I dunno if I'll audition, because I have a lot of other projects and collab stuff I already comitted myself too XD

But I just wanted to say that I think that's really awesome that you're willing to help your artists train that way!!! It really shows your dedication. Even if I don't try out, I'm still going to support you guys ^^

well it depends on how much you are willing to spend. most beginners either

get like logitech mics (they are pretty cheap). for example, this is one of the

logitech mics...

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-980186-0403...e/dp/B00009EHJV

you should get the mics that have the USB plug in. if you have no budget limit, then the next

level mics that a lot of people whom i know of including myself uses SAMSON brand.

here's an example....

http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...cfm?prodID=1810

mine is a bit more expensive than that one and it looks different. SAMSON brand has good quality &

easy to use mics.

i suggest that you browse around the internet, or if you cannot purchase online,

then just go to your local best buy or any other entertainment stores. they should

have mics. i know that best buy has logitech mics for like $10-$25 [:

well... it depends on your soundcard. if you have a good soundcard in your

computer, then it might be a bit better. logitechs (the one that i showed you)

has decent quality. the quality isn't bad, but it's not that great either. i had one

before and honestly, mine sucked so i bought a SAMSON one. if you want a good

quality mic, then i suggest that you get SAMSON.

This sounds very different and interesting. I'm very interested in joining and I'll be buying my mic soon, but I was wondering how long these auditions will last? Do they have a certain time period?

I'm thinking about closing the singing auditions on February 1st. School starts for me next monday, so I need to focus more on school and start preparing songs for the singers who made it. [:

LOL!

Ok thanks! Yeah I'm looking for a good, "pro" sounding mic right now... And I'm soo glad that the USB mics are out now! Because my old headsets and Desktop mics are a real pain the richard simmons. =.=" xD

for the clip of your voice, does it have to be a full song or could it be just like a minute.

i found a mic that i had since i was 5, and recorder thing only records for 60 seconds O_O"

a minute is too short. i suggest that you download a recording program like goldwave or audacity. at least 2 minutes and you cannot skip the bridge.
