I think it actually says that Secret Garden will start on 13 November, not 23 November.

I think I get back from Asia on 23 November, so that would have been my preferred date. I'll have some catching up to do if it really starts on the 13th!

I wonder which subbing group will grab this one...

qwenli, thanks for the latest news and also the pic. I really hate his hair in All About Eve, though. I don't mind the length; it's just the way they styled it. Really didn't like his look for that drama, which I'm likely never to see anyway!

There is some question in the Secret Garden thread regarding Ha Ji-won's participation. I hope that can be cleared up!

To answer your question, yes, as it happens, I will be spending a couple of weeks in Myanmar, and, in fact, leaving from and returning to Singapore. Haven't been to Singapore in a long time, so I'm looking forward to it (and the hotel...), although I guess it might be raining a lot in November? Weird, because it is NOT the rainy season in Myanmar, whereas it's the opposite in Singapore. Hoping to take a lot of photos and enjoy myself!

He look so handsome in the light blue jacket! The brief description that came with it was that Hyuk managed to climb the Point Perpendicular cliff of Australia. It is the largest cliff there and is 197m!

Jill - Oh, Singapore is a my beloved country. Some say its too small, some say its too sterile, but well its really clean + green and things are efficient. If you havent been for a long time, its quite different now. There are now 2 casinos + a Universal studio. The whole Orchard Road is revamped and the largest shopping mall is Vivocity at the doorstep of Sentosa. Nov is the rainy season, but hopefully you are there during the good days!

So just as we thought...Life Is Beautiful has been extended to air until November. Which really isn't a surprise and in fact can be a good thing for Secret Garden. With Secret Garden's premiere scheduled for November 13, the SG crew will have more time to prepare (notably for Ha Ji Won who won't be able to join the cast until September).

Jill : You are a world traveler!! I'm always amazed at the countries that you have visited or are planning to visit. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun in the upcoming trip.

Regarding Ha Ji Won..she is 100% confirmed for Secret Garden.

You know, I am meeting a friend in Singapore, but I have to kill some time on my own, so it sounds as if I should visit Vivocity...but it's so huge, I might get lost!!! Anyway, I might have to spend time there and elsewhere inside if it's raining too much!!! Singapore has so many nice shopping centers! I really love Singapore, so I know I'm going to enjoy myself. Haven't been to Myanmar before, so that'll be great as well!

hi all, I sort of analysed Hyuk's votes vs Oh Ji Ho at the drama fest and this is the outcome:

From Korean page 564 votes, Oh 322

From English page 206 votes, Oh 321

From Japanese page 361 votes, Oh 270

Its very obvious where it is lacking, this is partly due to the fact that the China fans have problems accessing the page. But in anycase please vote whenever you can or ask your friends to vote too. I know Hyuk wont win, but just want the gap between him and OJH to be wider because it seems to be Daegil vs Song Tae Ha again at no.5 and 6!

6일 방송된 MBC ‘섹션TV 연예통신’에서는 아웃도어 의류 지면 광고촬영을 하는 장혁과 천정명, 유인영을 찾아가 인터뷰를 가졌다.

On the 6th MBC Section TV interviewed Jang Hyuk, Chun Jung Myung, and Yoo In Young who were filming an outdoor shoot for an advertisement.

최근 광고 촬영을 위해 198m 암벽등반을 했던 장혁과 천정명에 대해 얘기하던 도중 승부욕이 넘치는 남자 어떠냐는 리포터 김새롬의 질문에 유인영이 “승부욕이 있는 남자는 섹시해 보인다”고 답하자 다시 “천정명과 장혁 둘 중 어떤 남자가 더 섹시하냐”고 물었다.

Recently Jang Hyuk and Chun Jung Myung succesfully climbed a 198m rock wall for the advertisement shoot. The reporter Kim Sae Rom asked Yoo In Young about how she feels about a man who is competitive. Yoo In Young answered "I see a competitive man as sexy." The reporter asked another question "Between Chun Jung Myung and Jang Hyuk who is sexier?"

이에 장혁이 “그게 진짜 힘든 답변이다”고 곤란해 하는 유인영을 대변하는 모습을 보이자 김새롬은 “그래도 장혁 씨는 유부남이라는 핸디캡이 있지 않냐”며 천정명을 말하도록 유도했다.

Jang Hyuk said "That's really hard to answer". When seeing that Yoo In Young is having difficulty answering, Kim Se Rop says "Jang Hyuk has a handicap because he's a married man, hasn't he?" insinuating Chun Jung Myung.

김새롬의 말에 장혁은 “유부남이 왜 핸디캡이냐”고 갑자기 정색하며 진지하게 “유부남은 핸디캡이 아니다. (유부남은) 단지 결혼을 한 것 뿐이다”고 말했지만 뭔가 잘못 이야기 한 듯한 얼굴 표정으로 변하더니 “유부남이 핸디캡인가요?”라고 물으며 민망해 하는 모습을 보여 웃음을 자아냈다.

To Kim Sae Rop's words, Jang Hyuk said "Why is a married man a handciap?". He seriously and sincerely said "Being a married man isn't a handicap.  It just means having been married." His facial expression changes as if he's said something wrong "Is a married man a handicap?" asking embarassedly which brought laughters.

이외에도 장혁은 새드라마에 대해서 “처음으로 재벌 2세역을 맡았다. 지금까지 재벌과 비슷한 역할을 했지만 항상 망하거나 양반이었는데 추노꾼으로 됐다”며 “(캐스팅 조건으로) 이번에는 안망한다고 했다”고 확신하는 모습을 보였다.

Jang Hyuk also talked about his new drama "I played a character who is at first a 2nd generation chaebol. Until now I seem to play a role similar to a chaebol.  Always a nobility falling into being a slave hunter." "This time (the casting condition) won't fall/perish."
