I just found a window of time to continue translating the first V Live Broadcast from where I left off. But I'm also wondering if this translation is disrupting the flow of developments in this thread since it's relatively dated. So much has happened since the time we were interested to scrutinise this video, haha. And KAJ is the one who has really spoil us with so much latest goodies!  So, do let me know ya. Depending on response, I might decide to finish everything and share it at one-go, though I really can't promise when that will be, huhu. 

 

That aside, here's the 5th installment. Hope all of you will enjoy reading 

 

TRANSLATIONS FOR V LIVE BROADCAST – 5^th Installment (16:41 – 20:58)

KNG: Now, even when it’s really hot and we feel the heat waves…

 

YMK: Honestly, I’m worried for you [KNG] at present. We are dressed in ordinary clothing, but Sun-bae nim is wearing traditional garments/Han Bok. I can totally understand how immensely warm it is for you to be in them.

 

KNG: Right, because you have a role [in the drama] that dresses in Han Bok too…

 

YMK: Yes…plus you have to put on the fake beard…

 

KNG: Well, though it is really warm to be in them, it’s endurable for the sake of a good first episode broadcast, a good start to our drama…*YMK  nods*…is that right? *looks at KAJ and waits for her reply; KAJ zoned out again, KNG replies on her behalf* “Yes…”…Ah Joong ssi…*KAJ embarrassed*…Em, during this time, the number of likes have exceeded 18,000, wooooo! *everyone claps* Because there’s not much time left, [we] have to reveal the number of likes received. What targets should we set for the number of likes and what can we promise [the viewers] we would do if those targets are met? Min Kyu ssi, please give your thoughts first. YMK: Ah, promise…

 

KNG: The number of likes has now exceeded 18,000 and is approaching 19,000. How many likes do you think is a good target for us to make a promise to viewers?

 

YMK: Erm for me, 50,000 likes? How much of time do we have left [to receive likes]?

KNG: There’s about 14 – 15 minutes left. We’ve said we would make a promise, we need to make it before the broadcast ends, that’s what we told the viewers earlier…

KNG: What is a “selca-one-shot time”? *looks to KAJ for some explanation but she shakes her head as she doesn’t know; KNG laughs at her and KAJ laughs too*  

 

YMK: Well, it’s when I’m by myself, when I’m alone…

 

 

KAJ: *still laughing* What is “selca-one-shot time”? What is that?

YMK: It’s when I’m alone, I’ll take a photo of myself. It’s like a selca to share what I am doing when I took the photo. I would like to try that.

 

KAJ: Ahhh….

 

KNG: Okay, that’s when the number of likes reaches 40,000, right?

 

YMK: Yes, 40,000.

 

KNG: So, Min Kyu ssi, when the accumulated number of likes hits 40,000, you must remember your promise. You must not forget.

 

YMK: Sure.

KAJ: [A treat] For 50,000 people, you mean?

 

KNG: Ne? *very shocked by her question and looks at her* Oh no, it’s 50,000 like--Ah Joong ssi…*briefly touches her back*…if the number of likes exceeds 50,000…

 

KAJ: If it’s 50,000 likes, shouldn’t it be for 50,000 people?

 

KNG: No, no. Not for 50,000 people. It’s the quantity of likes at 50,000. *YMK suddenly moves forward* Please continue to tap on like *to YMK* If it exceeds 50,000 likes, due to the very hot weather, we promise to treat our viewers to ice coffee or cool drinks. We shall do this, alright? *asks YMK*

 

YMK: Yes.

 

KNG: Is it okay, Ah Joong ssi? You agree too?

 

KAJ: Yes *nods*

 

KNG: *to YMK and KAJ* You agree, yes. Everyone agrees. Let’s clap! 50,000…we earlier said 40,000 or 50,000? It’s 50,000, right? *asks YMK*

 

YMK: 50,000.

I love this sequence of events!! I also love the comments that people are making regarding KAJ’s happy demeanor: a woman ignored or passed over she does not appear to be. A woman flush with optimism and conviction, yes.

 

In my own delusional world, I’d like to think that a director’s cut of LUTYN would be too revealing for a couple in the early stages of a relationship. Let the director have made the decision not to release more BTS clips out of respect for KAJ’s and KNG’s privacy. 

 

Also, a lot of people have made great observations that I would love to credit here, but work and a fast-moving thread are foiling me. Still, thank you, all!

Ohoh, this thought came to me earlier today....

 

Both KNG and KAJ have previously picked married people as their ideal type~ For KNG, it was Lee Young Ae. And for KAJ, it was Han Seok Kyu. I even remember KNG saying that he doesn't know why he picked a married woman when he's not married.  Me thinks he picked LYA because she's the safest answer, given that she's married. There'd be no worries about dating scandals. I'm wondering if KAJ also did the same because of that..hmm....

 

And my brain wheels start turning again -- can this be passed off as a mere coincidence kind of thing or they are actually THAT similar in character? I mean, their line of thought + the way they handle dating matters are the same? Hmm....

 

Or am I overthinking? It's past 2am here and I haven't slept in close to 20 hours. I guess that's why my brain is starting to go cranky.....wuahahaha~ mianhae if this is sooo random~  good night!

I also had that delusional mind, that they wanted to protect the couple’s privacy. But didn’t know how to express it here. @sublimelyheureuse, you spoke the words off my mind! Thanks! I would say, compatible but not the same. I maybe wrong but 'playful ahjumma' KNG is probably a sanguine-melancholic. I've read before that reserved phlegmatics are usually attracted to the playfulness and deep emotion of a sanguine-melancholic. And yeah, they seem to have a similar outlook in life. It's pretty hard to get 'yoked' with someone going in a different direction. In their case, they'll be pulling each other forward. Me thinks, as we all do, that they are a great match physically and personality-wise and I bet they'll have a great married life. Or maybe I need to sleep on this as I'm being too delusional and over-analyzing the situation in my favor right now.

It's 2:36AM here in the Philippines, I'm working while lurking in our thread coz I don't want to miss anything from our fellow gummies.  Just want to share the good news to you guys as I can't contain my happiness now.
