    This fandom needs to be in this together. Guys, we only have co-shoppers to cling to and our motto #ingrocerywetrust. I agree with @itspeanutbutterjellytime that it feels like cold water was splashed to my face. Probably because the first denials, I wasn't a full-time shipper yet. I think it goes the same for the others who reacted the same way. But this thread, I would like to believe, would always be a safe haven for everyone to express their love and hopes for BinJin. I will continue to check this thread in the future, until such time we get a finality to it. Co-shoppers, you're the best!

    Good morning!!! Day 2 post-CLOY adjustment period.

     

    I have read a lot of positive and (I don't want to say negative) skeptical insights about SYJ and HB's relationship IRL. Let us be understanding of each other please as there are quite some shoppers who are shipping for the first time. Thank you to my constant co-shoppers @Jellysshi @YuSanSeul @lavanta @kriswu @AnnieCheesecake @cybertron and so many more (I apologize if I forgot to mention anyone) for sticking together in the prayer circle. I always love your insights about the subtle movements and secret codes. I am quite slow in that department but y'all are like so keen in noticing the little gestures. Ahhhhh those make my heart flutter amidst a super stressful day at work/in transit. Thank you guys for being active in this thread, kind, and appreciative of one another.

     

    SYJ and HB is so cute when they both lost their balance and HB had to turn around dragging YJ with him. They're so playful. Heehee

     

    I miss them ALL already. Send help. :bawling:

    Comrades, I am really happy we're in this together. Probably, it's just a matter of perspective, yeah? Whether they are an item, not an item, friends, or more than friends.. I will try my best to appreciate the things that we loved BinJin for.

     

    Fangirling and shipping are truly not for the faint-hearted. Let's all stay in this prayer circle until we reach our destination. :)

    This is what makes me confused with BinJin. Tbh, this is my first time to ship this hard so I might be wrong with my observations and all. The first pair I shipped was Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri primarily because I was rooting for Kim Jung Hwan to be the husband. There wasn't anything special with their bts as well since Hyeri has always been playful. Shipped them full-time when they were being obvious at the tvN Awards. Then, they were outed by Dispatch and they admitted.

     

    With BinJin, it's really difficult because the bts and interviews are saying something but then again, they go back to the safe side at times. So I'm really skeptical at times, especially when they seem to deliberately troll us by being sweet and clingy and all that. And the fact that they denied it twice already last year makes it twice as difficult to ship 100%. I want to be logical about how hard I'll be shipping because I don't want to get hurt in the end (my fangirl heart, that is).

     

    Then again, we go back to #InGroceryWeTrust, the subtle movements in the interviews and promos, the extra closeness in the bts.. and we're shipping hard again.

     

    Omooooo.. someone should have warned me before I signed up for this.

    haha. that's how i felt! like it was a second too slow for it to be preplanned;)

    AMEN TO THIS! Yes, my goodness, there was a bit of hesitation before the kiss. But it was perfect!

    Why is Hyun Bin oppa and Son Ye Jin unnie looking so perfect in those pictures in Switzerland? I super agree that the photos looked more like from a pre-nup photo shoot. Can the universe please make this translate to real life as well? Jebal. I promise to wait and pray fervently.

     

    Regarding the alternate ending, it's safe yet satisfying in my opinion. The marriage with twins ending would have been the best, but realistically, it would not sit well with the political parties in SK and NK. Heck, some conservative parties even say that CLOY is romanticizing NK and threatened to put a stop to it, right? Just curious through: Has there been an incident like this before, in which a SK fell in love with a NK outside their countries and got married?

     

    The epilogue tied everything neatly with a bow, although it would be left to the viewer's imagination on whether they settled for a 2-week rendezvous every year, or if the scene was supposed to be set a couple of years after their fated meeting in the mountains (Yes, that scene which was writer-nim's response to our clamor for a better kiss from HB and SYJ).

     

    Thing is, I would always wonder how beautiful SYJ looked in a hanbok while standing next to HB. Unless they include this as a bonus in the DVD or something.

     

    Episode 16 was really something for the books. Not only because of the ending and the epilogue, but also because of the final parting scene at the border. Gaaaaaahd, give these two all the acting awards for 2020!

     

    P.S. tvN, I am still waiting for the bts. I need to continue with my research and other stuff at work so please release it now for my motivation and sanity's sake.

     

    P.P.S. CEO Kim, you have gotten your wish of 22% viewership (and so much more, y'know). Perhaps we can allow some photos from the wrap-up party or some outtakes, yes?

     Didn’t you love the scene in the woods with the bad general (Just before RJH’s dad appeared),... MB was ready to protect RJH, then JH changed positions to protect him. But then his men were ready to protect RJH (they surrounded him and made like a wall with their bodies!) WOW... I was already crying and seeing them doing that... ahhh my heart!  

    YES!!! I loved that scene. Company Five and MB is a solid group in hell and high waters. I'm gonna miss them!

    I truly hope so. Arghhhh, I will be having a 6-month leave from watching K-Dramas because of CLOY. It's truly bittersweet.

     

    Until such time that BinJin ends in marriage, perhaps my shipper heart would be restless.

    Tbh, after everything that we've seen thus far - past interviews, behind the scenes, Swoon videos - I don't know what would convince me to believe the denials issued by Vast and MSTeam. The subtle parallelism (a.k.a shade c/o writer-nim) interjected in the episodes (paparazzi shot, grocery boy, how RJH mimics YSR) - they either want to make a fool out of us or they just threw caution to the wind since they can't do anything about whatever's between BinJin anyway. :phew:
