I just got some interesting news So the K wave hit Sri Lanka in late 2012 and now finally they are showing some Minho dramas!!  YAYAYAYAYIt's dubbed in Sinhalese as all the other k-dramas were but i'm so thrilled because it means Minho will become even more popular than he already is..after all, who can resist the dashing Gu Jun Pyo right?? (plus it's great coverage coz it's on weekdays on one of the major channels at 8.30 pm -- right after the daily news which is when everyone has their tvs on )

@jellylovesfaith Funny you mention about Sri Lanka, because I just came across an article in Korea's AsiaToday that talked about Minho's "unusual" popularity in many countries particularly in Latin America where Idols, not Actors, seem to reign.  
Hope someone translates THIS but GT (google translate) suggests (pardon for errors):> Minho's MINOZ clubs are leading the way in promoting Korean culture around the world;>Minoz Chile, in particular, was invited by the Korean Embassy in Chile to participate in the K-Pop Fair in the Dominican Republic because of their knowledge of Korean culture (dance, songs, etc.);> K-Pop Fairs showcase Korean dance, fashion, so usually participated in by Idol bands' fan clubs, so it's unusual that a K-Actor's fan club is active in this type of fairs. >Starhaus was quoted in saying that although Minho does not attend these events, he is thankful that his fans are active in representing him in promoting appreciation for Korean culture in many parts of the world.  
Truly, the world has become his oyster.  I really hope to see him greet his fans outside of Asia because I believe that the experience would bolster his (and his company's) confidence in building his legacy beyond just being a Hallyu star but as a global superstar.

Hello!  I couldn't find the New Thread ( I thought it is supposed to me under my name at the top right, but there is nothing there)   only this reply box although  his really isn't a reply.  I have been obsessed with Lee Min Ho for a couple of weeks. I kinda wish i can find a video where he is picking his nose, spitting or something equally gross so I can get over this obsession!  LOL.   I started by watching Faith (still haven't finished although I cheated and saw the ending) and City Hunter (on the last episode,but also cheated and know the ending).  I plan to buy Boys over flowers and Heirs.  I'm unsure about Personal Taste (is that the name?) and may watch it on the internet unless someone convinces me otherwise.  I've also been watching and watching the you tube videos mostly the ones at the airport--thank you for those who keep posting those videos!.  
I tried organize my thoughts, but ended up being somewhat rambling.    
1. Looks--Geez where do you start?  He is very cute with the bangs--the best July 3, 2014 video at  Daegu airport  (oh he looks so cute squirming in his seat) and  K-star lovers april 2014 (very natural).  He just takes your breath away when his hair is brushed off his forehead-wow is he handsome.  i was shocked when I first a picture of him without the bangs.  But, I really do not like that photo of him when he hit 10 million likes on facebook--way too cutesy and feminine.  I have to say that I'm really not attracted to Asian men being brought up in the US where IMO, the standard of good looking are Caucasians.  But, LMH really doesn't look Asian, which is probably what caught my eye.   His best feature-probably no argument, are his eyes.  As many have already posted, there is so much emotion radiating from his eyes when he acts.  His CY eyes are different from the YS eyes which are also different from the LMH eyes.  It really is amazing to look at his eyes and notice the differences.  I think that he has become more handsome as he has gotten older --similar to a George Clooney who was cute when he was young but now handsome and distinguished looking in his 50s.  
2.  Body--I love that he is so tall because it makes for great videos at the airport.  Imagine if he was only 5'8" you probably wouldn't be able to see him in a crowd of people.  Originally, I planned to write that he needs a more athletic body, but I looked at the City Hunter videos and decided his upper body, in that drama, is pretty good.  He should continue to work on his fitness for his long range health and because he seems a little clumsy.  Yes, he is still young, it is better if you start early and make fitness a priority.  Some of my friends in their 50s and even 60s, are in very good shape and it is because they have been working out for years.  Sorry to get on my soapbox, but I really do feel strongly about fitness--for everyone, just not LMH.
3.  Other--He has a funny laugh for someone with a deep voice. I love how he really connects with his fans at the fan meeting--he looks at each woman as if she is really special.  I'm not too fond of watching his concerts--he actually has a pretty good voice, but his actions on stage seem forced and not natural for him.  Maybe in time it will become more natural for him.  He seems like a genuinely nice sweet person who is actually pretty sensitive and can be hurt by mean words.
4.  Career--I know nothing about Korean entertainment and wonder what is the longevity for the actors and actresses. I would appreciate knowing the answer.  He is an incredibly hard worker.  I watched the BTS of City Hunter and he works almost to the point of exhaustion.  I hate that he, and the other Korean male actors, have to serve in the military at the prime of their career.  I know it isn't fair to give them special treatment but perhaps some leeway such as serving for 3-4 months at a time.  They do bring positive attention to Korea and it deserves some recognition.   I hope that he can add to his resume by acting in some Hollywood movies, but I think it would be a long tough road.  I do think he should be in People magazine 50 most beautiful people.  I tried, but couldn't figure out to bring him to the editors attention.  
4.  Safety--While it is well documented that he loves his fans, I think he should be a little more careful.  I've read some of the posts on his Facebook page and some of them concern me.  Some are mad that he doesn't reply to their messages and if i remember correctly one threatened to kill herself unless he responded.   I hope that he does not read those posts; it really isn't fair to him.  I would love for him to respond to me, but I know it is not realistic.  We all want him around for a long time.
Sorry for the long post.  I'm not sure if the drafts are saved so I can add to them so I am going to post this and perhaps go back and edit it.

Lee Minho to hold global fan meets across Asia and America

Lee Minho, one of Asia’s most recognizable stars worldwide, is scheduled to take his fan meetings from Asia to the Americas.  Last year, it was recorded that 52,000 tickets were sold in eight Asian cities. This year, he will start his tour in Seoul before heading to cities like Beijing and Tokyo.

This year’s fan meet is titled “Re:Minho” and Star House Entertainment revealed that the concept was, “As if restarting a computer, this tour is to symbolize a new start. Fans will be able to see new and different images of Lee Minho.” 

It was also revealed that Lee Minho will be venturing to the Americas, marking the spread of Korean culture, especially K-pop and K-dramas, not just in Asia but to the Western world as well. 

Also, having 15.4 million likes on his official Facebook, Lee Minho is the most popular star in Korea, with even more likes than any K-pop idol. This makes him stand at number 16 worldwide, solidifying his position even amongst global actors and actresses!
