Jang Ok Jung Lives in Love Episode 6 Review: Kim Tae Hee Meets Again with Her Old Enemy

In Jang Ok Jung Lives in Love, episode 6, Jang Ok Jung(played by Kim Tae Hee) met with her old enemy, Ja Kyung(played by Ji Yoo).

Ok Jung became a sewing court lady at the palace. While she was listening to directions about living in the palace, the head of the sewing court lady, Lady Cheon(played by Jang Young Nam), came in to inspect each of the members’ clothes.

Lady Cheon complimented only on Ja Kyung. Then she turned to Ok Jung who was the new member. Ja Kyung recognized Ok Jung as she saw her, and recalled the old days.

Jang Ok Jung Lives in Love Episode 6 Review: Kim Tae Hee Undergoes a Harsh Hazing on the First Day

In Jang Ok Jung Lives in Love, episode 6, Jang Ok Jung(played by Kim Tae Hee) had to go through a harsh hazing on the first day of work at the palace.

Ok Jung became a sewing court lady at the palace. On her way to do laundry, she met the Great Queen Kim(played by Kim Sun Kyung). The Great Queen Kim was not fond of her living near the king because she looked too erotic, but was relieved after hearing that Ok Jung was just a sewing court lady.

After Ok Jung was done with laundry, the colleagues came and stomped on the cleaned clothes. As Ok Jung asked why they were doing that, they said, “How dare a vulgar thing like you come here and act like one of us.” Then they poured lye on her head and laughed at her.

Meanwhile, Ja Kyung(played by Ji Yoo) was watching them and smiled of satisfaction.

I've been thinking that those flowers hanging from the ceiling of the hothouse looked vaguely familiar   :-?   and now I finally know why  - Those are wisterias and we have them growing all over the pergola in our garden, however, they aren't blooming just yet, so that's why I couldn't recognize them immediately. I suspect that the wisterias used in JOJ were artificial, however, they still helped to bring the fairytale-like mood of that scene  :x

Just got back from work I check the forum immediately. all i could think whole day is about the rating ^^, i know it won't beat the other competitors, but at least some improvement to encourage the pd, staff and the cast would be nice.

@jillia - I agree. That is one of the strongest scenes.

Haven't seen it with subs but that one left a lasting impression in my mind. I rewand it a few time to see it over. He is quite a good actor - delightfully evil cause he has a bone to pick with some others in the axis of pure evil.
