Okay, don't mind me, I'm just in love with both of them, on screen and off. They're truly talented and dedicated actors, I feel lucky to be able to watch them together in a project. I read Gong Yoo's interview back in January and he clearly said that he wished to work with KGE. I'm suspicious that he's the one asking KES to cast her personally and KES couldn't say no to that since she's been wanting Gong Yoo as his leading man for years. I hope it's true tho, hahaha, that would be sweet.
Their romance in this drama might not the burning-with-passion and super hot kind of romance, but there's a sense of puppy, pure, first love at one time and in another time they can present us with this familiar, heartwarming, old-married couple vibes when they bicker. It's so refreshing to see their awkward skinship actually makes me giggly and giddy. And I keep waiting for those moments.

Though I like both actors but I feel they are quite professional, so they probably won't fall in love IRL. But I think SongSong couple has high chance and that's a couple I like too! Shipping them
P.S. for folks who just fell in love with Gong Yoo this year (like I did...), you should check out the Soompi forum thread of Gong Yoo (the actor). It has 1500+ pages and is filled with up to date info about him. I'm so amazed at all the fans who update it as well as the translated interviews which I could never find from Google search. I'm so happy and I bookmarked the forum to read during breaks at work. hee hee

I'm amazed GY is open with hand holding, crossing of arms and hugging! But he still looks lonely though all female attention is on him.
Wonder who his wife will be!

@hallee Yes! In ep 10, KS and ET orchestrated a double date where both of them tricked Sunny and GR to get roasted potatoes by the street. Then KS, ET and GR went home together and had a conversation in the hall. GR went to work and KS went to his room with bag of potatoes. In his room, he figured it out because they added 1 extra detail where ET shopped at the necklace stall. If you look at the earlier Canada scenes, they didn't show necklace stall scene at all.
It's not possible for ET to time travel to Canada after that day. She has no Canada currency. He was always with her at the park, so he knows she couldn't have bought it on her own. So he deduced that he has to be the one to buy it for her, because he is the only one who can.

I've been rewatching the eps and I think GY looks the most natural in this scene! (please jump to 1:34)
There are some moments where his real emotions and his acting merge into one and I think this is one example.
It's authentic and gentle and he really looks like he is emitting true love here. It seems like he really enjoys acting and being in this moment.
He's so dashing and I love it when his ears turn red in romantic scenes with ET

@cristapark @blademan yes the second kiss seems natural and GY's response seems surprised! I thought it might be ad-lib too, but is it possible? Wouldn't it be disrespecting the script, director and writer? It will be so great if there is BTS for this!

I love Kim Go Eun's acting... she's talented and I hope people see her value!
I think Kim Go Eun's worth as an actress is her untouched natural face. She looks natural, without any cosmetic surgery. That alone allows the audience to easily connect with her when viewing her performance.
Same goes for GY, he has always maintained his looks naturally.
That was my first impression when watching CITT and why I love KGE as an actress. The value of an authentic, natural face is very high, especially when contrasted with the many actresses who went under the knife.

(i guess China should have)... so what's the problem? if we can't accept Ahjussi love, when it has handled skinship in the mininum until the female character reach adult-age... how can we handle Noona Romance like La Dolce Vita (which is acted by alluring Lee Dongwook and Oh Yeonsoo which is actually 45 aged), or Secret Love Affair (Yoo Ah-in and Kim Hee-ae aged 49). do note that Gongyoo is just 37 while Kim Go-Eun is 25, what is 12 years. but if we want to factor in Kim Shin's 939 yrs.. then KS as well rot as a virgin-boy, because there will never be another 900 years old human being or goblin, unless we are talking about Birth Hamoni as a worthy for 900 yrs old bride. if not, not human being can match the age-gap of goblin Kim shin. while Kim Go eun, match Gongyoo fine (and we are not even talking about ship them in real person.) right?below are a list ahjussi romance Kdrama, and can't you see, our GongYoo should be one of the Best among them, if not The Best:

@hallee It may be because he knows where the necklace stall is and it may not be there forever. He also saw ET shopping at the park and knows she likes it. Knowing about it and discovering that he is part of her future by buying a necklace for her, he did not hesitate as he wants to be part of her future.

Happy new year everyone!
It's the first time I'm so obsessed about a Korean drama. Thanks to all for the live recaps and the interesting fan-cams which I will otherwise not be able to find on my own.
I predict that there will be some separation next week for Ep 11-12. It's because ET has her own money now and can support herself. The writer probably needs this to come in because something will happen plot-wise where ET has to support herself.
To the friends who pointed out that the little boy being bullied is the one that Red Lady saved in the hospital... thank you! I didn't notice this at first.
Same goes for the Sun Mirror. It skipped my focus throughout the episodes and until now I'm not really sure what the mirror really does. I did notice that the drama used a lot of reflections during filming scenes. I wonder why.-

I think Red Lady is Deity of Birth and Children, she's in charge of this jurisdiction.
God is currently still depicted as White Butterfly. But maybe they will get a guest star for God. Just a thought.
I'm curious to see KS with Sunny.
Just my two cents on Sunny, though she's a Queen, her character isn't wishy washy and always straight to the point. In her first scene, she disregards her relationship with her brother and tells him to just go ahead and approach the king. In her modern chicken-shop-boss role, she's cool too.
And, the writer is super skilled. She planned the plot in this way that KS sent his bride to his sister. ET will be well taken care of there.
Yet, KS and Sunny had never met in this lifetime.I also find it interesting, from what I see, many Koreans are Christians. Yet, the writer can create this complex world of destiny that reflects very Asian values, at least from my understanding.
Probably because the audience doesn't know how the plot will unfold... it keeps everyone hanging on for the next episode.
Now I can't wait for next weekend to come, for the new episodes.

I'm new!
Finally, I found a place where I can discuss my latest drama obsession Goblin!
Hi everyone!
I have a couple of questions.
1. What did KS write in ET's book of poems? The words in red? The subs did not cover it...
2. Did anyone realize that GR ultimately allowed KS to sleep in his room in the previous episode? Even though he told him initially to sleep in the living room. I just thought that is one of many clues that they are having a true friendship
Lastly... jealousy did help a lot for KS to fully realize his feelings! I wonder if it's true in real life too, jealousy as a tool to realize true love.

@princess nour90 Have you watched A Man and A Woman? You may like it. I liked it very much. I first watched Train to Busan, fell in love and went to watch Coffee Prince for the first time this year. Then I started on Goblin and decided to watch A Man and A Woman. Hope you like it too.
