but I feel that hopefully we can have the same casts to be part of their same roles for the other 2 series of the "Three lives three worlds" - Step Lotus (LS and CY) and Bodhi Fate (MY and SW) that the author is still writing.
especially for some of the roles like DHDJ, FJ and the rest like LS etc. Having them in both TMOPB and ELOD, we already have the familiarity of the roles with them.
It would be great if they come back as cameo since we are familiar and I can't think of anyone else who could DH and FJ.
As @Yori Ten mentioned, they should be trying out new roles. I especially want to see Vengo in comedy. I think he has a natural flair for comedy and Reba to maybe be a villain. She definitely has the acting chops.

Her fan group are probably younger and may see only things from surface base. Reba said it herself, she is a sensitive person and likes to be pampered. Vengo seems easy going, positive, yet mature in his thinking, and attentive. On the other hand, Reba seems more motivated compared to Vengo. Just from an outsiders point of view, I think Vengo and Reba's personalities balance each other well. But I definitely agree, it all comes down to Vengo and Reba if they want to have relationship or not.
@ChibiLy I totally agree. I think Reba may be the more ambitious of the two but both of them really do compliment each other from their interaction and personality.
Vengo did say that Reba is the kind to lead and he seems the kind who is happy to be led. Like you mentioned, he is positive, mature and he is very attentive to Reba which is what she wants. He seems to be happy with what he is doing and supportive of her success.
They are both grown-ups and although it will break my heart that they are not together, I do hope they will end up together in the end. I wish them all the happiness in the world even if its not with each other. Both of them seem like very grounded and nice people. None of us and the rabid fans have the right to decide their lives for them.
I do hope they are still together. Reba is a nice and genuine person and I am sure she can recognise the gem that Vengo is. Perhaps thats why she wanted to stake her claim on him earlier on.
Their hands are probably tied from the nature of their job and sometimes I find it sad that they have to endure the "distance" and stay away from each other instead of being themselves during TMOPB time. I suspect that's why there are so little or almost none of their BTS together for ELOD. There would be an extreme reaction if those rabid fans knew that they are still close.

I find Vengo's action for this BTS really sweet. The BTS is of the one in the mortal world and she was falling and Vengo caught her.
It shows how aware Vengo is of Reba and her actions.
From what I see, Reba didn't give advance notice that she was going to try falling. Vengo was also busy talking to someone and was not even looking at her. It took him a split second to pull her back when he realised that she was falling. He was the fastest even though there was two other people wanting to catch her.
She must trust him a lot. She wasn't even surprised or flinched when he pulled her back. It just looks natural for both of them.

It's been a while since I tried moving on from ELOD but I still can't.
I have been trying to find another drama and finally found one called Girlfriend. I thought that may be the cure but it wasn't successful.
I realised most of the modern dramas ML will secretly try to protect the FL or worse, annoy her just to get attention. They try so hard to save face while trying to 'tell' the FL that they care.
Why can't the MLs just be as shameless as DHDJ? Once DH knew he wanted FJ, he spared no expense to tell and show her exactly how he felt even though she doubted it.
Sigh, this only means one thing. I have to re-watch ELOD again!

Such a touching and heart-felt explanation, shortened to two phrases “Thank you” and “Forget me”, why was it cut? Could it be that Dong Hua didn’t have the breath to utter so many sentences? The original script definitely does a better job of shedding light on what “Forget me” was trying to express.
Why on earth would they edit the scene to those two words?
That original script would have left me bawling! So impactful. I would have cried like there was no tomorrow!
It would have made total sense and totally break my heart into pieces like that scene hasn't already!
I feel so cheated.

As someone mentioned previously, its quite amazing that no one has leaked their relationship status although the hints are quite obvious to me.
Is Jaywalk really very powerful? Its quite impressive that they managed to make that interview (where they supposedly wanted to go public) disappear from the face of the earth. I also think Reba rabid fans probably have something to do with it as well.
I'd like to believe that maybe many people love both V&R so they are keeping their secret.
I can only imagine their frustrations of not being able to be with each other in public. I hope they will stay strong and overcome it.
I have faith in them!

If everything is true and they do end up married with kids, someone should do a story on them.
How they met when they were struggling actors, surviving those rabid fans, all those scandals but they stayed strong and overcame it together and chose each other despite it all.
Sigh, a girl can dream.

Hahah, technically, she has the most "bed" scenes with V. They are on bed together quite often in ELOD! :p

IKR! I was surprised too.
R and V should be more comfortable with each other. They have known each other for a long time and they probably spend a lot of time together due to filming eg. 5 months for ELOD and goodness how long for the rest of the times they worked together.
I think they may be too comfortable with each other as friends and like V said, everything is sweet but lacking passion. They are professional actor and actress so if the scene calls for it, I am sure they can be passionate but in my opinion, since they do have some degree of inputs, they just took the safe route.

Goodness! It sounds bad. Those name calling is absolutely horrible!
No wonder she hasn't done anything for ELOD. She may be waiting for the commotion to die down.
I hope it gets resolved soon. And even if she chooses to date Johnny (it would totally break my heart, of course since I think both Vengo and her make a good pair), its her choice and her life.
As fans, we should be happy if they are happy and grateful that they bring their characters to life and let us enjoy wonderful stories.
I really don't understand these fans!

It was so sweet and I am quite positive that I melted into a puddle when he furrowed his brows and had a worried expression when she had a headache!

As I was re-watching yet again, I realised that DH and FJ's relationship is very organic. FJ always loved DH but even though it was intriguing for DH, he was taking his time and did not display his feelings.
Its all the small little things (eg. silk handkerchief adventures, Fanyin Valley and then finally Aranya's dream) that build up and when LS told DH what FJ did for him, it was like the floodgates were opened.
DH became resolute and sure of his feelings and displayed it for all to see when he discharged his powers and went to Aranya's dream for FJ so that no one will mistake his intention.
Ahhh, its such a pleasure to watch these 2 fall deeply in love with each other!
PS: I can't move on! I can't find another good drama that can make me stop watching ELOD!

Actually I am hoping that they are still close friends, just that we don't see their interactions anymore.
They seem more guarded in ELOD Bts as compared to TMOPB Bts. Although some R fans might be attacking V, he seems like a level headed guy who is mature and hopefully he doesn't let it affect him.

I love watching DH fight. He may seem very calm most of the time but you can see the intensity in his eyes when he fights and somehow I can hear his brain working hahah!
Maybe its just me! Doesn't help that he looks super uber cool wielding that super uber pretty Chang'he too! *winks* Double meaning intended
