Kim Nam Gil held another successful concert today in Tokyo Japan for his Special Stage 2016 Roadshow concert. Venue: Mahiama Amphitheater. The Japanese fans once again showed their love and support to KNG through all the flowers and rice donations as well as purchasing various souvenier items of the concert.

Kim Nam Gil Successfully Wrapped Up His Japan Fan Meeting

Actor Kim Nam Gil successfully finished his fan meeting. 

He spent a meaningful time with local fans at Maihama Ampi Theater in Tokyo and Grand Cube in Osaka on March 25 and 27, respectively. 

The fan meeting held in two different cities caught the fans’ attention since they were held in different concepts. While he tried to listen to the fans in Tokyo, he made the audiences enjoy the event with various performances. 

Many fans gathered at the airport early in the morning after two years of his visit in the country. All the fans came to see him took photos and delivered presents to support him in their own ways. 

The event entitled ‘Road Show’ was full of various programs consisting talk show, healing show and music show. In particular, he disclosed what he did for past two years and tried to communicate with the audiences. 

Kim Nam Gil said, “I’m sorry for not visiting Japan many times due to my schedules. I will try my best to keep in touch with the fans through my works and these events.”

Meanwhile, Kim Nam Gil is preparing for his film ‘My Angel’.

Cheon Woo-hee to co-star with Kim Nam-gil in movie 'My Angel'

 

Cheon Woo-hee will co-star with Kim Nam-gil in movie "My Angel" (working title).

"My Angel" is a romance movie in which an insurance auditor, who witnessed his wife killing herself, later meets a woman in coma.

In the movie directed by Lee Yoon-ki, Cheon Woo-hee plays Mi-so who will interact with Kim Nam-gilthroughout the storyline.

Namoo Actors said on April 1st, "Cheon Woo-hee is studying her character at the moment. We are planning to begin filming soon" and "Audience will be able to see new sides of Cheon Woo-hee". The agency also said, "Cheon Woo-hee's strong acting ability accumulated throughout her career step by step will shine".

Meanwhile, 'The Wailing' and "Loves, Lies" starring Cheon Woo-hee are opening soon.

Well... Actually i was surprised more of myself to find me share about anyone else than Kim Raewon, hehee...

But this man just induce me to do ..

I knew Kim nam gil not for a long time actually from Bad Guy, and he amazed me by his abilities of acting in it... then passed some time havent watched thing of him... Then since almost one week casually find Shark (i am too late right? ) began to watch it , and Wohooo ~~ never expect that he would sneak slyly into my heart like that through that drama..

Never expect that i would see another actor who deeply impress me with his profound feelings and emotions which is in big ability he can  portray it ...he really has such an expressive eyes...

And and never expect that i would love asian actor with a mustache hahaha ..usually i dont.. But he is a special case .. really soo appeal to me with it .. so sexy actually

"Bad Guy" was also my first Kim Nam-Gil drama, and I went searching for more after that.

But he totally got my heart acting as Bidam in Queen Seondeok.  I have never seen him before and since then, with a role like this.  He had unexpected funny moments like you cannot imagine, and also depth of emotions. To be honest, when I watched this drama, I almost dropped it, until he showed up, maybe in ep. 8? I don't remember. But his whimsical and funny Bidam - was something I have never seen before, or after.  It is because of him that Queen Seondeok is one of my favorite drama. I am totally in love with Kim Nam Gil's Bidam. I still hope he will have another similar role, that will be funny and also touch our heart like that.

Thank you and to @LyraYoo for the information about the European Short Films Festival. I am thrilled that he is getting world wide attention. I was hoping this will happen after his attendance in Cannes last year.

Actually am surprised now that u too got to know him from Bad Guy and Shark but you loved him more in that past work, the historical drama QSD ~~ that call for musing .. especially that i guess that historical drams not ur type like me .... yes that i do got impressed with his acting -and his charisma as well actually in the two drama bad guy and shark, but havn't think to watch that very long drama QSD ..But seeing many of his fans and now you too talking this praising of him in it, i would think earnestly to spare from my tight time for watching this ... Actor Kim Nam-gil is doing something no one has done before. He has launched a project that finds and spreads the existence of our cultural asset, the Fortress Wall of Seoul. He even personally established a non-profit organization and set out to work on related materials with several cultural artists.

Through a portal site, Kim Nam-gil is conducting a story funding under the theme 'Our Cultural Heritage, the Fortress Wall of Seoul'. It aims to raise 50 million won by the 10th of November. Until the 17th of August, it has raised 2.6 million won with the participation of over 200 people. There have been cases where story fundings were carried out for low-cost movies but not a case where an actor put his name on the line to protect a cultural asset.

Kim Nam-gil's 'Gil Story' was established in 2012 and has been active in various sharing activities using culture and arts. In 2013, he started 'The Man Who Leads the Way' and started to spread the values of 'The Fortress Wall of Seoul'.

The current story funding aims to raise money needed to find the remaining 15 kilometers of the Wall. 'Gil Story' plans on producing guide books and maps of the Wall. Kim is also planning a 'Fortress Wall of Seoul Concert'.

This is all Kim Nam-gil's idea. He's got lots of experience doing charity work overseas and as a result of his thoughts of doing more for the society, came up with this idea.

Kim Nam-gil has also been successful with his work. He's starring in upcoming movie "My Angel" with Cheon Woo-hee as well as "A Murderer's Guide to Memorization" and "Pandora".

Kim Nam Gil surprises with his reaction to being called handsome

Actor Kim Nam Gil surprised everybody by being completely surprised at a fan's compliment.

He held a movie talk live broadcast on November 23 for his film, 'Pandora.'  One fan yelled out, "Oppa, you're handsome!" and his reaction was unexpected.  With huge bunny eyes, he said, "That's my first time hearing that."  It's his first time hearing he's handsome?!

 

He moved on to relaying his thoughts on having his first movie talk sesh.  He said, "Honestly, this is my first time having a movie talk.  It's extremely exciting and I'm very nervous."
