According to Nielsen Korea, the the hit drama returned to its all-time high of 11.4 percent for its latest episode, making it the most-watched program of any kind to air on Friday.

*** I happened to watch a video, an episode of Knowing Bros where Cha Eun Woo spoke about his past “insecurity”; he has a “duck butt.” Cha Eunwoo said his “duck butt,” or fluffier butt, made him feel self-conscious…until it saved him from a dangerous accident. Cha Eunwoo recalled, “It happened while shooting a music video.” For the final scene of the music video, ASTRO members had to leap and land on a set built for that specific ending. Unfortunately, it became tricky for all six members to land at the same time. After what is assumed to be multiple attempts, the set collapsed beneath their feet. When Cha Eunwoo fell, he felt something stab him, but then he was able to get up without too much trouble. It was only when his teammates pointed out that he was bleeding from his behind that he realized he had crashed onto a protruding nail! Cha Eunwoo rushed to the hospital with his manager to seek treatment. The doctor, who came to check out the wound, said he couldn’t have been luckier! Fortunately, his behind — said to be “on the larger size,” according to Cha Eunwoo — provided the much-needed support to cushion the fall. So, while stab wounds as deep as the one he suffered would usually require stitches, Cha Eunwoo was able to skip the complicated procedures and simply return home after getting a tetanus shot! Thanks, butt, for both the thicc-ness and the protecc-ion!

"Wonderful World" Finale's Running Time Extended To 90 Minutes

MBC’s “Wonderful World” has extended its series finale!

 

On April 9, MBC announced that “Wonderful World” had extended the running time of its final episode to 90 minutes. As a result, the finale will air 10 minutes earlier than usual: instead of airing at 9:50 p.m. KST, Episode 14 will begin airing at 9:40 p.m. KST on April 13.

 

Meanwhile, Episode 13 will air in its usual time slot at 9:50 p.m. KST on April 12.

 

The “Wonderful World” production team remarked, “In Episodes 13 and 14, which will serve as a final flourish, a mystery plot twist that has been hidden up until now will rise to the surface, and the punishment of the cruel politician Kim Joon will unfold.”

 

“Accordingly, after much deliberation, we decided to extend the running time [of the finale] in order to properly convey the characters’ stories,” they continued. “We will repay the viewers’ support with a final episode that is even more solid.”

 

The final two episodes of “Wonderful World” will air on April 12 at 9:50 p.m. KST and April 13 at 9:40 p.m. KST.

The MBC drama series "Wonderful World" is set to conclude with a special 90-minute finale.

 

"Wonderful World" has enthralled viewers with its storyline, following the character Eun Soo-hyun (played by Kim Nam-joo) as she unravels the secrets behind her act of vengeance against her son's killer.

 

The cast, including Cha Eun-woo and Kim Kang-woo, delivered compelling performances that, combined with the drama's intricate plot developments, significantly engaged viewers.

 

"The decision to extend the final episode came after much deliberation on how to best convey the concluding narratives of our characters. We aim to craft a fulfilling end to show our gratitude toward the viewers' immense support," said an official from the production team.

 

The drama has achieved impressive viewership ratings that soared to 10.2 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area by its fifth episode, according to Nielsen Korea.

 

By episode 11, it peaked at a 12.7 percent rating, highlighting its strong presence amidst fierce competition.

 

With the finale approaching, anticipation is building for the unraveling of the remaining mysteries.

 

The creators promise a thrilling conclusion, especially with the looming confrontation against the villainous politician Kim Joon (played by Park Hyuk-kwon).

“Wonderful World” is an emotional thriller starring Kim Nam Joo as Eun Soo Hyun, a woman who seeks revenge after the tragic loss of her son. When the culprit manages to evade punishment through the legal system, she decides to pursue justice on her own. Cha Eun Woo stars as Kwon Sun Yool, a former medical student who has led a rough life after suffering a devastating family tragedy.

Previously, Kwon Sun Yool was shocked to find out the truth about the heart surgery that saved his life in the past. It was revealed that Sun Yool’s father Ji Woong (Oh Man Seok) killed Eun Soo Hyun’s son Gun Woo (Lee Joon), who was hit by Kim Joon’s (Park Hyuk Kwon‘s) car, in exchange for saving Sun Yool’s life.

Amidst this situation, the newly released stills capture Sun Yool with an empty facial expression as if he has given up on everything.

 

 

The sight of Sun Yool drinking alone with no one around tugs at viewers’ heartstrings. As he learned that Gun Woo lost his life at the hands of his father, Sun Yool has no choice but to distance himself from Soo Hyun, who provides comfort to him.
