Really?  LOL  Maybe this was Choi Ji Woo's last day so that is why they showed both faces.  Her candy had a nice voice as well.

Yes I did.  They also had a Cure song. "Friday, I'm in Love.  I meant to try to note all the songs in the episode. I did hear one of his own songs. Will try to do so when a subbed version shows up.

Everybody keeps saying it is Park Min Young, and it does look like her, but how could they not know each other? They worked together at least twice on Spris commercials. There is a YouTube video of them doing an interview together. 

Even though it has been some years, they both have pretty recognizable voices, and they must have seen some of each other's dramas since then. She worked with his friend Ji Chang Wook on Healer just a couple of years ago. Of course, they are both such good actors they could be believable in a "reality" show.

I didn't get to watch the live stream last night as it would have been about 3am here. (I did stay up for the SBS awards until 5am - and it was well worth it - but ugh the after effects.) it was 10 years ago. Joongi have many coworkers in 10 years period. And Joongi shot many ads in those days, not only Spris. Lee Joongi‘s coworker is not only from ad, but also from drama.music...

Joongi and Ji Chang Wook's friendship maybe is getting close in this year for Lotte ad, they know each other but they has few interactive scene in 2009 "Hero". Being a actor,Lee Joongi usually watch TV&movie from many countries.

So I think that they can't recognizing each other in the first.

@joybran Thanks for posting the video of their past work together.  I read where Park Min Young aka Rachel MyPark can speak English pretty well due to attending school overseas.  So...I want to hear them speak to each other in English on the Candy show.  

@luvkstyle JG's part on this episode was approximately half of it.  It started with a bit of Choi Ji Woo's, then went into talking to JG in a cafe and introducing him to the concept and giving him the phone.  After 30 minutes or so of JG and Candy meeting and talking on the phone, it went back to Choi Ji Woo and her "Candy" whose face was not hidden.  They teased each other for a bit and then met up at the end.  

There is a thread on here for the show, but it isn't that active and there seems to not be any translators.

In a clip from the tvN variety show “My Ear’s Candy,” Lee Joon Gi proved his perfect organization skills as he packed for a trip.

The show follows celebrities as they converse over the phone with an anonymous caller until their phone batteries run out, forming friendships while trying to guess who is on the other side of the line.

 

 

The clip started with Lee Joon Gi going through his awards cabinet as he talked about the trophies on them. He then focused the camera on his two adorable puppies and even made them do a few tricks, demonstrating how doting of a pet daddy Lee Joon Gi could be.

Turning the camera towards his large suitcase, he showed that he had packed each item of clothing in a plastic case, explaining that he hates it when his clothes mix. He continued to explain that during his military service, he gained the nickname of “organizing robot” because of his penchant for structure and neatness. He also revealed that he brings along a bag of hot red pepper flakes on his trips!

I am listening to Joon Gi's Singapore Concert again this afternoon - good for a rainy Sunday - and I know now where I heard him say that he wrote the Thank You song.

You may be right that Joon Gi and Park Min Young don't know each other well enough to recognize each other just from their voices. I was thinking about how friendly Joon Gi and Chang Wook looked at the Lotte Duty-Free Press Conference when they were sitting together and talking and laughing. But I was also thinking about the KBS awards show in 2014 when Joon Gi and Nam Sang Mi won Best Couple for Gunman in Joseon, and Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young won Best Couple for Healer. All four were nominated for Excellence Awards. Joon Gi won for Actor, but NSM and PMY tied for Actress. PMY was one of the hosts of the show. At the end of the show when everyone got up to leave, Joon Gi and JCW hugged each other like old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while.

I think when Joon Gi said "When I want to make a new song", he means that he gave the concept to the lyricist, he explained that is what he wanted to express through this song. And when he said "this song is something I wrote", maybe he was wrong to speak? Because I think if Joon Gi had written 'Thank you' he would have said just as he did before with 'Selfless Dedicated Tree' and 'Tonight' and he wouldn't use a pseudonym.
In addition Director of Soul not only wrote the lyrics of Thank you, Now and We Wish You A Merry Christmas (this song he wrote with Im Jin Ho), also made the composition and Arrangement of these 3 songs.

Just a guess.

A big hello to all. I'm a new supporter of JG (after watching Scarlet Heart) and was fortunate enough to attend his fan meeting in Singapore. He made a lot of effort to speak in English, which I am sure his international fans were very appreciative of. He invited his fans to attend the Encore fan meeting in Seoul, but I wonder if international fans will be able to understand what he'll be saying (I am assuming he will be speaking in Korean most of the time, but will he have an English translator right beside him?) Well I guess if anyone is lucky enough to get hold of tickets, maybe just being able to see him up close will be good enough.
