Thanks gals for the all the goodies. How lucky for us fans that KNG was allowed to make this public appearance @PIFF. Same here Lyra I too thought that once KNG turned to be a military official, it would be rare for us to catches glimpse of him but so far it has been promising, hurrah

Here are the pictures for an achievement award ceremony held on Oct. 22 2010 in the House Parliament in Seoul Korea.

The award is for recognition of KNG's contribution to development wells digging, town maintenance, and kindergarten renovation in the local town of Bainsom.

The ending was very sad though, I really enjoyed BG. Specially KNG's acting was brilliant in the drama!

The magazine is one of event items of DC KNG gallery for KNG and was published by DC KNG gallery. The Gall Book (The official title is "Nam Gill Week") is the one of top projects running in DC KNG gall and many gallers contribute their photos, reviews, comments and labors to the project. The book has been printed up to vol. 3 so far and KNG just got vol. 3 yesterday. I understood that he loves to have the gall book and he said that he has own bookshelf to keep the gall books.

The DC gall usually sells the gall book to gallers and anyone who wants it for fundraising for DC gall events for KNG, but all of them(vol. 1, 2 & 3) has been sold out as I know.

And

The pictures posted by lyra was taken in DC gallery Event made in last Friday to celebrate DC KNG Gall 1st birthday. Many gifts were delivered to KNG and he was very happy to meet his fans.

One of the gifts was 'knitting caps kit'. 'Knitting caps for children' is a campaign to save children's life in Africa, Asia, & Latin America. DC KNG gallery has been joining this campaign since last year and this year is the second year. Every year many gallers knitted caps for children and donated them as name of Kim Nam Gil and his fans. This year DC gallery invites KNG to the campaign and the knitting kit was delivered to him last Friday finally. Ha~ Ha~ I understood that KNG was very interested in the campaign and appreciated his fans for join of the campaign. He promised his fans to join the campaign and try to knit the cap, even he never has knitted before, though.

Happy 1st anniversary to DC KNG gallery they’re so sweet & thoughtful - “Nam Gill Week” magazine looks so interesting & creative. Me wants all three copies too, but too bad it’s all sold out & for Korean fans only. Wow KNG is a good role model, I believe his fans are inspired by his charity activities to do good deeds for the needy, super lovely I would love to see a photo of KNG knitted cap & I’m sure it would look beautiful coz he’s just talent at everything he does haha.

@milan1010 - regarding Bad Guy, same as cityyoung watching KNG captivating & brilliant acting is more than enough for me. KNG role - Shim Gun Wook is a very complicated multilayer character, which requires a lot of different facets. Conflicted emotions, good, bad, intelligent, conniving, manipulative, vengeful, mysterious, dangerous, seductive, suave, goofy, cold, tender, vulnerable, compassionate and forgiving, he convincingly brought out all these contradictory characteristics of his GW character. Sorry but it takes a substantial and versatile actor like KNG to play this challenging complex Gun Wook character. Unfortunately, some viewers found GW confusing and they think his thirst & scale for revenge are not justified. To make things more complicated, BG started out with GW adulthood, while slowly revealing flashbacks of his tragic childhood scenes. You must concentrate & sit throughout the show to capture them. Moreover, GW doesn’t talk much, sometimes you need to focus and read his facial & body posture expressions to understand his feelings (for which KNG is excellent at).

Regarding the drama itself, yea I’ve read numerous comments how the rushed ending was disappointing, leaving viewers with frustration & emptiness. However, I must be the very few odd viewers who like BG ending, it was realistic yet cruel & sad. On the bright side, BG music score, cinematography & scenery were superbly wonderful. However, due to time restraint, it’s a pity that the plot wasn’t fully developed & the quality of the scenes suffered a bit toward the end. Overall, despite all its flaws I would still recommend BG based on the outstanding acting by its casts.

Just to share we were in the building when KNG is on duty when I was visiting Seoul!

My friend in Seoul told us he is serving in that building and we went there just to see him while he step outside..

But he came down just to meet with three of us...

We introduced ourself and told him came all the way from the Los Angeles & New York...

He understand everything and his English pronunciation was very good also...
