the actual powder is called gulal, if you live in an indian-populated area (like me hahahaha) you can prolly ask friends or go to an indian market for it

Anybody know where to buy purse chain thingies INCLUDING the hooks so the chain can hook onto the wallet?

I been meaning to make my wallet into a purse so I won't have to carry it in my hand but I can't find what I'm looking for. Once I found it on another wallet and actually considering buying it so I can just get the chain, but I didn't want to waste money on an expensive wallet just for the chain.

I've tried googling it but I'm not getting the results I want cuz I want the hook too so I can attach it to my wallet.

I want to hook it like a clutch if you can visualize it?

^unless you can (or are willing) to poke holes through your wallet, it looks like you have to solder jumprings onto the metal part of it .. (??)

there's soldering irons on ebay for like $3 (crappy, but they get the job done), flux and solder are cheap on ebay as well

as for where to get the chain .. ebay? LOL

there's different styles and sizes/lengths of chains, so you might wanna look into the names and how big you want it. you can always just buy a men's necklace chain (cos they're thicker and sturdy) and use that

I can't really think of anything else other than soldering half jump rings on. you can't really just attach a hook without it falling off or being magnetic or something :/

hmmm I wasn't imagining using a halfjump ring.

What I want to use is a flat hook that looks like -> L <- so that it can slep under the metal parts in my wallet and part of it will still out (where there's a hole so I can clip the chain on).

I wish I knew what it was called. well if I did I wouldn't be asking you guyz haha.

forever21 has a bunch of their sites, they're mainly necklaces but you can always take them apart and buy bracelet hooks at a craft store.

btw anyone know if its possible to spray paint a chain without the links sticking together?

Poop-Shoop-A-Loop - not sure if this will work at all, but maybe you can find mini photo frame hooks and use extremely strong glue to glue it to the inside of your wallet (but im not sure if its thin enough so your wallet can close). I think i have a blurry idea of what you're looking for but i dont know the name either...maybe it will pop up in my head later. As for the chain, maybe you can get a thick chain necklace from forever21 (or use several chains so it wont fall apart easily). Sorry kind of a useless suggestion
