SBS drama "Yong Pal" ended in first place. 

According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of "Yong Pal" ended with 20.4%. This is 2.0% more than the previous record. 

The highest record would be 21.5% for "Yong Pal". 

The final episode ended happily with Kim Tae-hyeon (Joo Won) preventing Lee Chae-yeong (Chae Jeong-an) from taking revenge and Han Yeo-jin's (Kim Tae-hee) kidney surgery being successful. 

Meanwhile, MBC drama "She Was Pretty" came in next with 10.2% and KBS 2TV drama "The Merchant: Gaekju 2015" third with 6.7%.

Yes, it is not easy to break two digits and achieve above 15% rating for Kdrama nowadays. What a feat for YP and a very good show by its cast. They all shine in their roles!

Have a few questions that I hope you guys can answer:

Anyone here knows the song played during the last part of episode 16? The moment where Yeo Jin finds out about the lavender garden that Tae Hyun made for her? 

And why did President Go exactly kill himself? I must've missed something as I only rely on subtitles.

Also, did Kim Tae Hee actually cut her hair short for the latter part of Yong Pal? Or is she just wearing a wig?

To your questions,

2.   President Go. He was given a note purportedly from his son that asked to save him. It is a guess by many that he did it to save his son. No clear indication as to the reason why the son wanted to be saved. There were many discussions and theories to this as well as doubts as to whether the son was the one who gave the note. Hopefully we get an answer in the last episodes.

3.   KTH's short hair. It looks very real to me for me not to think that it is a wig.

This song is for YJ to show her feelings, which is afraid but has to go on, and when both parted, it was K Will's song in the background, which could for TH and to show his feelings.

2.   Pres Go thought that he is strong because he heads the construction division and have gone through many life's lesson to be where he was. He was under the impression that he has the necessary back up plans and will survive any obstacles including the police's interrogation. He is cunning but I'm not sure if he is smart because it seems so easy for him to give up life at the mere cry for rescue by his son. He did not even verify whether the note is from his son. That is not any reasonable father will do, unless he takes the presence of the lawyer with a note like that as a death warrant served, a certain ritual known to certain circle of men/members that includes him?

3.  KTH has been having long hair for a long time. I suspect she wore hair extension for her character who had been lying in coma for years. Below shows the length of her hair when she turned up at her Allerman fan signing event on 22 August, 2015.

“Yong Pal“ was arguably one of my most favorite dramas in 2015. With the sweet romance between Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee, the not so scary gangster boss, and the bromance between Joo Won and his bodyguard, I loved every aspect of this drama.

Although the plot line and characters played a big role in the success of this drama, I think that the makeup of all the female characters is also an interesting facet of this drama. So here are five different makeup looks and the makeup products you can use to recreate them!

1. Unconscious Kim Tae Hee

I know it sounds weird. How can someone have makeup on while being unconscious? Well if you have a crazy nurse that puts makeup on you while you are in a comatose state I guess you could have gorgeous lipstick colors on like Kim Tae Hee. Putting the plot aside, Kim Tae Hee’s fuchsia pink lips are absolutely gorgeous against her pale skin.

'Yong Pal' Happily Concludes With Ratings Of 20.4 Percent

"Yong Pal" concluded on a positive note, with Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee reuniting as a couple. In addition to the a happy ending, the rating juggernaut continued its reign over its time slot and primetime programming.

According to the October 2 report issued by Nielsen Korea, "Yong Pal" recorded 20.4 percent in nationwide viewership with its finale. This reflected an increase of 2.0 percent from the previous episode.

The medical drama concluded with Kim Tae Hyun (Joo Won) serving as a doctor to the poor.

"Yong Pal" ventured into the realm of extreme melodrama or a genre known as makjang, through its incorporation of a relentless revenge plot.  

 

 

 

 

Han Yeo Jin (Kim Tae Hee) retreated into her palatial home, after discovering that she was ill. However, her liver cancer was due to natural causes, bu prolonged exposure to poisoning.

Tae Hyun rescued Yeo Jin, but she was diagnosed with stage-three cancer and was clinging to life. 

Cynthia (Stephanie Lee) saved the day when she returned with her own Yong Pal, a rogue physician who was willing to work under any circumstances. Through the aid of the Johns Hopkins surgeon, Tae Hyun was able to save Yeo Jin.

"She Was Pretty" continued its double-digit ratings. The MBC romantic comedy recorded 10.2 in nationwide viewership.

The episode opened with Kim Hye Jin saving Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon), who was in the throws of a panic attack. 

Sung Joon continued to experience the nagging feeling that something was off with, Min Ha Ri (Koh Joon Hee), the woman he believed to be Hye Jin. 

Ha Ri to continue her romantic pursuit of Sung Joon, even though Hye Jin would be hurt by her deception. However, Sung Joon could learn the truth about the identity of Hye Jin, after spending time alone with her on a retreat. 

The KBS2 period series, "The Merchant: Gaekju 2015" recorded 6.7 percent.
