배우 장혁이 무자년 새해 아빠와 남편이 된다.

장혁의 소속사 싸이더스 HQ는 29일 "장혁이 6년동안 사귄 2세 연상의 김여진씨와 2008년 6월 2일 결혼하며, 앞서 2월에는 출산을 앞둔 예비 아빠임을 알린다"고 밝혔다.

Actor Jang Hyuk next year will be a father and a husband.

Jang Hyuk's management company Sidus HQ on the 29th announced "Jang Hyuk will be marrying a woman 2 years older than him,Kim Yeo Jin, after 6 years of dating on June 2,2008. Next February he will be a father."

장혁과 피앙세 김여진씨는 지난 2002년 장혁이 다니던 피트니스 클럽에서 처음 만났고, 당시 김씨는 무용학과 출신으로 피트니스 클럽에서 잠시 필라테스 레슨을 맡고 있었다. 김씨는 국내외 주요 공연에서 무용수로도 활동했었다.

Jang Hyuk and his fiancee Kim Yeo Jin first met in 2008 at Danideon Fitness Club, she is a dance graduate and teaches Pilates at the fitness club. Miss Kim has performed many times in and outside of the country.

장혁은 수강생 40여명 가운데 유일하게 자신만 남자여서 단순히 선생님과 제자로 한 달에 한 번 정도 밥을 먹는 사이였다. 그러다 김씨와 자연스럽게 친해지며 가까워져 교제를 하게 됐고, '남편과 아빠'라는 두 가지 결실을 맛보게 됐다.

두 사람은 이미 지난 6월에 양가 부모님이 참석한 가운데 조촐한 약혼식을 올렸고, 산모의 산후조리가 끝나고 6월 웨딩마치를 울릴 예정이다.

They had their engagement ceremony last June in front of their parents; they decide on a June wedding ceremony with the idea that she can rest up after postpartum/delivering a child.

장혁은 예비신부 김씨에 대해 "많은 부분이 나와 닮았고, 마음이 따뜻하고 이해심도 나보다 많다. 무엇보다 믿음이 가는 사람이다. 시간이 갈수록 더 고맙고 좋은 사람이다"고 말했다.

Jang Hyuk said to his future bride Miss Kim "You are a big part of me, you have a warm heart and understading of me. Most importantly you are a trusting person. As time goes by I'm thankful of you the good person."

장혁은 이어 "무엇보다 내게 가장 힘든 시기였던 2004년에 옆에서 늘 함께 해 주었다. 내가 힘들었을 때 버팀목이 돼 준 사람이어서 고마움과 감동은 말로 설명할 수 없다. 애정표현을 열심히 하려고 하는 편인데, 이 자리를 빌어 오랫동안 함께 있어줘 너무 고맙다.지금처럼 아주 작은 것에도 고마워하고 행복을 찾아가자"고 예비신부에 대해 따뜻한 마음을 전했다.장혁의 결혼식은 2008년 6월 2일 언론 공개로 진행될 예정이며 아직 예식장 등 세부사항은 결정되지 않았다.

Jang Hyuk said, "She has been with me through out my most difficult times in 2004. I can't explain how touched and how thankful I was of her during the time I was most troubled. I expressed my love for her then, I have asked her to be by my side all this time and I'm very thankful. Just like now I'm grateful and always look out for happiness." he happily conveyed his warm heart to his bride to be. Jang Hyuk's wedding on 2008/6/2 will be open to the public. The ceremony place and details have yet to be decided.

장혁은 새해 1월 2일 첫 방송되는 SBS 수목드라마 <불한당>(극본 김규완·연출 유인식)으로 컴백한다.

It's pretty cool that the news reporters in Korea seem to respect the stars' privacy. I mean obviously JH's fiancee is heavily pregnant by now yet the news never reported this.

i read about how jang hyuck speak so lovingly of his future wife . and also mother of his baby~ .it is quite a touching story . now i understand during that army scandal why did JH seem to be able to take the pressure , .at that time i was quite taken by how he handle that . .vey calmly and quietly .

This is such a sad news to hear and see that Janghyuk the guy that I've been drooling over for years is finally tieing the knot and so he is no longer a bacherlor...

I'm very very happy for him that he has found his other half, the person he is going to spend his life with.... not only that a baby on the way. I'm so sure that he will be the best Daddy a Dad can be.

I'm just still very sad that he is no longer a bacherlor anymore and I will drool over him differently from now on just knowing that he is married will be different.

Jang Hyuk (31) announced today that he will be a father. The child with pilates instructor, Kim Yeo-jin (33) is expected in February 2008.

The couple is planning to tie the knot in June 2008 ? just 4 months after giving birth. The poor girl will have to do a Heidi Klum to whip herself into shape in time for the summer wedding.

The couple met in 2002 when the actor took her pilates class about once a month. Incidentally, he was the only male in the class of 40 females (lucky females to have such eye-candy!!). The teacher-student relationship of once a month dates blossomed into more when Jang Hyuk and Ms. Kim met the parents and announced their engagement this year.

For starters, Double H Gym on Dosan Road or California Fitness in Apku-jong are the place for celebrity sightings. However, you need a membership first.
