    Since first meeting the beautiful, and mega-talented Goo Hye Sun (as Yang Gukwha in 'Pure In Heart') she has been a magnet that attracts me to any project that she appears in. All of her Soompi fans ('Sunnies'), new and old, have found inspiration and have the utmost admiration to this incredibly talented, generous, and lovely young woman who has fans, of all ages, looking to her as an example of how to live one's life to the utmost and to cheerfully charge forth with no regrets while setting no limits upon one's dreams. Her abililies as an actress, artist, writer, director, songwriter, singer, and overall creative person are staggering in this day in age of specialization as she lives her life as a true Renaissance kind of person able to create new awakenings with seemingly every rise of the sun. 
    Her depiction of Yoo Rita, in 'Blood' reveals still another layer of the many, many layers of her talent. I never cease to be impressed with her abilities and take personal pride in all of her accomplishments, just by being one of her fans. Had anyone told me, nearly a decade ago, that this delicate young woman from land 10,000 miles from my own, born to a culture so different from my own would end up have such a huge impact upon my daily life I would have thought them to be dreaming. Watching Goo Hye Sun living her own dreams and also bringing so much joy, and pleasure, to so many fills me hope for my own life and sets an example for all of those, young and old who witness her successes and impact upon her loyal followers and those who she touches. 
    Though we may never meet on this earth, I love her like a  family member, and look forward to seeing and hearing about her as she moves from venture to venture. I fell in love with her the very first time that I saw her in her powder blue outfit looking over the bow of that ship arriving to Seoul from Yanbian as the irrepressible country girl, Yang Gukwha, and that love, and admiration, has grown stronger with each treat that she has given to me and her ever growing army of fans. Aja, Goo Hye Sun! The gift that keeps on giving...
    Maybe this message is a bit long, but it's not easy to stop once I get going on this particular subject.  8->

    I am also a huge fan of Lee Plimo and have been since he played the lead in the 2006 daily drama 'As the River Flows, We'll Meet By the River' (198 episodes) which was the first daily drama that I ever saw. He's usually played a lead-type character in longer dramas (as the lead female's love interest in Here Comes Ajumma (2007), as the second son, paired with Yoo Sun, in My Too Perfect Sons, (2009) and as Hwang Woo Seul Hee's love interest in My Love, My Family (2011.), but has been cast just below top billing in weekly series. Not always the main guy, but nearly always the most impactful screen presence. Much like the amazing Lee Yoon Ji, who has shone in every single drama she's appeared in by being the pertpetual "bridesmaid" despite her immense talent and likability. As long as both of these two keep showing up once or twice a year I'll be more than slightly bemused, but always happy to join them for the ride... ^:)^

    Yup, that's why she was the perfect embodiment of Geum Jandi, Yang Gukwha, Han Da-jin, and Goo Hye Sun. She will not be detered by any outside forces. If you knock her down, she will get back up. And, you'd better beware that spinning back kick... ;)

    I could have sworn that Yoo Rita, in episode 12 of Blood used her old petname putdown for The Iceman from Pure in Heart on her new iceman. Upon first meeting Park Yoon Hoo (Iceman) in  Pure in Heart she called him "JJiijjikee!" referring to his looks as she did for the Doctor before taking him clothes shopping. The only place that I could find it was in this segment where Gukwha gets married and flashbacks to earlier meeting between the couple appear at aroun 4:26 and 4:35. I'm quite certain that none of Goo Hye Sun's fans will mind reliving this part of that drama:

    I'm inclined to agree with @cheerkoo regarding the entertainment reporters in any country. :-q Being as we're all in the know about the Korean reporters, they do indeed seem to go after celebrities (particularly females) with shark-like visciousness. (Actress Lee Tae Im appears to be their latest feast.) Incredibly talented, hardworking, overly stressed, and sensitive people are chewed up by these hounds, and by crazy anifans and netizens to boot. This is no joke as people have actually taken their own lives at an alarming rate within the industry. Thank goodness that our Goo Hye Sun has her family, her pets, and millions of fans who support and love her. I know that she's strong and resilient (Jandi the weed ;))), but I'd still really like to give a lot of these clods "what for" at times! b-( [-X :)>-

    I'm happy to hear that @geumtrangdi enjoyed and recommends Pure 19, which I'd concur is essential viewing for all fans of Goo Hye Sun.  :-bd I would, however, suggest that those willing to take the plunge view the series in it's entirety as omitting the work of (and the loveline) of Lee Yoon Ji in this series would be a huge oversight. As I viewed this series during it's initail run, I immediately became a fan for life of these two charming, beautiful, and talented alumni of the NonStop series.  =D> To lose out on the cute story between Yoon Ji, and actor Lee Min Woo's characters would deprive oneself of many quality moments regarding this outstanding drama. For those unaware, or unfamiliar with the works of actress LYJ, getting acquainted with her should be on your "bucket list" of things to do. She will impress you in each, and every, drama in which she appears. This, I promise you... :)>-

    As I watched a few of the Nonstop 5 episodes, (all prejudice being a huge fan of hers aside) I thought that Hye Sun was best of the group. Her ability to create characters and her facial expressions are just priceless, and her comedic talents are incredible. =)) As you mentioned, she's great at playing the drunk. One of my favorite scenes from Pure 19 was of The Iceman giving a piggyback ride to a severely intoxicated Gukwha who uses his head as a bongo while singing a song. ;))

    DC fan found an article of a female singer who is a member of a group, B-something??But this singer (Leo?) highly praises GHS's song perfomed by Gummi to have helped her along when she was going through a real hard time. She listened to that song thousands of times and it was amazingly healing for her. She confirms healing element of music.


    Bravo to all the people who says positive things about our Koo-nim.Fighting Bravo!!Fighting GHS-nim!!Figning Sunnies!!(sorry but cannot do a lot focused translating these days.)

    I don't think that Hye Sun's selcas are neccessarily always reflective of her mood (at least I hope not!) [-O< So many of them have featured her without expression, but, you must admit, it's still a great look for her. :) That latest one reveals an incredibly smooth face and an immaculate complexion. She looks like a young teen to me. Maybe she really is a vampire... :-?  ;):)>-

    Often times, these awards appear to be ratings driven. 8-| That being said, I'm happy for those recognized and am truly proud of our Goo Hye Sun for another outstanding performance and another year of great accomplishements. Let's all hope the best for Blood and look forward to seeing Hye Sun striding up the podium at next years ceremony... :)>-
