‘Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village3’ is an outdoor variety program that cooks every meal on the casts’ own. Lee Seo Jin, Eric and Yoon Kyun Sang feature in it.

Shinhwa's Eric says Eun Ji Won influenced his decision to go on 'Three Meals a Day'

 

On October 13, Lee Seo Jin, Shinhwa's Eric, and Yoon Kyun Sang attended the press conference for the upcoming season of tvN's 'Three Meals a Day' in the fishing village!

Eric, who revealed that he'd been hesitant about appearing on the show at first due to his reserved personality, opened up about the factors that influenced his decision to join the cast in the end. He shared, "I've always liked '1 Night, 2 Days' and was envious when I saw Eun Ji Won (from Sechskies) on it. When you perform on stage as a singer or act in a production as an actor, it's all work. I thought it would be enjoyable to work in a great setting with great people like on '1N2D'. The envy I had toward that still lingered, which influenced my decision to go on the show."

Which Shinhwa member does Eric want to see visiting him and his crew during the show? Eric answered, "If one of the members were to come, I'd recommend Andy. He and I are similar, but he's not as reserved about meeting people as I am. He cooks well, he's neat, and he's crafty. If Andy comes, I feel like I won't have to do anything."

2016.10.13 ‘THREE MEALS A DAY’ LEE SEOJIN X SHINHWA’S ERIC X YOON GYUNSANG BOARDING ON ‘SEOJINI-HO’ (BOAT), EXPECTING SAFE SAILING

‘Three Meals a Day – Fishing Village’ 3rd season has started. Lee Seojin who’s the eldest and the captain of ‘Seojini-ho’ (Seojini boat), with Eric and Yoon Gyunsang joining the team, are giving the viewers the fresh excitement and joy.
On October 13th, In the Selena hall at the Imperial Palace Hotel located in Seoul Gangnam Nonhyun-dong, the press conference of tvN ‘Three Meals a Day - Fishing Village 3’ was held. This day, not only Na Youngsuk PD and Yang Jungwoo PD who directed the show but also the cast Lee Seojin, Eric, and Yoon Gyunsang were present.

This fishing village episodes are anticipated because it’s going to be Lee Seojin’s first Fishing Village experience since he was on the Farm Village season. Lee Seojin will be trying to have 3 meals in Deukryang island, located in Southern sea of Korea, with two younger brothers Eric and Yoon Gyunsang.

Na Youngsuk PD talked about the reason why he chose Deukryang-do as comparison to last island Manjae-do, “I think Jungsun was the best place for ‘Three Meals a Day’, It was really hard to find a place like that. I went to a lot of places for filed investigations and came to find Deukryang-do by coincidence. The wave is not so harsh so beginner boater like Lee Seojin can naviage safely. Also it wasn’t so far from the mainland and you have access to many kinds of seafood, that’s why I liked it.”

There must be a hardship for Lee Seojin to live in Fishing Village since he’s only been to Farm Villages. But he said “Cha Seungwon told me Fishing Village will be much more harder, but I don’t think so yet. There was really nothing in Jungsun but here they have frying pan and pots, even toilets. It’s better environment.”
 

But with that comment, he added “One thing I felt sorry was I’m and addict to visiting towns. When I felt stuck I used to go out and wander around but you can’t do that here so that was little bit suffocating” showing his longing for farm village episodes.

Lee Seojin and Yoon Gyunsang also complimented Eric’s cooking while talking about fishing village life. Lee Seojin said “When guys say when they can cook but It’s often disappointing, but Eric was different. He’s really good at cooking and he can cook most of the foods. I was surprised to hear that he learned most of them through TV.”

Yoon Gyunsang also said “Eric’s cooking is amazing. It thought It was unexpected”, made people have high expectations.
For the last part Na Youngsuk PD explained about the 3’s distinctive characters. “The 3’s Chemistry is really good. Eric can be shy but he was in the drama ‘Firebird’ with Lee Seojin 12 years ago. He had good memories with Lee Seojin. I think he will do good with Lee Seojin.” He also added “Lee Seojin is doing well as usual, Gyunsang gets along well with hyungs being the youngest.”

Above the all the most noticeable thing on this season is the boat that was given to Lee Seojin called ‘Seojini-ho’. He challenged to get the ‘boat license’ by suggestion of the production. He uses ‘Seojini-ho’ and takes the responsibility to get the food with the other 2. He practiced hard riding the boat on Han river, It will be a good point to focus to see If his ‘Seojini-ho’ will sail with peace.

‘Three Meals a Day – Fishing Village 3’ will be first on air on Friday October 14th, at 9:15 pm

Lee Seojin from ‘Three Meals a Day – Fishing Village 3’ complimented Eric’s cooking skills.

tvN ‘Three Meals a Day fishing village 3’ press conference was held on the 13^th at Imperial Palace Hotel located in Seoul, Gangnam Gu, Nonhyun-dong. Lee Seojin said “When guys say they can cook, it’s often disappointing. But Eric was different.”

He also said “I wasn’t the only one who were surprised. He’s good at cooking most of the foods. It was surprising to hear that he learned cooking from TV. I think TV education broadcasting can make you get into college”, made people laugh.

Anticipation was high up with him adding “This Fishing Village episodes are expected to have better quality of food thanks to Eric.”

‘Three Meals a Day – Fishing Village 3’ is a variety program showing the daily fishing village life of 3 men who left to Deukryan-do, Lee Seojin·Yoon Gyunsang·Eric. Will be first on air on 14^th 9:15 pm.

It's not a surprise for us fans (or who had watched Shinhwa Broadcast's Home Cook segment that Eric can cook pretty good but I didn't know he could cook THAT WELL... Just the way he hold the knife while chopping, looks pro already.. I can't chop like that lol

Handsome man, who can also cook really well is a great catch.  I don't think he'll be do most of the cooking on a daily basic though (more like too busy to XD)

 

2016.10.13 THREE MEALS A DAY FISHING VILLAGE 3 - SHINHWA’S ERIC: “I LEARNED COOKING THROUGH TV. IT’S ROUTINE FOR ME”

“Three Meals A Day - Fishing Village 3″ members confessed that they were stunned by Eric’s cooking.

On October 13th, Imperial Palace hotel located in Gangnam-gu, Nonhyun-dong, tvN ‘Three Meals A Day - Fishing Village 3’ production presentation was held, Lee Seo Jin, Eric, Yoon Gyunsang, Na Youngsuk PD and Yang Junwoo PD were present.

During the press conference, Eric revealed, “It was my routine to cook at home watching TV after the drama. Cooking wasn’t bad but It took me a long time because I was missing basic cooking utensils.”

Eric also said “I watched Three Meals A Day – Manjae Island’ and thought they would have basic things, but it’s tvN’s 10th anniversary so they said they were going back to the basic, and there was really nothing. But the ingredients were really good quality and the island produces high-end ingredients so It was fun to cook.”

Yoon Gyunsang who tasted Eric’s cooking said “When I first heard we were going to the island I was worried if we had to eat rice and soy sauce only, but Junghyuk-hyung was really good at cooking. I had really good food and the Bongole pasta he made was better than restaurant made. I got a crush on him on that day”, revealed his love towards Eric, making people laugh.

Lee Seojin also mentioned “It’s always the same when guys cook even though they say they can cook. I’ve already experienced it with Ok Taecyeon, but I was surprised by Eric’s cooking this time. Not only Bongole pasta but everything, and it was really surprising that he learned all the cooking through TV.”  He also said to Eric, “I think now you can get into good college with TV education broadcasting”, made crowd laugh again.

Also showed his expectation by saying “This fishing village episodes will have better quality of foods thanks to Eric.”

‘Three Meals A Day - Fishing Village 3’ was made a splash because Lee Seojin from Farm Village was going to Fishing Village. This season, Shinhwa’s Eric and actor Yoon Gyunsang join the team and head to their new island Deukryang-do. First airdate is October 14th at 9:15pm.
