Where Are We Going?” Gets International Emmy Kids Award Nomination

The family-oriented MBC variety show “Dad! Where Are We Going?” has been nominated at the Third International Emmy Kids Awards in the US.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on October 14, the MBC variety show is nominated for the “Non-scripted Entertainment” category of the Third International Emmy Kids Awards and the ceremony will be held in New York on February 20, 2015.

Other nominees in the category include “A Hero on Tuesdays” from Germany,“Let’s Get Inventin‘” from New Zealand, and “Wild Kids” from Sweden. Last year, United Kingdom’s “Pet School” took home the Emmy Kids Award for the “Non-scripted Entertainment” category.

In case the show wins this category, this would be the third time that “Dad! Where Are We Going?” will be recognized in the international scene. The show has previously received two international awards including the Platinum Award in the TV entertainment category of WorldFest-Houston International Film 2014 and Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Prize 2013.

MBC’s “Dad! Where Are We Going?,” which began airing in January 2013, features a group of celebrity fathers and their children who go on a trip to spend quality time together. The show’s format has become so popular that it spawned international versions in China, where it has a huge following, as well as Russia and Vietnam, which are slated to air this year.

“Dad! Where Are We Going?” airs on MBC every Sunday on MBC.

haven't seen the latest raw episode.but i really hope for binnie's airtime to increase..she is so hilarious and spontaneous.
i only followed the eng sub episode..but it's hard to see binnie's interaction between appa n other casts.it is always about woong in's family and sung joo-jung hwan bromance, which is kinda boring for me.i prefer the hidden camera part and interaction between the kids. the editing and format these days sucks. no wonder DWAYG got low rating..hope for them to improve because i really like this show..it is my NO.1 kids tv programme.

A pleasant fashion pictorial featuring actor Jung Woong-in and his daughter Jung Se-yun for LS Networks’ outdoor brand Jack Wolfskin has been released.

In the pictures, the father and daughter are showing their warm bond, playing guitar and wearing stylish outdoor apparel. 

The two are currently appearing on the KBS reality show “Where Are We Going, Dad?” They have won the hearts of viewers through their candidness and lovely personalities.

The father and daughter tandem of actor Jung Woong In and Jung Se Yoonof the MBC show “Dad! Where Are We Going?” has recently went on a lovely day out wherein they had a lot of fun spending time and biking together.

On October 15, photos of the father and daughter were uploaded on the personal Instagram account of Jung Woong In’s wife and Jung Se Yoon’s mother, Lee Ji In.

The collage of photos which Lee Ji In captioned as “The Jung couple’s bike date” showed one wherein Jung Woong In and his eldest daughter Jung Se Yoon biking together, another wherein the two are doing a pinkie promise, and another wherein the father Jung Woong In seems to be teaching or helping Jung Se Yoon with something about her bike.

Another photo showed Jung Se Yoon riding her bike all on her own.

After the photo was uploaded, many showed their appreciation and praised Jung Woong In and his wife for spending time with their daughter despite their busy schedule.

Jung Woong In and Jung Se Yoon joined MBC’s “Dad! Where Are We Going?” on the second season of the series.

Meanwhile, MBC’s “Dad! Where Are We Going?” has recently been nominated for an award in the International Emmy Kids Awards wherein it will go against other nominees in the “Non-scripted Entertainment” category including “A Hero on Tuesdays” from Germany,“Let’s Get Inventin‘” from New Zealand, and “Wild Kids” from Sweden.
