As if he'd be so stupid to keep that post if he was indeed an ilbe user. These people are nitpicking on him because he's popularity is getting out of hand. the timing - promo period of Glory Day, YOF promotions, CF launch - wow, these are hasslers. They're not just ordinary haters. These people are obviously paid to do this. Imagine how they had to dig up old posts. Probably, digging up posts of his non-celebrity friends too. And they thought they found a mine when they found this. And so they had to release on a perfect date. It's obviously a black propaganda. While waiting for more accurate translation, here is  a quick summary of his IG texts

-          The original sentence “going on a tofu errand for mom” was based on a friend’s caption  of a mountain climbing photo “On way to work”. He found that caption interesting and used similar concept for his mountain climbing photo.

-          He does often run errand for mom to buy tofu, bean sprouts, etc. He just happened to use ‘tofu’ for that caption.

-          He emphasized he is not part of Ilbe.

-          He apologized for causing worry to his fans

-          He also apologized for having to mention his ‘friend’ here in order to clarify the rumour

-          He said he will not do anything that will bring embarrassment to his fans.

-          He felt he needs to speak out to clarify since he is a public person.

this makes me cry and relieved.. wow, haters will stop at nothing once the celeb (especially if they're still new) makes a mistake. Hopefully he wont be afftected by those hatred and keep doing his best in his job and bounce back!

Look at the upvotes.... *teary eye*, but the downvote is scary too....to think that there are some people who still hate him no matter what is scary to me, why they love to "hate"?When you can spread the love instead...but yeah, even before watching socialphobia I kinda aware that "witchhunt" culture is still strong in korea...scary...

It's ok dear, there will always be bitter and salty people who don't like seeing other being succesfull.

We should focus more on the positive things. Look at that numbers, the likes triumphed over the dislikes by 84 % - 85 %

Hey guys, I just wanted to spill this out. So you guys all know about this supposed I ”ilbe news” right? It’s really a relief that RJY finally released his own personal statement rather that just relying on the statement released by Cjes. Not that I was wavered  by the news or anything, but as you guys know ‘ilbe’ is quite an issue here in Korea so a lot of people including my friends were starting to question the truth behind this issue and honestly the statement & ‘threat’ released by his agency was not helping clear the issue at all. It just made it even worse. Some of my friends were almost close to believing that RJY was really an Ilbe and it seriously broke my heart. It’s scary how people’s opinion about someone can change so quickly sometimes. But anyway thankfully RJ posted his own statement and I just cant explain the happiness I felt while reading his post on IG (I cried tbh). 
It pains my heart to imagine how shocked RJY was when he heard this nonsense news, also remembering how he’s still sick and seems extremely tired in the GD press conference. It angers me to think of those people who made this fake idiotic issue big and to those who saw this issue as a chance to badmouth him and bring him down. Although the negative posts have decreased, before he released his own statement, the comments sections in all the articles regarding this news on Naver was bombed with negative comments and it seriously made me worry about what would happen to his career if this issue kept going even further. But I believe that through his statement it calmed down the suspicion and doubt of netizens and it surely calmed down the hearts of his fans who were worried and anxious about the issue. His own personal statement was what we really need, actually. Even though I knew and believed that he was/is not an Ilbe, but his statement clarified everything. I thank him for not going silent and clarifying this rumour. That statement “저는 일베 아닙니다/ I am not an Ilbe” says it all. Firm and clear. 
For all of us RJY fans, don't be too worried with this issue and lets just keep moving forward. No celebrity is left untouched of rumours so lets just see this issue as a ‘bump’ that needs to be overcome in his career. There sure may be more bumps in the future, but lets face all with positivity! Keep on loving and believing in Ryu! 사랑합니다 사랑하세요!

I got into a fight with someone on netizenbuzz. right after reply 88 ended she was always trying to drag junghwan down and keep bashing his fans. and now today i saw her again throwing insult towards ryu jun yeol and i just cannot stand it anymore. she still has the gut to claim that she was junghwan team after all the things that she said towards JH and jun yeol. I felt so embarassed with myself for getting involved with this, it was childish but I cannot help myself when she clearly insult not only ryu jun yeol but us his fans.

I dont even understand why some people are so fixated on trying to make people hate him. if anything he did not rise up to the position he is now because of how handsome he is or how popular he is before reply and he also was not an idol but it was all due to his hardwork. people saw how good he is and how much passion he put into his work.he was not the typical flower boy that everybody will swoon just for his looks. he has his own talent and i dont see him being a threat to anyone for a fan of other celebrity to try to drag him down.

its unfortunate that this thing happen. more than anything i was more upset at international anti fans who throw insult at him when clearly he has done nothing worthy of being insulted at. they use this opportunity to bring him down. and the way knetz react to the scandal make me so shocked with how twisted their interpretation are. thank god he clarified and everything seems to died down a bit.
