Actor Kim Min Joon will appear regularly on MBC’s variety show, “I Live Alone.”

According to a representative of the program on November 4, “Kim Min Joon confirmed to join the cast of ‘I Live Alone.’ The filming of his official initiation into the ‘Rainbow Club’ will take place today (November 4). The date of when it will be aired is yet to be determined.”

Regular members Kangta and Kim Tae Won expressed their intentions to take a temporary break from the show. Many people were curious about who would replace their spots. BEAST’s Yang Yoseob and broadcaster Jun Hyun Moo joined as regular cast members.  

Prior to joining the show as a regular cast member, Kim Min Joon revealed his single life in the “The Rainbow Live” segment of the show. He will unveil his life as a single man after being initiated as a member of the Rainbow Club.

Meanwhile, the film “Top Star” starring Kim Min Joon was released in theaters on October 24.

Kikwang and Kim Min Joon cast in new variety program 'Cluck Classroom'

Actor Kim Min Joon and B2ST's Kikwang will be working together in a new variety program.

According to tvN's rep on November 12, "Kim Min Joon and Kikwang will be joining the new variety program 'Moms' World Experiential Project - Cluck Classroom,' planned by the departmental chairman Lee Myung Han."

According to this rep, 'Cluck Classroom' is a traveling program in which five children from a stable and settled multi-cultural family and two uncles go to new places together.  As there will be no parents, the show will feature ten days of the five children and the uncles struggling alone without parental supervision.

The rep said, "They are scheduled to leave for Vietnam on the upcoming 19 and it has not yet been decided whether this will be the regular format ."

'Cluck Classroom,' featuring Kim Min Joon and Kikwang, will start broadcasting at the end of December.

According to broadcast insiders on November 12, tvN’s director Lee Myung Han has planned a new show to air, called, “Project Experiencing My Mother’s Country – richard simmons-a-doodle-doo Classroom” (working title).

“richard simmons-a-doodle-doo Classroom” is about five children from multicultural families and two “uncles” leaving on a trip together. The children will have to be separated from their parents and travel to their mothers’ home countries. The “uncles” have been cast as actor Kim Min Joon and BEAST‘s Lee Ki Kwang.

Kim Min Joon recently elevated his presence through the MBC variety show, “I Live Alone” and Lee Ki Kwang is known to be skilled as a variety show participant among the idols.

Through televising this experience, the staff aim to break down the prejudice toward multicultural families and show that families like these are just like everyone else.

The first country to be visited is Vietnam and the staff and cast will leave on November 19. “richard simmons-a-doodle-doo Classroom” is set to air late next month.
