In part 1 PD Kwak talked about Jang Hyuk a bit..about how impressed he was with Jang Hyuk...Instead of saying "Ok.Cut." He would say things like "Oooohhhh Oookaaay! Cut!" "Love it!!! Cut!" "Killer!! Cut" Fanboy Kwak Jung Hwan? hahaha

A movie entitled 『독종』. Its an action thriller. He will be playing a suspect (or a criminal?) again.

Filming starts in April.

배우 정진영과 장혁이 영화 '독종'의 주인공으로 캐스팅됐다.

Actors Jung Jin Young and Jang Hyuk have been cast as the male leads for the movie 'Tenacious'.

'독종'은 공시시효 만료를 앞둔 사건을 파헤쳐가는 형사(정진영)와 용의자(장혁)의 이야기를 다룬 액션스릴러물. 오는 4월 첫 촬영에 들어갈 예정이다.

'Viper' is an action thriller story that involvong a detective (Jung Jin Young) and a suspect (Jang Hyuk) that takes place before the expiration of the statue of limitations of a case. The movie plans to start filming in April.

한편 정진영은 최근 개봉된 '평양성'에서 장군 역을 맡아 열연을 펼쳤다.

Jang Hyuk is crazy...April filming date...that means he will still be filming Midas. We all know shooting drama on-tht-fly like most K-dramas is hectic enough..but now he's also shooting another movie.

So it's official...2 movies in 2011...at least 1 drama (possibly 2) in 2011.

I am shaking my head in disbelief....I mean it's just so crazy....

Thanks ocha for the translation. I read the similar Chinese translated news from Baidu says that Hyuk only has a small part in this movie. He's not the lead actor so he may find the time to squeeze in. But I don't quite understand why he chose a similar role as in Client At any rates, Hyuk is gonna be too busy and I can see he's losing weight and sleep already.

There is news about Chuno is advancing to the finals of the New York TV Fest. Mini Series Cat. Just saw this in Baidu from Coke. I google translated it. It seems they will have the ceremony in Vegas on April 12. 'New York' Fest but ceremony in Vegas, interesting. Well, well, well......

Is Hyuk coming to Vegas if Chuno wins? Ocha, can we carpool to Vegas to stalk our beloved Hyukie?

Yayyyy congrats to Chuno for advancing.

I wish he'd go to the festival..but somehow I doubt it though. If the festival is in Japan or even anywhere in Asia, I can see him going. But to US? unlikely given the tight filming schedule he is in right now.

hahatk: Oh good then if the role in the next movie is small..maybe then he won't have to film too long. He needs time to recuperate from Midas filming before he takes on Deep Rooted Tree.

By the way Hyuk will appear on tvn 'Dream' on the 12th at 11PM (Korea time). This is tvn and Sidus's production..basically Hyuk, Jae Bum, Danny Ahn, Kim Su Ro, etc will impart their knowledge and experience to the young people who wishes to go into showbiz.

Jen - thanks for the link. Its so warm and fuzzy to watch Hyuk. I dun know, that's the feeling he gives me. I am impressed with the photoshoot becos they got so many outfits and accessories for him.

New York TV fest? Real impressed. Well Hyuk is a sucker for travel, and so who knows, if America invites him maybe he will turn up?
