It can be true that they are only friends.  As far as I know, In the case of Nicky Wu and Liu Shi Shi, they developed feelings after the drama and barely has contact in 2 years to know if their feelings were real or not. IU's rumors with Lee Joon Gi are basically that they are dating and that she left Kiha to be with him. Sincerely I don't think is the case.

Guys, just a thought...  if you see a post on Twitter regarding JG&IU 'dating' rumor.. Let's not click or visit their link. Report the post instead. (I'm not sure if this will be effective but it is worth a try.) One article is enough. Two posts/articles with similar content would be too much. (Are they that insensitive? Do they really have to repeat it again & again just for the sake of website views?) It seems to me that they're going to stretch this issue the whole week. So, if you see an article/post on Twitter or any social media, do not click on it. It'll be recycled news anyway. (Am I gonna get banned for saying this here?lol)

Chingu..if u click the title in that trashy article, you will see that it is from the same article that our chingu @starcandy0516 had translated.  Am I not mistaken? So I believe there's no confirmation on that article from JG itself but from Namoo?? As usual, that trashy site just mistranslated it for clicks, the same thing that she has been doing on all Jieun's articles, on which only the negative are translated while the positive was not.  So I believe it is not something worth reading at all as it will be a waste of our energy and time..lol.

    I think JG hasn't given a personal statement about this. I think that line was Namoo's words. Even if JG says they are just friends. I agree, he can mean it just that - they're friends right here, right now. I'm still glad they are. Que sera sera. What will be will be  When my heart feels that slightest bit of wavering, I always always go back to Nicky and Cecilia's love story. It's beautiful beyond words.

If LJG and LJE need to buffer themselves for personal protection and to let their relationship develop naturally, I can understand Namoo's statements. If LJG and LJE squelch their relationship in order to avoid netizen wrath, and in so doing, let the public dictate their personal lives, then my heart will break for them. Go underground, be ultra-private; do what you have to do. But please don't forsake an amazing connection just to appease others.

If one day, one of them will say "JUST FRIENDS" .. I'll still be happy coz I know friendship is the best form of relationship and it can develop into something more. I've seen celebrities say "Just Friends" but developed feelings for each other. Remember chingus..when we started on this ship..we never even realised that it will really sail..but one by one...it did..slowly by slowly..when we don't expect things to happen, it just magically pop into our lap.  So I think as long as the close friendship of our OTP is still there, then everything is still good. Startling by its step is the title of BBJX ..so if indeed we are coven of witches..I love this name..lol..then surely..we will be startled by magic each day.  For now, I would chant that the magic of BBJX will sorround our OTP and would clear all the negativities sorrounding them so that they can move on with their lives and have a fabulous career in 2017.  Maybe once the smoke dies down, we can continue our chants..I missed it..lol..and include on it that the close friendship of our OTP will turn into something magical and that BBJX magic will envelop their lives.

Why are Knetz so critical of IU? I know her image will never be the same because of the scandals, but she's still a highly successful and record-breaking singer, right? When I went to Korea, I still saw her face on some advertisements. Maybe the CFs aren't as many as before, but come on, she's 23 and THAT successful. I just don't understand.

yapp though there's so many haters.. but u cant deny that IU's the most successful solo singer/songwriter at young age, her song always doing well in the charts.. and she's one of the top 5 the richest singers along with PSY, GD etc and she's only 23 yo...!!! So that's mean she's still loved by fans, u know that haters is like one person with multiple account to write the nasty comments. They are so pathetic! They are to busy with other business but forget to mind their business lol

@Silvermaine Our chingu @meeibe16 is correct. It might not seem like it because of their constant and consistant barrage, but IU's haters are still a small insignificant number compared to her fans. She has an impressive, diverse and extensive catalog of music for one so young. She is INDEED one of the top 5 richest singers in SK, and she does also have the respect of other artists, as well as the praise of many of the veteran actors and directors she's worked with.

When I mentioned IU and Joongi being a powerful couple...hence a 'power' couple as one of our other chingu have mentioned, I was being completely serious. IU's status in the music industry is no joke and not a thing to be taken lightly, regardless of what the haters and antis say. I'm glad many of our chingu here are getting to know that about her.  And Joongi, he seriously could be the real prince of Asia rather than Kwang Soo (This is not an insult nor a claim. I'm just using him to provide context for this example.)  In other words, while we all agree that Joongi deserved a top excellence award at SAF, his receipt of the KWave Top Hallyu Star award was most certainly deserved. Joongi ranks among the top 5 celebrities who have a massive following in Asia...and most certainly beyond.

When you think of all the celebrity couples you know or may ship and you take these facts into consideration, there is no question whatsoever that Joongi and IU would be well matched. NEITHER need to level up nor down as suggested by some in Nate. And their success and popularity in their respective fields would never be a point of contention between them. In fact, we've all come to know they like and respect each other exactly as they are. Their chemistry and affection for each other, while a pain point right now in the aftermath of KihaU's breakup, will, in my humble opinion, be the thing that will endear them to many more people besides those that support them now.

Okey there are a lot of haters gone vicious, but hey JoonU has lots of supporters too (a great percentage are new fans after MLSHR). Don't we count at all?  And shippers of the OTP might be severely delulu but i still think their general  comments are basically harmless (because they are not inciting that the OTP commits adultery, since technically both are not married).  Ok, i have a gut feeling that Namoo statement is 100% true, that the two are only friends.  But one cannot tell a shipper who have been borbarded with all their sweetness to just not feel down, these are emotions that we are talking about.

Of course the main priority of agencies are their actors /actresses. But it should have been more humane also if they gave MORE CONSIDERATIONS to the feelings of the loyal fans of the OTP rather than their fear of the haters backlash.  

Because these were the people who never gave up on MLSHR when everyone else is kicking it down.  Nurture ties and take care of people who support you because they will be the one who will rally beside you in battles and storms. I just hope they have been more sensitive.

The feeling is something like this: 

About this very cute guy in the office.  You are all content in your own little world, happy and content.  And then one day he noticed you, approached you, as the day passed being more and more attentive, doing sweet things fr you like bringing you coffee and donuts in the morning and taking you home at night, hanging out.  And then you oh all the signs are there... you develop this feeling and you get hooked deeper and deeper. Only to be thrown a bomb one day for him to imply "he was just being friendly" but nothing beyond that, like hey you're my officemate and "colleague" and you are left in one corner thinking you were so stupid to get carried away and should have known better than  to presume, but it still feels like the knife is still struck in your heart. 

Never play with someone's emotion because that's just cruel.

It's only Namoo who give the statement that they are only close friends. It's not JG himself said that, but according to my experience in K-Ent, a lot of reporter from those media outlets called JG's agency to give some explanation. Then, his agency give official statement to them. So, that's why we see so many official statement from Namoo to media outlets. It's because those reporter called Namoo and asked for some explanation.

This morning when I drove my car, I listened IU's song ft High4. When I was heard it, I cried!!! Ahaha.. How shameful!  This is sooooooo not mee!!!!!!

romance aside people can't argue that JG and Jieun is indeed a close friend and that's for sure... what happen was they getting close while Jieun in public eyes still with Voldy and when she broke up the attention shifted toward JG relationship with Jieun at this point... i think maybe its true that they are close because if Jieun still in on and off relationship she would't open her heart easilly so i think JG is someone that she comfortable so its show when they together...

its not a big deal for me the statement because who knew what happen between JG and Jieun right now... not even agency knew excatly the nature of their friendship or what they been talk about cause that's private life of JG and Jieun... so in the end like Nicky Wu and LSS they announce the relationship without their agency knowing too.. LOL

i guess we will need to wait and see cause this time they in a hot zone....... if anything i don't think this will effect their friendship but i pretty sure they will lay low not to cause any damage...

but what i can't understand is people judging that JG can do better and all.... I am kind of relieved that an official statement that Joongi and Jieun are "colleagues" has been released.  This is clearly damage control and that's fine.

With the announcement out of the way, Joongi and Jieun can attend their usual drinking sessions with the MLSHR gang.  Joongi can go on looking at Jieun becoming more beautiful as they drink.  They can still appear as special guests in the other's FM or concert.  The haters, anti's, bashers, onlookers will hopefully turn their attention somewhere else since Namoo basically said nothing to see here, they're colleagues, so just move along folks.

But us, shippers, we'll be doing something else :-).  Now that Jieun is single and Joongi is single, the possibilities are endless *wink, wink*

Their management can say whatever they want to say.  We shippers cannot unsee what we've seen, we cannot just discard the conclusions that were drawn based on their actions, smiles, gazes and expressions.

I'm a fairly new shipper, but here's the motto that seems to work best when rooting and shipping 2 lovely individuals to end up as a couple in real life: "Ship hard, ship smart but always, always ship onwards".  There might be detours or rerouting that'll happen but either way we will get a conclusion - either they'll end up together or not.  The destination can be awesome or not but the fun and spazz and heart flutters will always be in the journey itself.
