The drought is real.
We can dig through every single piece of clue and reanalyze again and again. Then, we watch their clips again and again, hoping we could find some new clues. They can be a ANYTHING AND IN ANY FORM. But I am not ashamed of it even people call me delulu
. Cos I know this drought is sweeping through all continents, in every single country that has Netflix...I even wonder if this worldwide drought affected NK as well So, I will happily admit I am delulu, if the ship is Biinjin. Millions of people are with me Now, I wonder if both just show up separately would help to ease this drought... 6 months condolences period is coming to an end, I wonder if they will shed some lights to us.
@September 22@binjinmade a good point, and I think many of us have mentioned that already that Binjin will stop the rumors if they are not fine with it. In fact, I want to reiterate, what they have been doing since 2019 invite shippers to ship them religiously, so it will be the biggest fraud if they are not real...
I trust they won’t do that to fans even YJ likes to play tricks to people...
Lastly, chill out ladies. I know we have many different fans from different countries, background and ethnicity. Some of us may grow up to make jokes with sarcasm. I do too. @Peony your post earlier about the hard core evidence gave us so much positive vibes! THANK YOU. As SYJ will be endorsing SMART as well, makes me sometimes wonder are they for real? Cos, many times real couple who are still keeping their relationship a secret tends to avoid endorsing the product together... I know I am being ambivalent and unsure... but sometimes we need to think things twice to keep us grounded right?

Interesting, I think HB is pretty public on the relationship with HJW. I think they mentioned they are good friends and will sometimes go out for dinner as well. I think HB even went to HJW's brother's funeral... Since they are so open about it, I think they are really just good friends.
Besides, I think HJW are the type of girl that boys will treat her as buddy, someone whom they will go to when they want to ask a girl out or something. But, it's really my humble opinion.

KNG - I dun know him, I dun know their rumor but I dun think they dated. Why? Given SYJ's personality, I dun think shes the type of person who would deny in interview something that really indeed happened for the sake of protecting her image. Plus, all interview questions got approved first before they could get asked, SYJ could have rejected the question rather than getting asked. So I stay firm that SYJ was not into nor dating KNG
Just want to add on some of my observations & opinion... Yes, I admit I may not have watched all of SYJ's movies and not her die hard fan as many of you are. However, I did see her kiss scene with other costars, and it looks different. if we pay more attention to the details... you can tell. (remind yourself not to be bias though) Other kiss scenes may look more passionate due to the story they are trying to tell, but the little details look different.
SpoilerI also don't think KNG dated her either, and here's my reasons:
1) you can still see that independant and a bit tomboyish SYJ during their interactions that we don't see any with HB. It's more noticeable when during the filming of CLOY. Now, things may change since then (it was so many years ago). However, they are more like "buddy" type of friends when I see their interviews, and sometimes it's more like friends bickering instead of mutually "flirting" (sorry it's a sensitive word her now, but I cannot think of a better word for it) .
2) Many shoppers say that it fits to her timeline of getting married by 34. Yes it could be true that she's dating, but that doesn't mean she was dating KNG. We cannot just assume it's true because she happened to be working with him at that time.... I guess. She also said earlier like 2006?? that she doesn't want to date actors, then she changed her views recently... maybe during her Last Princess Promotion (correct me if I am wrong).
3) It seems that KNG was "jokingly" hitting on her during the promo and filming, don't know if he did that for promotion or for real... but she doesn't seem to like that kind of guys according to her previous interviews. (not offending KNG here, we are being subjective here)
4) How she respond to the rumor also makes me think they are never together. Just look how she respond to her rumor with HB should give you a clue.
Enough said, I guess the most important thing is you meet the right person at the right time. This is what I think.
SpoilerMy friend always make me worried by telling me that HB will end up marrying someone else instead, less successful and younger cos he is an alpha male...

Yeah, same here... but I guess due to CoVi-19, everyone has nothing else to do but to stay home. Hence, the situation definitely helped the ratings. Remember that CLOY aired before the whole pandemic, hence IMO, people should consider that too.
And speaking of IG, I really hope fans will stop tagging them in the future... many of the close up/ slow motion/ dissecting of a clip is totally unnecessary to tag them directly (in particular SYJ as it seems she manages her account as well). I know fans/ shippers may get carried away sometimes when discovered some "treasures" in a scene or clip, but IMO this will only give them more pressure and do no good to their relationship. Let's keep all the shipping to ourselves and wait patiently for the good news?

@Ri Se Ri He's just courteous IMO, it's his normal self that we all used to know until... well TN promotion era... He treats all female stars that way. He never worked with her before as of 2014, so I think it's normal for him to be courteous or shy next to her. Remember, he's not an extrovert and goofy type of person. We all may forgot about his normal self as we mostly focus on his interactions with SYJ. People who know him from TN/ CLOY would never imagine him as a shy introvert in the public. Let's be fair and honest, if his eyes glued to her in that award show like he's doing now, I think SYJ will not like him and he's not the HB we know of...
It just further proofs that now he sees her as someone special and not just a colleague that their agencies claim they are. That's all. It's a just good reference for us to compare "before" and "after".
See shoppers trying to question his behaviour in the 2104 award show, so want to pitch in my 2 cents here...

Probably just like those reporters from A-channel said, they got away with it so many times that they thought they won't get spotted? Being seen in the public in LA pretty much expose your status to the whole asian community. There's just too many asians everywhere, even in the WestWood/ Santa Monica/ Beverly Hills area. In addition, both of them are all house-hold names for over a decay!

it's so hard for them to do something that we all take it for granted. They already travelled 1/2 the globe to do things normal people would do, just getting some "me time" with your gf/bf, then it still blow up in all asian headlines... It may get worse after CLOY as it's been so popular in pretty much all continents...
Anyway, as.a shopper, I am still glad we got those photos though, as they really tell us we are not in our delulu mind. Hope the ship sails smoothly to its destination. I think none of us here question them being together, it's a matter whether it lasts and they will find their happy ending.

Not trying to offend any Bin fans here. I am just a casual fan that finds they have amazing chemistry, hence follow their dating news. It's my humble opinion as a casual tv watcher (in fact, I haven't watch K dramas for a long time, just watch again because of BinJin).
I just think RJH is a relatively easy role for him cos he's good at portraying these kind of role. I am not saying he didn't put in any effort or trying to ignore his talents. He's a great actor. It seems to me he will pick some other challenging roles and a story that will focus on his character more. As a casual watcher, YSR's character stands out more and more multi-dimensional to me, that's all. You can tell the writer puts more time to explore and develop her character. Ok enough said, it's just my own opinion. Peace.

Agree. They are both highly appreciated actor and actress. With their status in the K-ent, they do not need anyone's recommendation to get a role. It's more like writers/ directors/ production team begging them to sign on the project as they can guarantee some kind of high ratings/ buzz already.
To be honest, I think Captain Ri's character is less challenging than Yoon Seri. I am surprise that HB will pick up this role in the first place as this is really a piece of cake for him. So, what makes him want to sign on this role? We probably will never know... BUT, I recall during CLOY press con, he mentioned something like he wants people to see another side of SYJ? Certain things that was never showed to the public??? My delulu mind tells me that's his intention to sign on the role is to spend time and work with his "close friend"(God forbid in K-ent) and let her shines. Yes. it's my delulu heart speaking here... that's all speculation. Don't take it seriously.
BTW, the more I research on these two people, the more I think that they are so in-sync in so many aspects that give me goosebumps. I don't know what is wrong with this universe if these two people aren't together. They maybe a long lost "twins"
A more rational interpretation would be their age so that they share very similar views, thinking and taste?! Just like what SYJ said during TN promotion? REALLY?!

I agree what she said. I mean, there are platonic friendship between guy and gal... but as you get older, this kind of relationship will get more difficult. Those platonic friends usually know each other since young age, it‘s even possible that they had a fling (testing water) then realize it’s better to stay as friends. It usually happen when marriage is still too early for both to think about, and they have all the time in the world. Those friendship don’t usually start at “almost 40 in age” and both are still single.
But, for BinJin... don‘t think they will just have a fling or have all the time in the world base on their social status and age. They are also mature enough to control themselves/ hiding their true feelings in the public if their feelings aren’t mutual, It‘s K-ent afterall, people are harsh on actors & actresses. For someone like SYJ, who worked so hard to come clean on all “scandals”, how she handled her rumor with HB is very “unique” and differernt from the past. From all her previous interviews, she is sincere and straight forward, but her respond to ther rumor with HB is such a blur and dodging all the way. Her way to “admit” the rumor is as clear as day to me
So don‘t say who likes who more, the relationship won‘t happen if their feelings aren’t mutual. (especially both of them have lots of options, if you know what I mean )
Also. may I also say that ever since TN and SiTR, SYJ seemed to slow down her pace - less of a Cow-Jin. I hope she is really shifting her gear towards other things in life. I am not saying she should/would give up her career, but there are other things in life other than work and acting that she can focus on. I think I said it before, it‘s difficult to find someone to make you smile. Hope both will cherish this opportunity and give each other a chance. At least give it a try.

I hate to say this, but I always laugh when I see his panic face. It's like the GF whined about how her BF....F mistreated her as a joke to her friends. But of course, as stiff and serious guy like her BF...F, you can tell he took it seriously at the beginning. He then tried to deny and make excuses to get away with the "mistake" that he did, such a baby

Read from another forum that he rejected the offer to play personal taste and accepted secret garden... I am glad, but feel a bit unfortunate at the same time... Glad- cos I think it will be so much better if they meet at the right age (now), if they are fate to get together somehow.
Unfortunate- cos there are so much sweet scenes in personal taste.
They also have a proper happy ending, unlike CLOY...

Yup, sometimes I learned I got friends (even relatives) are at the same city at the same time during my travel, all we will do is to text each other about the cool places we explored and share some info as a tourist (tripadvisor- friends edition), but we will still only hang out with our own group of friends that we traveled with. Never did we tried to make an arrangement to meet at that place as we usually have different plans and schedule! To me, their response is really lame.... that cracked me up. Anyway, we know that V@SSST and MSTRE@MM already tried, just like Mr. Hong....

Yeah, I bet they are having a lot of pressure, especially after the CLOY success. My worry/ doubt was never about if they are together, but if they can make it. It must be hard and overwhelming for them when their partnership is loved by so many people all around the world. It's been a long time since the K show biz has such a popular show around the world, and this pair is so well received by the audiences. It seems no one that I've met would deny their visual and chemistry. We should start a prayer circle and pray intently for their happy ending!!

Yay, I knew there’s something fishy about this news when I first read from twitter. So I am not completely gone delulu (yet)...With the same token, what we observed are quite legit, with plausible evidences that proofs their relationship are more than friends.
When the MC stated that “you two are close” during the Kakao interview, I don’t see any awkwardness on HB’s face (he’s easy to read). It seems like he just say, yeah we are
. If the subtitles are translated correctly, it means a lot in Asian show biz language, cos most of the time couples who want to hide their relationship would only admit they are good friends... and I think the already admitted that. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think RJH picked the bands as they are because that represents their love is just pure and simple. He loves her just because she is YSR, not because she's an offspring of a chaebol and a CEO. He loves her when she's penniless in NK, and he still loves her when she went back to SK. (oh my heart
)
Also, RJH is such a nobel and "boring" guy, with pretty "old fashioned" believes. (look at his choice for Seri's birthday cake
) He will choose something not fancy and just serves its function, and I think it did. (typical ahjusshi??) I also touched by how YSR loves the ring despite the fact that it may be the cheapest, simplest band she ever owns. This, on the contrary, is the most precious jewelry to her... (oh my heart!!) I should go back and watch that scene again. I love how the crew (possibly HB/ SYJ included) to choose that gold band as their couple rings. It just add so much feels to the show. Well done!

TBH, that picture didn’t say much. The original post mentioned they dined after shooting CLOY with the crew. It’s just very normal for you to dine with coworkers during work. They may get back to shooting after the dinner. There’s really not much value in this photo in terms of shipping IMO.
The owner might have asked them both to take a photo as a memento, but she posted it on SNS for publicity?! Vast, as an agency of the actor asked them to take it down. Personally, I don’t think it involves anything about their relationship. My 2cents here.
I will read more about their lunch separately with their own manager, away from the crew.
I think shoppers don’t need to read too much details into this ahjumma photo, there are so many other hints and interactions that showed they are more than just friends/ coworkers.
Edit: it’s not common to have friends/ coworkers at their age (only really get to know each other for a little bit over a year) to travel/ meet oversea and do grocery shopping. Grocery shopping is already “domestic” enough, and their shopping items included snacks (night snacks), breakfast and dinner items... it’s like they are getting stuff to fill-in between meals, which I would assume they will eat out/ take away/ delivered.
Their age also get pass the hugs and kisses in the public, unlike many young couples will do. i will never expect dispatch/ paparazzi be able to take those photos. Unless they fly a drone inside their house... So, I think the grocery shopping speaks a lot and have a lot of weight. Just a thought and logic observation.

It's been sooooooo long since I posted here. I wasn't planning to post here again, but will break my rule this one time since it's a very very special occasion. It still feel surreal to me after almost 12 hours with the dispatch news, then their agencies confirmation and SYJ post on IG. It's been a ride and I would like to thank all of the shippers here to support my delulu mind (not delulu anymore), and being supportive when we are on a drought. Thank you @cybertron for creating this thread. Of course THANK YOU BINJIN for keeping me sane in the year 2020. Yay! Finally, our dream comes true!! HUGS!!!
