@elizabeth - Mianhae for late replying to your post on #1461 thread the photos were from Hyun Bin shoot in the Z-Zin magazine.  In soompi at #1406 thread but you could also browse Secret Garden With Hyun Bin or en.korea.com under the Hyun Bin fc.  I do favour this one and the one that Hyun Bin smoking hot (literally) btw there's a video bts of the photoshoot too.

Jang Dong Gun and Hyun Bin reveal seven figure salaries

As a result of the merging of AM Entertainment and SM C&C, the earnings of top stars Jang Dong Gun and Hyun Bin were recently revealed.

The earnings from endorsements, dramas, and movies of the actors under AM Entertainment were revealed by a public statement just days ago. Although letters of the alphabet were used instead of actual names in order to conceal the identities of each actor, it was not hard to realise that actor ‘A’ stands for Jang Dong Gun.

According to the statement, actor Jang Dong Won’s appearance fee for his recent drama ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘ was revealed by 2 billion KRW (around $1,788,000 USD).

Jang Dong Won, whose earnings from endorsements amounted to around $2,413,800 USD in 2011, jumped to a whopping $5,837,600 dollars after starring in the drama ‘Gentlemen’s Class’. Meanwhile, his salary is expected to rise even further after his film ‘Dangerous Liaisons‘ is released. His earnings from the film is reported to be 1.3 billion KRW (~ $1,161,284 USD).

Meanwhile, the wages of actor Hyun Bin, whose popularity skyrocketed after his 2010 drama ‘Secret Garden‘, does not fall far behind. For each episode of ‘Secret Garden’, the actor was paid around $27,000 dollars and earned an estimated number of $178,838 just from additional profit from the drama. After the drama, the actor earned about $2,914,200 total from eight endorsement deals.

Those of other actors including Kim Ha Neul, Shin Min Ah, and Han Ji Min were also revealed along with the salaries range of Jang Dong Gun and Hyun Bin.

Japanese magazine Anan recently did a survey asking, “What is your favorite Hallyu TV series?” SBS’s Protect The Boss, in which Kim appeared, ranked first.

Kim also ranked third, following Hyun Bin, on the survey of ‘Japanese women’s favorite Korean actor.’

The fashion magazine, which sells around 300 thousand copies every week since 1970, is well known as a publication that features the top stars. The magazine is also very popular among girls from their 20s through 30s.

′Come Rain, Come Shine′ to Premiere in Japan after Hyun Bin′s Military Release

Hyun Bin′s film Come Rain, Come Shine will premiere in Japan after his release from the military.

According to local media outlets in Japan on September 25, the film Come Rain, Come Shine, starring Hyun Bin and Im Soo Jung, will start screening in theaters across Japan from March 2013.



The film was directed by director Lee Yoon Ki, and premiered in Korea in March 2011. It was the only Korean film to enter the 61st Berlin International Film Festival in 2011, and gathered interest for being Hyun Bin′s last piece before his enlistment.

The screening is more meaningful in that it takes place despite mounting anti-Korean sentiments in the country surrounding Dokdo issues.

Come Rain, Come Shine is based on a Japanese short story titled The Cat That Can Never Come Back by Areno Inoue. It is about how a man tries to cope with the emotions that follow the sudden end to his five year old marriage.

Hyun Bin entered the Marine Corps in March 2011, and will be released on December 6.
