willenette
11 Male Bosses In K-Dramas That We Love When it comes to male leads in K-dramas, there are a heck of them that end up being bosses. You can call it a cliché, but there’s something about CEOs, managers, and supervisors exuding charisma that really make us dig the storyline. Here’s a look at 11 K-drama bosses who many seem to love. 2. “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” This romantic comedy stars Park Bo Young, Park Hyung Sik, Ji Soo, and a bunch of hilarious supporting actors. The K-drama follows the story of Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young), a young woman gifted with super-human strength. She falls in love with the CEO of a gaming company named Ahn Min Hyuk and is offered a job to be his bodyguard. Ahn Min Hyuk is a young CEO and is passionate about his job. He’s also got no problems hiring a woman as a bodyguard, which obviously makes him pretty cool. But the best quality about Min Hyuk is that he’s not afraid to show his feelings for Do Bong Soon when he falls in love with her. He wears his heart on his sleeve and makes it known to his workers that he’s in love with her. On top of this, it’s pretty cool that he owns a gaming company, isn’t it?! willenette
9 K-Drama Love Triangles That Break Our Hearts No K-Drama is complete without a heartbreaking love triangle that forces us to pick sides and yell at the TV. K-Drama is a brilliant and zestful world that can make you ride a rollercoaster of emotions with every riveting scene. One moment we find ourselves laughing at their witty banter, and the next moment, they’ve got us sitting in a puddle of our own tears. K-Dramas drive us crazy, but let’s face it, that’s why we love them the way we do. For this list of fictional love triangles, we advise that you prepare your hearts, as they are about to be set aflutter. Be warned though, because after giving you butterflies, we’re going to break your hearts into little pieces by making you choose sides in true K-Drama style! #4 Hwarang Watching Hwarang is a historical journey that centers around the lives of young warriors who build strength and brotherly bonds to protect the Kingdom of Silla. All the seriousness and drama aside, watching Hwarang is just one colossal visual explosion! A standing ovation for this group of equally talented and gorgeous cast members. The love triangle we have grown to cherish in this TV series is composed of Ji Dwi/King Jinheung (Park Hyung Sik), Dogbird/Seonu (Park Seo Joon), and Ah Ro (Go Ara). Aside from the magnificent plot and exquisite performances, we know that sometimes you secretly watched this period drama just to see Han Sung’s (Kim Taehyung) adorable smile. willenette
9 K-Dramas That Bring Supernatural Powers Into The Real World The supernatural theme often finds a spot in K-dramas, sometimes with an entire world dedicated to it. Yet, there are some dramas that are set in an ordinary world with just a hint of fantasy – or science fiction – namely in the form of superpowers that are within the (main) characters’ possession. Here is a non-exhaustive list of dramas featuring characters with supernatural powers in an ordinary setting. Warning: minor spoilers ahead! 4. “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” Park Bo Young completed another memorable role as Do Bong Soon, a woman with mighty physical abilities that she uses in her job as a bodyguard for Ahn Min Hyuk (played by Park Hyung Sik), a gaming company CEO who keeps receiving threats. Do Bong Soon’s super strength is hereditary. Albeit practical in many situations, it comes with a condition: to only use it for good. Any use of her powers for personal gain or mischief might cause her to lose them forever.
