Q. How many unreleased beats are piled up?

Taeyong: I think it'll be enough to release 2 full albums. If I release a full-length album, I want to include about 20 songs at a time. At first, I also thought of a mixtape without a title track. 

 

Q. Is there a song that you made over a long period of time and that you're particularly attached to?

Taeyong: It was never released, but it's a song called ‘404’. I made it 3 years ago. It's about personal concerns about work. I remember revising the lyrics several times. I like poetic expressions, so even if the lyrics are abstract, you'll know that I made it with my heart.

 

Q. I'm curious about the lyrics you've wrote down

Taeyong: (keeps scrolling his notepad) these are all the lyrics (I've wrote). There's no end. There's a phrase that I like. I've told the fans about this before. The lyrics I wrote in a song for my pet dog (Ruby) are ‘If we happen to be born and meet again in the next life, let's take the opposite positions and fill in each other's missing parts’. It's a precious and eternal sentence.

Q. Do you like mixtapes?

Taeyong: Yes. It would be nice if many people could listen to it, but it's okay even if they don't. It's just that I have a strong desire to show the world the songs I'm making
