Sometimes you need to “Start-Up” somewhere, for which you may have to “Fight For Your Way” to set a “Record Of Youth,” after all you should always “Dream High.” And no, these aren’t the lyrics of a new K-pop song but titles of popular K-dramas which have taught us to aim high and dream big.

From a struggling actor to an aspiring entrepreneur, an athlete who struggles for a comeback, or a mother who gets a second chance at fulfilling her dream, K- dramas have often given us inspiring stories of aspiration, motivating one through the journey of the protagonists. A young model and struggling actor, Sa Hye Joon (Park Bo Gum) has the looks and the talent to make it into showbiz.

And Ahn Jung Ha (Park So Dam), an ambitious and self-reliant makeup artist, is a fan of Hye Joon and wants to make it on her own terms.

“Record of Youth” delves into the murky and ruthless world of glamor where nepotism, rivalries, controversies, and planted scandals are routine fare. As the three characters chart the road to self discovery, they realize success brings its own sacrifices and that there’s a price one pays for life in the spotlight. Park Bo Gum breathes life into Hye Joon, who, though empathetic to those around him, is one of the most resilient characters. OMG!!! All the while that the artists of YG are going out of  of their fences, he, Bogum, is going to YG BUT I always trust his decision because I know he prays for it and it is God's vision for him. And, Blackpink and Winner and GDragon are still there (my favs).

YG Entertainment Denies Reports Of Park Bo Gum Joining The Agency

YG Entertainment has denied that Park Bo Gum is signing with the company.

 

On January 17, an industry representative reported that Park Bo Gum is joining YG Entertainment. The reports stated that the actor was influenced by Sean, who is a director of YG Entertainment, as they often go running and do volunteer work together.

 

However, YG Entertainment denied the reports, commenting, “It is not true that Park Bo Gum is joining YG Entertainment.”

 

Last month, Park Bo Gum parted ways with Blossom Entertainment after spending 10 years at the agency.

I'm so relived when yg denied it. there was also an article that says the big agencies didn't contact bogum bcz they don't know how to do it.

I call it b*llshit. What possible is they did contact him, but he rejects, so they need to save their pride by saying those things.

@Zgm616  in addition to the report, Sean, who is a member of YG Ent., and is close to Bogum and the recruitment of signing an exclusive contract with him was not true. So, what's next for him? It's been a year since he made his return from

 

the military. I'm eager to see him on the small screen for a new drama.

That's funny kind of articles. I don't even know how to analyze it. It is like these:  Is it Bogum the airy one or yeah, you're correct, they had been rejected. This is like a basketball free market . He is in a free agency. It will be hard for him to move since legalities are all handled by the people in the agency. It is okay for the meantime if he will manage himself but in the long run it will tire him out. Praying for him.

Bogum takes his steps carefully and like how he said in his Bazaar's interview, his pace is slowly, calmly. And I don't really mind, as long as he takes two acting projects this year cause 4 years of hiatus is just too much

@Sakurafairy  none that I remember so far because the likes of Hyunbin, Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki, Kim Soo Hyun,  Lee Jong-suk, Park Hyung Sik, EXO's D.O, 2PM’s Junho have comeback projects after finishing MS. That's why, they say that MS can make or break a showbiz career.  Some Korean actors and idols finished military service prior to debuting in the entertainment scene, while some have had to go on a hiatus to enlist.

@Zgm616  thanks for sharing this. Since Park Bo Gum was discharged from the military,  he has since been meeting with the public through volunteer activities such this and as an awards ceremony MC. And he recently attended the premiere of the movie “Phantom” to show support for Park So Dam, who co-starred with him in “Record of Youth”.

On January 18th, Sean posted photos of them together volunteering on his Instagram with a caption - "Sean, Yoon Seah, Park Bogum. We volunteered to do a briquette service. Yoon Seah carried 10 briquettes and went up and down the hill without rest. Bogum is used to this by now, so he easily carried up to 15 briquettes at a time.
