[08.05.31][News] Junjin dreams of Shinhwa's second bloom

Shinhwa member Junjin has disclosed their plans for the future.

Although Shinhwa has brought us their 9th album in April this year, they have not carried out any promotional activities. This has brought about rumours of them disbanding, a disturbing news for their fans.

In a recent CBS Radio programme hosted by Yu Ji Soo (FM 93.9Mhz), when asked about Shinhwa's plans Junjin replies, "After the members come out from the army, we will resume our activities," "That is when it will be Shinhwa's second blooming period."

Carrying out his activities as a solo singer, Junjin has performed his title track "Wa' as well as the ballad 'Painful Love', gathering much enthusiasm from the audience.

For me BEST clips are Loveletter Season 1. There are 7 episodes and no matter I much I watch them, I still love it. And besides, this is first time I actually heard Eric sing little when they were serenading the female guest.

i agree! loveletter season 1 episodes are/were the best, esp. the ones with shinhwa. no matter how many times you watch them, you can't help but laugh out loud. i really miss those days. the brand new days.

the loveletter season 2 eps with jindy are also fun. but when they left, everything went downhill.

this is kind of in a way unrelated. sry mods i want to share this.

so my little cousin came over and he's like two. and i open the door and i see him wearing a complete nothing else, no words or anything on his t-shirt pure orange xD and i was like "omg! orange!!" and my eyes were like O_______O. haha i was like "whered u get him it?" and my aunt who is korean was like " oh well i think that orange fits him verryy welll" and i was like  haha yes she knows me and shinhwa moments. xD

I was just reading a Korean article about promotion.

I really delved into the story and got hooked.

It was around 9 pages typed by this head honcho writer for a Korean Entertainment Company.

I was thinking about my Shinhwa and compared their promotion with other groups.

I didn't want to say this but I want to speak my mind.

I am seriously jealous of SM's immense promotion tactics on their clients (Super Junior, TVXQ, etc).

Only if Shinhwa received similar promotions around the world and even in Korea.

I just love Shinhwa but I wish they would move to a different entertainment.

Perhaps, back to SM? LOL

That'll never happen. I know the whole situation between them since long time ago.

But, I cannot wait for their second blooming period in 3~5 years.

Funny sidenote: My sis hasn't been keeping up w/ Shinhwa cuz of school, and she JUST saw the Shinhwa goods the new ones and the ones that were posted before (fragrance, hair pins, etc). She's so obssessed now, she says "I want to wake up in the morning and say 'oh today I want to smell like Jinnie!'" - so silly!

Ack, I would never want Shinhwa to go back to that place. They really.. grr. I'm still a bit bitter about them. I'm also still pretty bitter about the whole "Shinhwa had to buy their name for more than what SM offered them to stay" thing. Aish... there's many things I'm bitter about with that place. Shinhwa made a great decision moving on. But I have to admit that Goodemg is also lacking; but Shinhwa really respects that company and is working hard to keep the company up.

Anyway, second blooming for sure!

but remember this is what they wanted..

remember the promotions for the 7th album.. it was like massive.. they even had a variety show

because they wanted it.. it would be easy to have promotions like the other groups for shinhwa, but right now, reading all their interviews, this was how they wanted to promote the album, not because GoodEMG doesnt want to promote them..

i dont want them back in SM.. ever again, even if they parted in good terms(which they didnt)

i guess we also forget the freedom shinhwa has without them..

people keep talking about promotions when look at them now - they produce their own songs, they produce concerts, they get the royalties for their songs...

Heroine 5's not subbed?? i've always thought there were subs for the show.... Haha, i might sub it after finishing with Love Letter season 1 Han Eun Jung(P.S: i'm halfway through!)

Anyways about SM and promotion:

there was seriously massive promotion for the 7th album...

they needed the album to succeed so that they can prove to the media that changing companies(from SM to good) is a good choice.

with their current schedules, it's really difficult for them to promote the 9th album.

i believe that GOODenter will want to heavily promote this album since it will be the only shinhwa album in probably 5 years... and we all know that shinhwa is like a money making group for them, so it is only rightful for them to promote shinhwa so that they can get their profits. but, this is not made possible since 5 of the members have moved out of the company and become solo artistes. GOODenter only holds the rights to them as a group, not as an individual. thus the members make personal schedules for their solo activities in their individual companies, so it is rather difficult for them to come as a group to promote the album.

Shinhwa has great foresight. I think, moving out of SM is a good thing as they will have more freedom to do the things they want. they can try different styles of music. when shinhwa was in SM, i remember all their title tracks were written by yoo young jin. But when they moved out of SM, they were able to get different composers to try different genres of music.

SM is famous for their immense promotion for young idol groups.

If shinhwa were still in SM, i think it will be hard to maintain their popularity as SM will focus more on the new, young and fresher artistes. They might be in storage if they remained in SM.(that's what happened to black beat)

Furthermore, we don't definitely do not want any of the boys to be abused by SM. Immense promotions= busier schedules= fall sick easily. I think SM would try to make as much money from a group before the popularity of the group dips.

But I gotta admit, that GOODenter is not really the best company to be in. They lacked experience so the way they handle some situations are abit...

I think the best way now, is to actually have the Shinhwa members to come together and set up one big company for themselves instead of like members' individual companies. that way, they will know what's best for them individually and as a group. The schedules can be more flexible.

P.S: It's so funny now when the members' individual companies are so close to each other. My friend told me that Eric's company is directly above Andy's company in the same building... And if i'm not mistaken, all their companies belong to the company "open world entertainment"

And... I'm pretty sure Andy's company is under Eric's... that's why in Andy's CDs and other promo goods/pictures, TOP Class is also included.

Moving out of SM was the BEST choice. If SM didn't initiate the breakup, I think Shinhwa would have second thoughts of leaving. I think SM realized Shinhwa was getting a handful because they were adults already and they wanted change and a bit of power to do something they want. I think SM didn't want that. So they decided to get some of the members but ofcourse, the plan flopped and now Shinhwa's with GoodEMG.

This all just a theory of course.

But for some odd reason, I find that if Shinhwa remained in SM, we would have got to see them more on TV.

Of course, Shinhwa left SM for a reason. Of course, Shinhwa has been doing what they love. Whatever they love, I love as well.

I think you misunderstood what Minwoo was saying. He was asked by the MC who in Shinhwa are CEO's of their own companies - Minwoo answered everyone had their own company except Dongwan and Hyesung.
