  1. @dahae2006: Let's get those wish lanterns so we can get a shot at it, too. :) I'd be happy joining him in the eating segment as I also love to eat.

But after looking at the pics below, I am torn...I think I'll just go for this one...I can just binge anytime.

While the THAAD controversy weighed heavily on the K-drama industry in the second half of the year, "Love in the Moonlight" was notable for the sensation it created around its lead actor Park Bo-gum.

After playing a prodigy Go player in "Reply 1988," the 23-year-old returned in the KBS series in August as a charming crown prince who falls in love with a woman disguised as a eunuch.

Boosted by Park's popularity, the period series posted a viewership high of 23.3 percent and received positive reviews for everything from its lighthearted humor and fast pace to its colorful scenery and lavish costumes befitting the royal court of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).

With just 2 weeks left of 2016, lets break down the top 5 best dramas of the year.

There were more popular dramas to release this year than the years before and many cable broadcast companies were successful as well.

tvN beat mainstream broadcast companies and hit an all-time high of 38.8% viewer ratings with a mini-series.

This April, KBS released "Descendants of the Sun" and started off the year on a good note. Actors Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo took the spotlights and captured the hearts of viewers with their love story. The last episode took a 38.8% viewer rating and created the "Descendants of the Sun" syndrome.

May and June were taken over by "Oh Hae-Young Again" with its romantic comedy theme. Seo Hyeon-jin and Jeon Hye-bin had viewers laughing and crying with the actors. The last episode had high viewer ratings as well.

Next comes "The Sun and the Moon" with Park Bo-geom and Kim Yoo-jeong. These two young actors showed great quality acting in the historical drama.

Most recently is SBS "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim" which features Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyeon-jin. This medical drama shows a mixture of hope, growth and love. The viewer ratings have been high for its time slot and is continuing to increase with each passing week.

tvN is on a winning streak for dramas this year. Their newest drama, "Goblin", has been hit the record for the highest viewer rating in just 2 weeks. They aired a special 90 minute episode for the first three episodes and captured the viewer's attention.

With the standard and quality of dramas rising, many are anticipating next year's releases as well.

Of course, all the success would not be possible without Yoojung's great acting and chemistry with Bogum
