No Gain, No Love dropped a new teaser, giving a glimpse of Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae's fake wedding. 

No Gain, No Love tells the story of Son Ha Young (Shin Min Ah), who gets married to Kim Ji Wook (Kim Young Dae) to avoid missing out on an opportunity for a job promotion at her workplace.

The teaser begins with a picturesque scene of Hae Yeong (Shin Min Ah) and Ji Wook's (Kim Young Dae) wedding procession. Amidst the congratulatory messages from the guests, Hae Yeong walks down the aisle holding Ji Wook's hand and wearing a bright smile.

However, after the wedding ceremony ends, the real reason for the marriage is revealed. Hae Yeong throws the bouquet aside and starts calculating the congratulatory money with Ji Wook. Shin Min Ah will portray Son Hae Young, who hates to lose money no matter when, where, and with whom. With her quick calculation skills, Hae Young assesses profit and loss in every aspect of her life, including studies, relationships, and work. When she is at risk of missing out on a promotion at her company, she plans a fake marriage.

Regarding the extremely calculating character Son Hae Young, Shin Min Ah shared, “Hae Young is a character who doesn’t want to lose in any situation, no matter when, where, or with whom,” adding, “Her fiercely calculating nature makes her somewhat pitiable, but at the same time, her straightforwardness is so refreshing that it was incredibly charming to portray.”

 

As for the part she focused on the most in her acting, she revealed, “She sometimes expresses her emotions using profane language, so I practiced a lot to make it sound natural. Also, since it was my first time playing an office worker, I put a lot of thought into the styling. I think I’ll be able to showcase various styles that reflect Hae Young’s position within the company.”

 

Shin Min Ah chose “No Loss,” “Calculative,” and “Tsundere” (meaning cold outward behavior while actually warm and caring) as three keywords that best describe her character Son Hae Young. She explained, “Just like her name Son Hae Young, she hates taking losses. Her straightforward and blunt manner of speaking may make her seem shrewd on the outside, but she is very tender on the inside.”

“No Gain No Love” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Son Hae Young (Shin Min Ah), a woman who fakes a marriage to avoid missing out on a promotion at work. Kim Young Dae will star as Kim Ji Wook, the man who agrees to become her fake husband.

 

A part-timer who works night shifts at a local convenience store, Kim Ji Wook is a kindhearted soul who can’t stop himself from helping when he sees someone in need.

 

Although he initially hides his handsome looks under thick-framed glasses and a shaggy mop of hair, he undergoes a makeover and adopts a more clean-cut look in order to take on the role of Son Hae Young’s fake bridegroom.

 

 

When asked why he had decided to star in “No Gain No Love,” Kim Young Dae replied, “The drama captures various aspects of reality in different ways, which I found fun and interesting. The different characters wind up becoming entangled with one another, and I think the wide variety of incidents that unfold within those entanglements is one of our drama’s biggest charms.”

Han Ji Hyun will play the role of Nam Ja Yeon, a web novelist who lives with Son Hae Young and is closer to her than family. Although she is famous for her R-rated romance web novels, which she writes under the pen name Yeon Bo Ra, Nam Ja Yeon’s only experience with love is on paper: in real life, she has zero dating experience and has been single since birth.
