implication of drawing out the sword, don't she has the right to know?
another question: why out of sudden she can draw the sword= when at the beginning of this ep, she can't? what happen that make her qualify for phsically touching the sword?

one thought: what if even if its the Bride's duty to remove the sword, why can't she only remove after 50 years, when both of them grew old? is there a time frame whereby she needs to dreaw out the swrord? what happen if he found the Bride and both resist their Fate?
just like if  Reaper refused to reap any innocent souls?

when KS acknowledge and accept her in his heart as his Bride, in sentimental sense?
i can't stream, the srteaming site i have deso not work right at beginning, i depend on all your awesome hardwork. many thanks.

She totally has the right to know! Especially since it isn't something that can be accomplished without her.

As for what might be the difference between the beginning of the ep, when she couldn't pull the sword, and the end of the ep, when she could pull the sword, my theory is KS's feelings and perhaps also ET's.

Throughout this thread there have been many, well-written posts on the role of sadness, anger, resentment and vengeance in the drama and specifically as regards to KS and his goblinhood. What if the sword pains KS most when his emotions aren't aligned with the base emotions (resentment, anger, vengeance, sadness) embedded in the sword? In last week's episode, KS confessed to GR that his sword had begun to hurt him more and more. Now, as we've seen (flashback sequence to KS trying to pull the sword) and has been said (first ep convo with grandpa), feeling pain from the sword is not a new occurrence but there must be something new to it now. The appearance of the goblin bride definitely marks something new but it's ET's effect on KS that is the important factor. With her, he is happier, lighter and he doesn't just want "peace" - he wants to live.

At the end of today's episode, right before the sword pain flared, what was KS doing? Enjoying a happy moment with ET and perhaps the more aligned he is with true happiness the more misaligned he is with the sword. In my theory this misalignment between KS and the sword is key to its removal because only when he can emotionally divorce himself from what the sword represents can ET remove it. I also don't discount the weight of ET's own desire to pull the sword - at the start of the ep, she was all fired-up to pull it but she had that contract drawn up, didn't she? And based on all the clauses, ET fears being thrown away by KS once the sword is pulled. So who's to say that touch of fear? reluctance? didn't have an effect on her ability to touch the sword? But at the end of the ep, seeing KS in pain, ET only had one thought on her mind - to relieve KS's suffering. Maybe the two, bride and groom, have to be aligned too?

Anywho, these are just some of my frantic thoughts after watching another great and funny episode. I loved all the main otp moments to bits and pieces. KS was so kind of hot the way he reacted to the kiss by, um, tasting his own lips afterward:blush: . Also, I love how they were both lost in each other as he stroked her hair and his face when she took his hand to look at his watch, I freaking die!  Oh, is he just going to hug her and hold her hand and stuff now? Because yes, please, and thank you!!!

Ah and GR has seen the Queen's portrait and he's being torn apart by mysterious emotions he has no point of reference for. While GR remains cute, I'm really looking forward to this reveal almost as much as my lovely, lovely ET x KS. So much unfinished business between KS, GR and Sunny.

*snip*   SN: What is this? Did we meet accidentally? It’s not for me. Why didn’t you call me? I have been waiting for your call, for the whole month!
GR: I will do it. I’ll go and do it now
SN: Where are you going? Are you going to look for public phone?
GR: There’s phone in my house so I’m going home. I’ll call you immediately
SN: How funny. But we have met each other right now
GR: Ah, nice to meet you
SN: Ugh, you make going crazy. Instead of you calling me immediately, how about we have coffee together? Seoul has a lot of café and I have a lot of time

SN: Excuse me. Are we only going to drink coffee? The sun has set
GR: Ah, the sun is quite short
SN: It’s not. You have been drinking that for an hour. Don’t we have to greet each other? Shouldn’t we have to ask about each other? Aren’t we having any conversation?
GR: Ah… Hello. Have you been well?
SN: *sighed* Yes, How about you? Are you taking a good care of my ring? Have you got any cell phone?
GR: Yes, I am well. I’m taking a good care of the ring. I don’t have cell phone
SN: *sighed* Tell me honestly. You forgot my name, right?
GR: Sunhyo (with a confident tone)
SN: It’s not Sunhyo but Sunny! *laughed* You are a funny guy. Is this your concept? (GR silent and stared at her) What are you looking at?
GR: You make me looked at you because you smile/laugh (background song ‘because you are pretty, pretty. You are pretty)
SN: I think I never knew about your name. What is your name?

Sorry for cutting your post. Wow. Oh wow. GR's social skills aren't even at zero. They're at negative 100! Aw, but he's so cute. Why is he so much like a puppy now? Once he moved in with KS and started talking to humans (DH, now ET) outside of reaping hours, he is so much a puppy!

If I was Sunny I wouldn't know whether he was making fun of me or if he was really just too pure for this world?

  18. @TaeMin Kim  OH MY GOD!!! I just saw the sub for what turns out to be KS's second confession. I'm dying! From laughter, from swooning, from all the feels!!!  And GR just lounging there with this expression like he's watching his morning dramas, LOL.

Hahahahahaha!!!!! It happened! He finally did it! He finally admitted he's the fulfillment of her third wish (or at least, deep down he hopes to be)!!!!  I'm dying.  I can't breathe this is so funny.  Sigh, wiping tears from my eyes, I swear.
