It begins with their encounter with Hansu (Lee Min Ho), a new intermediary who arrives in Yeongdo, Busan in the early 1900s. Season 2 delves deeper into the life of Sunja (Kim Min Ha), a mother raising two children and forging a path in life with her resilience and vigor.

In the recently released stills, actresses Youn Yuh Jung and Kim Min Ha portray the character Sunja with emotive expressions, effectively capturing the passage of time.

 

 

Kim Min Ha depicts young Sunja, who chose to live as an outsider to live with dignity, while Youn Yuh Jung portrays elderly Sunja, who established roots firmly in a foreign land over decades. Set in 1945 Osaka, the trailer showcases the reunion of Sunja (Kim Min Ha) and Hansu (Lee Min Ho) and introduces new cast members, including Kim Sung Kyu.

 

This season, set against the backdrop of World War II, tells the story of a woman struggling to protect her family, even making dangerous choices.
