When little ED said she wants to be famous and appear on that tv show to find her birth mom, one actress came to my mind. It's Lee Il Hwa. She has that graceful and beautiful look. Suits to be gorgeous KSR's omma. 

Y'all are most welcome, glad I didn't get attack for posting the sentence "bang bang till death".  Isn't the only person in the drama that's busy with banging is that rich girl? Especially with her assistant who shows no feelings at all. Like a robot. Eww. Gross to be used and wants to be used that way. And still she wants EH. Dayum girl. She said in bermuda triangle, one will die. I'm like, "Uh huh, that's gonna be you, girl." *finger snapping with pizazz. 

One scene that cracks me up was when EH's manager said he has dated 10 women and he slept with all 10 of them. EH was like, "Are you bragging right now?!" Hahahaha...poor dude, his manager gets more actions than him.

I try to hate Choi but I can't. He may be infatuated with ED before the accident and since ppl in the drama think he was "protecting her" during the accident, I think he was up to no good when it happened. When he woke up paralyze, his mom may be distraught and ED's dad knowing ED has amnesia, he got them married. 

 

@sooyoungdaebak - I also can't hate Choi. I pity him more than anything. He acknowledged that he was the one who came in between ED and EH and as such I think he is regretful of ED's situation. When the accident happened and he found out he was disabled, it must have been hard for him too as he was supposed to have a bright future in his baseball career. Having ED by his side may be just his last life line. Not that I am trying to excuse what he has done.. but he is pitiful.

 

 

@ohuihui, @sooyoungdaebak,  How can you guy's pity a man that's continue to lie to her that it's her fault he's in this situation and a guilt trip on her that's not pity that pure selfishness.. Like I said they have twisted this lie so bad and made it her disadvantages his advantage but it's her fault pity ED and RA II If you pity him may as well pity adopted mom to    

We don't know the exact situation what happened during and after the accident. He may be the mastermind of the whole thing or just go along with it because ED is his only hope for living. I pity him because he lives in the lie and when people live in the lie, they cannot be truly happy. He lives out of fear that ED and RI (which I believe not his son) will leave him. He lives with the knowledge that ED doesn't truly love him and just stay with him out of obligation rather than love. What kind of live is that? He doesn't truly live. 

From what I have seen so far, Choi husband's character is not just one dimensional second lead, unlike the  second female lead, which to me has no redeeming quality at all ( so far in the drama).

@seungshinl--I did read the interview but because of the name changes to the movie and actress, I didn't connect the dots.  Thank you for adding that. You can see there is some resemblance in the pics--can't get it to post here, but here's the direct link. I thought JJM looked a bit like Leon Lai, especially the jawline. Admittedly, I think our OTP is a better looking couple though!

@jadecloud---I'd bet that if CP-nim mentions a movie, some facet of it is going to work it's way into the drama. If he mentioned "Illicit Desire" then perhaps we all better buckle in!  We know JJM is not afraid of taking on roles as an actor that push the boundaries, or he would have never taken the part of the King in "Frozen Flower"!

This is just minor detail that came to my mind… ED's official name in the college is Seo Jeung-eun. So I presume that all her official document will reflect that. Then she introduced herself as ED to the Language Centre. Is it even possible since the City Hall or any government offices will have her official name?

That "clue" of the possibility Ra-il being EH's son is annoying to me because that gesture is a habit, it's not hereditary. It makes no sense for them to have the same habit when they never even met each other before. This method is used a lot in movies and TV but honestly, it's nonsense and lazy of the writers/directors. An allergy or any other medical condition would be better. /end rant

@alfalfa,  Ok Spanky reporting here I think the writer is leading up to RA II having some kind of allergy trait like EH we just have to wait and see I think it will be EH sister that figure out the child is her brothers the good thing is JH don't know that HA and HS are related and I hope stalking SR don't tell JH before HA or HS finds out about RA II

@jadecloud,  I get the in the mood for love feel from it now no matter how they try and hold back and do the right thing the more drawn they are to one another .. I just hope these two don't give us and ending like in the mood for love where they both go they separates ways..

When she asked him why he can't forget ED, and his reply, "I slept with her. We bang bang till death for two days and we see rainbows, and unicorns singing and we didn't leave the room for two days..." Ok, I am exaggerating the dialogue but still my ovaries was happy.

My gawd it's almost midnight and checking the thread and this made me laugh so hard and out loud woke up the hubby.. ED in that room for two day her ovaries should have been so happy.. 

It is quite clear that the adopted father had planned out everything. The fact that he banked on RI as the last straw to keep JE from leaving JH. No matter what, in his mind, he thinks that RI is the trump card and for any mother, it really is. The manipulative beep!! Using a child like that under the guise of saying it's best for both the child and JE. That part disgusts me the most. 

 

I agree with you this appears to be the father's thinking.  Which makes me wonder.  Could it be that the father really believes Jae Ho is the real father of Ra il.  Otherwise how could he bank on it with such certainty and conviction?  If he knows JH's not his father he has to think there is at least a slim chance his banking on it could be a problem.  Just putting it out there.

@seungshinl,   I think he do know that RA II is EH child because he did use the fact it's been 10 yrs it's already to late for him and not to give up to JH just think of the boy makes me think in other words he was telling him to get close ans tight as he possibly could to RA II to keep ED with him which leads me to think is his dad still sponsoring adopted dads team instead of son medical bills just who's paying them and the other bills in the home..   Also the bang bang 2.0 version I view it past the unicorns and stars more like earth shattering LOL

@shamrockmom  FF was the first time I saw JJM. I watched it purely for Jo In Sung, not the byuntae scenes. Honest.    JJM's eyes stays in my mind. I welcome Illicit Desires in this drama warmly and with open arms, CP-nim, Writernim. 

The last time I watched a drama, the writer keeps the sensual momentum high and till the end of the drama, all the viewers got was "hand porn" aka lots of hand holding only. Wth?! I was distraught for weeks!  Even teenage drama (OM) has neck kissings.

Translation:

The article is about a statement JJM and KSR made at the Press Conference for the drama.

When a reporter asked JJM, if there was a special regime he follows for his physical health /shape, JJM answered, other than refraining from alcohol there isn't anything else and that he was off alcohol (probably during the drama is on).  

Then he mentioned that he and KSR had gone for a drink recently and that KSR nursed a beer for 3 hours causing an explosion of laughter at the press conference.

Kim Sa Rang responded that she is not much of a drinker to start with and besides alcohol adds lots of calories.  Losing weight is so difficult so she basically doesn't drink at all, surprising the audience with her straight forward answer.

The article summary:

It's a bit of a 'in the dump' story about the TV ratings across the board.  Basically it says there is a huge variety of good quality dramas on air but no drama on any network (the main or cable) on any day of the week is catching fire at the moment.  All dramas are down.  HwaJung hovering around 10%, Who are You School didn't get as high as others in the series, even the Producer did not meet expectations.

Nothing really exciting in the ratings since Misaeng which created a bit of syndrom.

It mentions MYED as something that is creating a buzz especially because of such a different role JJM is playing but still its raining is only above 1% range.

Talk about after effect ED should have enjoyed those trimmers.. I also agree EH got some deeps roots to plant after he get rid of 10yrs worth of dust he may need to put a spit shine on it to water it back up LOL EH and ED has been in a 10 yrs drought I don't see how any of them could manage to fight off that desire takes strong will powers ED may have forgot her memory but I bet she didn't forget that..

Speaking of hand porn we had that in healer but JCW made it look worthy of other things in mind but before it was over he and PMY also had a bang bang night to as dad friend said how was the porridge he said real nice LOL

I just hope EH can stay sober and far away from crazy SR as much as possible because she's going to attack she wants to get to him before ED thinking she will leave her mark and he would crave for he instead of ED SR don't realize she would never measure up to his first the one his desires burns for..   

I like the fact that the writer is showing us that there are some men still choose to have one life partner and that's it...

@shamrockmom The MLE teaser is actually a deliberate reproduction of a scene(that pic you posted) from ITMFL. And so is the other teaser that looks like CAALS a reproduction of a famous scene from the original classic. CPnim Song has talked about what he called 'concepts', in one of his earlier journal entries, when they(production team) looked at/referenced various classic (similar genre) movies of the past. With this in mind, that's why my anticipation of ID movie being referenced too. I'm thinking...how can they reproduce any scene in there? the movie looks like (I should say sounds like since I'm basing my view on its synopsis and poster) a +19 uncensored genre, overly erotic. I thought that eroticism doesn't suit our OTP, at least where KSR is concerned. So, I'm very eager to find out what will be shown. I'll keep your caution in mind - buckle in

@docster6 mentioned about Eun Ho's Great Love and wondered about Eun Dong's great love. This sets me thinking. How great is Eun Dong's love for Hyun Soo/EH? Who loves whom first? I believe ED loves HS first. HS's concern for ED in their 10's started as he was responsible for the accident. It was after ED stood up for him at the court that he began to take more notice of her. For ED, she already was concerned for oppa/HS and wanted him to be a good person. Even in the 20's, someone (sorry, can't remember who) mentioned clues of ED being the one looking out for HS and for purposely using her old name JED at the city hall. She initiated and gave permission for HS to love her more (speed up) which led to the phone booth kiss, first night, and 2D3N vacation. She was sure of what she wanted with HS which was Marriage as she told her  friend. Before she lost consciousness at the accident, she called out his name. Even at that moment, all she cared for was him, and that he was still waiting for her at the park. Her love for HS is therefore not less than his for her. In fact, considering how fierce and strict her adopted father was, she must have been very brave to stay out that first night.
