From my part of the world, it's already Christmas! Sending everyone a heartfelt Christmas greeting and here's to hoping that 2017 will be in Bogum's words a blessing like 2016 to Bogum and all of us here!
It has been a very rewarding and heartwarming year for us, Bogum fans. Of course, it had some low moments but I guess we needed it because we have been spoiled with many very good things that happened to Bogum this year.
I couldn't join you in watching the Awards Night yesterday as I was caught up with Christmas preparations and reunions but was checking the updates every now and then. Thanks soo much to those who posted!
@sara2908, @mai5116, @MichelleBG, @justgummy, and @dahae2006, many thanks for the Soompi vote support for Bogum! @dahae2006 also for tagging! MDBC is 2nd in the drama adaptation category, and Bogum's "My Dearest" is at 3rd as of last night. His name is not surfacing yet in the top three for the actors category. My take about the Soompi Awards is that it will help cement Bogum's Hallyu status since this is the most prestigious Korean entertainment site for international fans.
Talking about the Awards Night, I marvel at the media mileage it's getting from the news that he and Irene awill be co-presenting and that he will also be reuniting with Hyeri. Bogum must really be a huge star in SK for media to write about it.
Another thing that caught my attention was his height compared to Irene. Bogum has such a boyish aura that you think he's still precisely a boy and then when you see long shots of him, you get surprised by his towering figure!
Sorry for the long post. My heart is full of happiness for Bogum's blessings this year. I share the same sentiment expressed in this tweet:

Park Bogum named 2016’s top Korean drama actor

Published December 22, 2016, 7:05 PMYoung actor Park Bogum, who starred in the hit series “Reply 1988” and “Love in the Moonlight,” has been chosen in a poll as the number one TV drama actor for 2016.
The 23-year-old star garnered 35.2% to top the yearend Gallup Korea poll, which asked 1,700 Koreans aged 13 and above to pick their top drama actors of the year.
He edged out Song Joong Ki, the star of the hit drama “Descendants of the Sun,” who placed second with 28.1%.

Song Joong Ki’s co-star Song Hye Kyo is third with 12.6 % while Kim Yoo Jung of “Love in the Moonlight” placed fourth with 8.2% and Jo Jung-suk of “Jealousy Incarnate” finished fifth with 4.6%.
Actress Ra Mi Ran, a “Reply 1998” star who is currently in the drama “The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop,” got sixth place with 3.4%.
The seventh to tenth places are Gong Hyo Jin of “Jealousy Incarnate,” 3.2%; Go Doo-Shim of “Our Gap-soon,” 3%; Jun Ji Hyun of “Legend of the Blue Sea,” 2.9%; and Kim Hee Ae of “The Second Last Love,” 2.6%.

A high touch is a high five. But you can certainly choose to do a handshake instead. That allows you a little more time to give your well wishes which was what I did.
I saw the twitter war this a.m. but I thought it was just between fans with Bogum's on the defense because of the attacks. I personally thought the attacks were absurd but I thought it better to ignore and spread positivity. But if you say that this person went as far as attacking Bogum, then that's a different question altogether. It's best, however, to be "Bogum-like" in dealing with this pitiful person. She must so unhappy to spread unhappiness.
