@vangsweetie637 : As @LuvMinHo said, the new text preview is really juicy :D

Concerning the anatomy session. I learned new stuffs again. After reading it, I had to see the translation of the word "nibbling" and I had a whole new view on the lesson ;))

You're making me expect the next lesson to be more fructious. Hope I don't put pressure on you though :))

And I dare to say that the second lesson is more promising than the over ;))

Of course, since he's the Daejang, his share of the cake must be bigger than the others :))

Though the dessert was short for the Woodalchi, Daejang is quite possessive ;))

@vangsweetie637  Your anatomy class and Ep 4 preview are hilarious! You are certainly a very talented creative writer. Looking forward to your next class.  ;) mattie2012 said:

I wanted to pause for a while here and think about why KG decided to ask a warrior his opinion of him as king.  I doubt that he knew what to expect from Choi Young's thoughts but he must have thought to himself:  here is a warrior, a regular citizen of my country.  He is not a politician or a statesman so he would not be in any position to give diplomatic answers.  I have no connection to him right now other than his duty to protect me.  I put my life in his hands today and he protected me with his life.  What does a regular citizen like him think of this new king in town?

This final statement of Choi Young is open to a lot of interpretation.  It's everyone's turn to explain why he said that.  I have to rest my brain:)>-

@vangsweetie637, amazing anatomy lesson! Medical school was never this interesting! LOL. Hair, earlobes, neck, bare skin and broad shoulders! I love it, and you write stories as well?!! Have you written any gutter stories on Imja? LOL. Less Than a Hundred Years on Fanfiction.net has been coming out with very graphic scenes - I'm almost embarassed.  :)) But honestly, the writing is brilliant. Can't wait to read yours!
@myphim, I can't get over Deol Bae's expression. He was really in The Zone!  :))

I think from this statement, we can discern that Choi Young's opinion of the King is slowly changing. I don't think initially he would have cared what the King thought of him. But by the end of the conversation as he began to see this young King's true heart and earnest desire to know CY's honest thoughts and the thoughts of the people of Goryeo in general, Choi Young is beginning to really look at Gongmin.

He is surprised by Gongmin's sincere need to know, and not slightly moved by it. He has after all been under two kings before this - the lunatic that killed his teacher and the young boy he took under his wing. Both, in his opinion was not fit to be King. Gongmin being a mere 21 yr old, he thought the same - so he did not expect deep thinking, conscience and sincerity in one so young. So after sharing his honest thoughts and blunt words, unconsciously he didn't want Gongmin to take personal offense. It wasn't Gongmin in particular that he hated - it was the Goryeo kingship in general. And he was beginning to like this King, even though he hasn't realised it just yet.

Well said @ azzurri :)>-

And I will add that CY must have saw GM was affected by his words.

CY was kind of a spokesman of the people in this scene, so he wasn't only hurt by CY's point of view on him but also of all his people he had yet to meet.

To come to understand that his people doesn't care about him when he's dead worry about the safety of his nation, add to that KC is trying to kill him, his love is dying, he's a puppy king and all the Yuan pressure, those words was the last blow of the day, and I think he took it pretty bavely by the way.

So CY must have wanted to ease his worry. But only speaking honesty, since that is the only things he knows.

And also, the first question GM asked to CY is if he hated him.

Hence CY simply answered his premier question :

"THEREFORE, It's not that I dislike you in particular"

@mattie2012 :

Thank you for your analysis on relationship between king Gongmin and Choi Young.I really love how your interpreted their emotion in details. It just made me notice some points that I missed and got me cleared that I did not fully understand.
Conversations between these two men had always been thought-inducing.Their dialogues had me hooked from the very first episodes. All of my favourite scenes from both episode 1 and 2 are their conversations.I had already shared my favourite scene from episode 2.
In episode 1,this is the one, their "Heart-to-Heart conversation". GM : "Why is it that you didn't like me when I'm your king?....CY : "To think we will be putting our country in the hands of a person like that, our Goryeo people must have some pretty bad luck. This is what I thought." GM : "I suppose everyone else probably thinks that as well."
CY : "You are the 5th king in just over 10 years.I doubt the people even care anymore." It must have been shocked and painful for the king to hear such a blunt answer from a warrior who represented his citizens. Not only the king but also was I shocked to hear(in my case, to see) how BOLD Choi Young was. =D>
He was a blunt talker and straight shooter. What made me love this character even more is LMH's acting, especially his big EXPRESSIVE EYES.At the end of his dialogue "This is what I thought." (at 21:57),I like how swiftly his eyes changed to serious look. :x

It made me realized LMH's version of Choi Young won't be like our typical warrior kdrama hero. Many people expected to see him in Faith as a typical warrior, all musculine, hard bodied (is that even a word?) hero like KJH's version. However,LMH's version is so unique. The way he portrayed Choi Young is so exclusive (for me at least). It just put me in "Never Before Seen" Mode. :D
@sia3 ,@myphim and all minoz : You must be so proud of him. He's more than just eye candy (unlike some people bash ).Oh, haters from other threads, just GO TO HELL with Gicheol!! He really is impressive talented actor! ^:)^ ^:)^   I should have watched his earlier dramas.
Omg!I was distracted again.Where are we?oh,the king! :D :D
I was quite surprised to see the king reaction to Choi Young's straight forward answer as well. The truths hurt.He must be devastated but he graciously thanked CY instead of fuming and raging.Judging from this scene,Gongmin was far from typical shallow king though he seemed to have inferiority complex.RDH's acting didn't disappoint me here as well.I like how he tried to cover up the pain and the hurt inside with a smile (22:36).
@mattie2012 : I agree with @myphim. CY's "Therefore it's not that I dislike you in particular." statement seemed to be a gesture of encouragement to lift Gongmin's spirit.

Thank you all for your insightful and awesome posts. \m/ @azzurri : Your post about King Gongmin's imperial palace is so insightful.Goryeo Architects from 1000 years ago were very wise and thoughtful building "Environmental friendly Palace".
@Yuuni : your "peekaboo" translation and @myphim 's gifs you reposted CRACKED ME UP! =)) =)) I hadn't found soompi and you Faithlings back then.I'm so glad you reposted them.

@myphim : Your gifs made my day.Thank you! :-bd
@vangsweetie637 : We are waiting for the episode 4 preview and your another half of CY's anotomy lecture. Please keep them coming dear. 8->

I'm still on page 1354.Off to catch up!

Edit ; omo,I'm so sorry! My post was getting so long. :-S

@myphim   I'm fine with it as long as the others agree. How did we manage to do it so quickly for episode 1? I will backtrack now to read all the posts.

Apparently there's one stoic man behind DK.

He doesn't seem to be really affected.. unless he's keeping his composure ;))

@WutHmone : I was just a lurker back then so i couldnt tell them but the Faithlings were really creative :)) And still are of course ;)

I'll try to repost some funny post later, if it doesn't annoy anyone.

Edit : I just noticed I was misspelling your username, AGAIN !

I didnt do it on purpose, I swear T_T

It's not even that hard to write, KC must have frozen my brain.. :-w
