So here we go  Chinese garden in Suwon that was used for shooting of a few important scenes in MLSHR. I have made 5 collages and will post them separately, two today and the rest of it maybe tomorrow or later, so that I don't have to put them in spoilers, that would be a pity. 

 

First one is this classical wall ^^

 

And the second one was not in the drama itself (I think), but JG posted a photo with this pagoda on his IG.  

Pretty good question is - how come he did not have the water there? I was there one year after he made this photo.. so maybe they added the water there as a new thing? Or maybe it was still winter/off season at the time he made the photo there and the water was not running...

Could be...I think it was also to lead into his final statements at the end of the show.  Just like you have been pointing out...themes/statements get repeated in this show.  Hints/foreshadowing everywhere.

Time jumps were hard to read in this drama. I'd guess months but not quite a year had passed. I'm wondering if the apron things are Princely costumes for younger Princes. <<<or the costume designer was trying to denote their youth as compared to the other princes>>>

Prince Eun's birthday took place here and also WangSo's realizing that he is attracted to HaeSoo 

 

This was also seen in a few scenes

 

And WangSo "returning" HaeSoo after their sea trip was also shot here

Ji Soo and JG are so adorable together... i love them. i love my whole MLSHR family... i was just talking about Eun-So because after their tragic ending in the drama it would be the best to see their counterparts reunion (just like So+Soo when he said he traveled from Goryeo just to see her!)

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again – his voice is  It was dripping with sarcasm. And his eyebrow lift!!! 

Oh, did I mention how beautiful JG looks as Wang So in this episode? 

Chingu you must be careful and be sure to watch SBS version or you will miss a lot of So's scenesLove your picspam and random observations, specially these ones:

-Random observation: what was CR packing in those small boxes that would be enough for Soo to run away and survive?

-Random observation: the soldiers were running on foot – how can they keep up with the horses?

-Random observation: what happened to the fog? It is suddenly gone??

And yes his voice is heaven and he looks unearthly beautiful in this episode!

The dolls are gorgeous indeed... and i also wonder about  the apron thing BA and Jung (and in other episodes Eun) were wearing... maybe an unmarried men thing?

Okay, this question was bugging me: What was their plan anyway? So will take her to where? What would happen when the king finds out that Soo has escaped? How would they solve that issue? 

 

When nothing works out Soo takes the matter to her own hands; snake Wook tries to stop her, but So believes in her and lets her decide her own fate.

As i said before i love to see So falling in love with Soo... i love how protective he always is... and i love that he always respect her choices... about the plan... who needs a plan when you just can ride in a horse in So's arms... i would happily die in his arms...

Thanks hun for the eng subs.Also Ha!I was right!The "fabulous award" was an acting award after all,not a dressing award or something like this.It was just the name that made it sound a bit trivial.Bae got a pat on the back for his performance in Criminal Minds.I mean say what you may about the drama's flaws...but JG did a great job and for that he deserved applause.This fan is happy.

 

Ive been JG's fan for five years now and one thing that has been consistent about him.He is the type of person that needs constant reassurance that he is going well in his acting.So am proud he got that from this ceremony.

 

Congrats again and again to our amazing JG:

I wish 2018 would hurry up so we can see his pretty self back on our screens.

I thought her convoluted way of protecting So was to not be a constant foil/target in the Palace.  She knew the other powers would never let them live a peaceful existence together...even if she was just a consort.  And to get to So...they would use her and manipulate his choices/power constantly.  By leaving, she took that power away from the other parties. She was his liability.

@pixelsticks Detailed map of all MLSHR locations? Gimme, gimme, gimme!  How can I find those? Did she share it on MLSHR thread, or did she post it somewhere? I want to know as many locations (not only from Scarlet Heart) as possible, so that next time in Korea I can plan a good tour around, haha. And then I will share with you guys, of course ^^

@violina  I probably watched almost anything there is available about JG, from 2004 to date. Yes, he appears to be a pleaser particularly towards his fans. He is very sensitive with criticisms and wanting to improve and correct the fault that others see in him but the sound that he needs reassurance all the time, Sorry I disagree. I don’t think he is that selfish and insecure.  I believe he is more intelligent and level-headed than that and he appears to be confident artist to me. I do think he is more burdened and felt-responsible if the production he is in don’t make money than his own awards.  

 

Ohh it sounds heart-breaking that you have that kind of perception about JG. Who does not want acknowledging but to aim for it as the main motivation-no no  I don’t think if that sounds right. Oh I hope I got your message the wrong way.

 

Awards? In reality,____ are actually lobbied and in many instances it comes with a price. Besides awards are not the only forms of acknowledgment. These days even trending online means more than those awards.

I am betting on it being a modern drama.According to this video, that was last year or was it early this year?He was parodying fan comments and asking what role he should do next.

He saw some complaining about him doing consecutive saeguk, and he was joking about how he ascended in occupation rank from clown to a king.Anyways, I dont think he will be doing a saeguk anytime soon unless the script is totally irresistable.From the modern genre, he roleplayed a detective/agent, a doctor and I guess a chaebol son in a romcom.He also  roleplayed him guesting on a variety show.Here is the vid:

 

I never thought of it but wow! captain JG as a pilot would be so COOL.A romance between a captain and air hostess or viceversa who studied at the same aviation school and then work for different rival airline would be a fresh concept.Its not going to be the first airline professional character, if he did one.But the dramas I remember both flopped because the acting and storyline was bad,so it would be a great opportunity to create a memorable captain.I know he would ace it.Ah how about a regular salaried man comedy like "Chief Kim" or Misaeng with loads of bromance and character development?But of course making sure there is an adequate amount of tailored suits so I can do a parade.

 

Not too keen on him taking any legal drama next year.Athough they almost always do well.Prosecutor, Judge.They have been too many of those, this year and they are already some scheduled for early next year.Medical dramas generally do well but the script is what makes or breaks everything.I wouldnt mind if he play a psychiatrist something like "Its ok thats love".Or a doctor specialising in child psychology since he is so good with children.But they almost always make them "genius" surgeons.But either way if he has to play cliche kdrama doctor/ judge then in 2019 would be better.

But JG is JG.Any role he takes he will do well and I will support.
