willenette
So Ji-sub declines offer to star in new Netflix series by ‘Love Alarm 2’ director Korean star So Ji-sub has taken a pass on joining Exemplary Family, Netflix’s upcoming Korean original crime series. On March 15, So’s agency 51K announced, “After receiving the script for the Netflix drama Exemplary Family, we carefully discussed [So Ji-sub’s] appearance and eventually arrived at the final decision.” They added, “Considering various factors, the arrangements could not push through. He is currently looking for his next work.” Exemplary Family follows an ordinary family, which, while on the verge of falling apart due to bankruptcy and internal feuds, discovers two dead bodies and five billion KRW. Realizing that they have gotten involved with a dangerous drug ring, the family members decide to stick together and become a model family in order to survive. Currently, Jung Woo (Reply 1994) and Yoon Jin-seo (The Royal Gambler) are reviewing proposals to portray lead roles in the series. So Ji-sub (My Secret, Terrius) was offered to play the character Ma Kwang-cheol, the quick-witted and cruel second-in-command of a drug ring. He used to operate small-time entertainment bars and gambling places, but when he caught the interest of a drug ring’s big boss, Kwang-cheol got scouted for a management position. One day, some members of their cartel who were tasked to deliver money for a merchant ship disappear. While tracking them down, he crosses paths with a seemingly perfect, ordinary family and gets entangled in their risky affairs. Anticipation is now directed to whether another actor, one as renowned as So Ji-sub, will soon take on such challenging role. Meanwhile, the 43-year-old multitalented entertainer is on the radar for his upcoming films Confession and Alien. Exemplary Family will be spearheaded by Love Alarm 2 director Kim Jin-woo. source : https://www.mk.co.kr/star/hot-issues/view/2021/03/245340/

willenette
12 “Enemies To Lovers” K-Drama Couples With Fiery Chemistry We all love this trope. In K-dramas, when a man and woman meet and absolutely despise each other, they are quick to discover that they may actually have feelings for each other. There is a fine line between love and hate after all, am I right? This trope is always successful in bringing all the feels as we’re able to see the cold-hearted OTP turn from being hateful and angry towards each other to being warm and loving. Here are 12 “enemies to lovers” K-drama couples that exude intense chemistry. Disclaimer: We’re talking SIZZLING, too hot to handle, chemistry! 8. “Master’s Sun” Gong Hyo Jin plays Tae Gong Sil, a girl who barely gets enough sleep at night because she’s constantly being pestered by dead people wanting her to do things for them. But when she meets Joo Joong Won (So Ji Sub), she finds out that when she touches him, she doesn’t see the dead people. The two start off despising each other, but because Gong Sil is able to find peace when she’s around Joong Won, she’s pretty clingy. The two embark on a weird relationship and somehow end up falling in love with each other. Yes, there is yet another Gong Hyo Jin drama on this list because it has to be mentioned. When you have Gong Hyo Jin and So Ji Sub as the main leads, you can darn well expect some squeal-worthy kiss scenes. So Ji Sub as Joo Joong Won is hilarious, especially with his detestation for Gong Sil and continually pushing her away despite her “need” for him. As the tables turn, Joong Won wears his heart on his sleeve and the intimate scenes they share with each other give all the butterflies and feels!
